It was kinda painful to lose my level 163 old self but being freed of my thirst for vengeance was much more of a happy occurence.

In front of my eyes were three panels, representing the three options I was given: a black cat, a raven and a wisp. This was knew to me as most classes required to actually look for a trainer when I was still human.

I looked attentively at the three options, each had a little summary to help decisions. The black wyvern I was told about wasn't available, but that wasn't a surprise, it would be stupid if I could turn into such a being from the begining. The raven was a good scout and could disturb enemies in the middle of the fight but lacked offensive power. The wisp on the other hand had a lot of firepower with the magic it could wield but lacked defense and used too much mana. I naturally chose the last one, the black cat was nimble enough to dodge enemy attacks and it's claws were enough to kill low level enemies. Once my choice was done the notifications multiplied.

Strange, feline is linked, meaning I would lose it by changing form, but black cat's curse isn't. It must be because the curse isn't actually reliant on body shape.

Now that I have assesed my status I need a plan. If I want to leave this place I'll need quite the power, the forgotten temple outside was no training ground and my feline might would probably be insufficient to face it. Luckily the same couldn't be said about the witch's cave, it is filled with weak creatures like rats, insects and small lizards. Those are easy prey for me, I spent most of my time hunting in the first days and quickly earned my first levels by preying on those weak critters.

At that moment I realized the importance of not overhunting as there were no other preys to find. It wasn't that much of a problem thought, since I managed to get the skills I needed to get out. My new skills were mostly coming from my black cat form, which seemed like it was like a human's jobs. The only exceptions were the stealth and plague eater skills I obtained by stalking and eating rats.

My goal is now to get out of there, find my way to the surface with stealth and find some witch to serve or whatever I could to make Pampil happy. Witch remind me that also have to find a way to seal the place. With a little cat's body. I guess it is a good challenge.
