Paul’s POV
It’s been five years since Sasha was born and God has blessed us again. Jane will be delivering today, I need to make sure that I’m there with John over there. I hope I get a grandson as I want to have a successor for my Dragon Dojo. John started his business after getting an MBA 10 years ago and just within 5 years it made us one of those large corporate families. He then decided to form a board of directors who took care of the decisions while the final say would be his. He decided to live a life of peace and joy.
Soon Sasha was born and filled our house with joy. She was the angel who reminded me of her grandmother Carla. Carla, my wife was one of the foremost experts in the Flaming Dragon and Flowing Dragon styles. Not just that though as she was the most beautiful person I had seen. I, the son of the Patriarch of the Dojo, expert in Lightning Dragon, Raining Dragon and Storm Dragon styles courted her for three years and finally she accepted. Our parents gave their blessing and we married.
Then John was born, I was the happiest person on the planet. I told my wife that I would protect the tender life she had given birth to. She was ecstatic as well. John grew up to be a gentleman, though he practiced only one style the Control Dragon, he used his analytical mind and studied hard enough to get an MBA and set up a business.
He then brought home his girlfriend and asked our permission to get married. She was Jane, a lovely young lady befitting John. My wife knew that they would be happy together and hence we agreed. 4 years later tragedy struck, claiming the life of my wife. The previous night, Jane and John gave us a good news that we would become grandparents. Carla was very excited about the fact that she would have a grandchild that she couldn’t even sleep properly. I told her to sleep as the next day would be very special.

But little did I know that I wasted my last few moments with her by sleeping! I found out that she had died when I woke up the next morning and shook her shoulder. I couldn’t feel her ki moving. I was shocked, I tried to feel her pulse but there was none.
The fact that she had a big beautiful smile on her face when she died made me cry the most. John and Jane were depressed as well. Seeing my wife’s smile for one last time made me realize that she passed away peacefully. It was the way she had intended it to be, I consoled myself and the rest and we fulfilled her final rites.
Happiness descended when Sasha was born. I missed my wife dearly and Sasha’s face clearly reminded me of her. She was steadily growing up and seemed more graceful and lovely, I wonder whether I will have the luck of being blessed with a grandson as well.
The goddess of fortune was smiling at me and I had a grandson, the child reminded me of the time John was born. He looked more like his mother though. I did feel that fate was cruel, it allowed me to see these two beautiful faces instead of my wife whom it took away from me. He wore a huge smile after being handed over to his father. He turned and smiled at his mother.
When he came to me, he wanted to pull my cheeks! This made me laugh heartily as not even Sasha did this. I then named him Lee after my great grandfather who bound together all the scattered Dojos of different Dragon styles and established it under the Dragon God style- the ultimate martial arts style that only two people in the past excluding him were able to practice. I wanted my grandson to become a great man like him. He was interested in observing things rather than sleep and I found it amusing the way he looked at things as if he was discerning every detail about them. On his second birthday, hearing Jane scream, I had a feeling of dread fill my heart. My mind kept going back to the day my wife died.

But thankfully nothing bad happened. Instead it was a good news, he was able to tell mama dada and even said sasa (Sasha) and when I went to him he surprisingly said papa. I think he was trying to call me Paul, but had settled down for papa. I didn’t mind it at all, in fact it made me very happy.
One day, Hans who was my disciple as well as the butler-bodyguard for Lee came to the council and informed that he had seen Lee absorbing Outer Ki while sleeping. We all knew what this meant, Lee was a genius who would be able to practice the Ultimate arts if he was nurtured properly.
I went to meet him in the evening and took him out to the garden, when I started reminiscing about my wife and felt sad, Lee snapped me out of it as if he knew I was sad. I then treated him to some ice-cream which became the routine for us for the years to come....

Robinson Crusoe (Completed)
Robinson Crusoe is a novel by Daniel Defoe, first published on 25 April 1719. The first edition credited the work's protagonist Robinson Crusoe as its author, leading many readers to believe he was a real person and the book a travelogue of true incidents. Epistolary, confessional, and didactic in form, the book is presented as an autobiography of the title character (whose birth name is Robinson Kreutznaer)-a castaway who spends twenty-eight years on a remote tropical desert island near Trinidad, encountering cannibals, captives, and mutineers, before ultimately being rescued.
