I know chimera type familiar eggs tend to be big as they have a very amorphous form through their evolution,.Normally at best they are the size of people, because they get bigger and more unstable as more creatures DNA are added. Familiars are mana beasts that are one of two types. Type one is a monster or mana beast tamed by force (kicking their ass till they are half dead and then putting mana in them by the taming skill or slavery spell) or by mana conditioning before their birth, by hatching eggs with your mana cycling through theirs or as soon as they're born putting mana into them slowly as you clean them. Type two is a contract that can be made by dragons, monsters, mana beasts, spirits, and devils can make giving some of their power or allowing you to summon them in return for something. The upside of type one taming is that you have complete control over your familiar and there is no real downside. Compared to Type two which the upside is that they give you some of the strength of the creature that you contracted and the downside that they are not under your control but equal partners. They both have rare skills, for Richt, there is Body Harden and Resonance, and for Nina all her abilities are rare. A quick explanation of the skills that aren't instantly identifiable are Resonance, it lets you take the mana and strength from one to boost the other (take his to further strengthen me) and rapidly drain stamina (both of us have infinite stamina making it so broken that even I am aware). Landscape Method allows you to instantly transfer anywhere within 14 meters while touching the ground using mana as fuel, and finally, Shadow Arts which is the ability to enter and move around in shadows and be able to use shadow magic. I tell the capabilities of Andria's chimera to her, while said chimera at the moment is the size of a house cat rubbing its face on hers while sitting on her shoulder. I'm curious about the feeling that makes me want to grab and throw it. "Isn't Nina cute? But she has really rare skills, so she's definitely a great draw." There are only two seats right beside each other...will this be okay? We sit down anyway, and the food is brought out. This time is apparently an orc fillet. The two of us don't need to eat but it helps with mana recovery and it is just pleasant to eat good tasting food with other people. Andria cuts apart a part of her fillet slowly leans over flashes a quick smile and says "Say Ahh" My cheeks heat up with my heart and redden a little. It's this, the legendary 'say ahh' treatment, it was something from every single romance novel ever according to 'my' memories. I blushed brighter the longer I thought about it. "If you don't want it I'll eat it." Instead of responding I jumped at it and ate it. After sitting for a minute the words " Here, say ahh" as put the fork in front of her with my hand keeping anything from dripping. "Oh my, why thank you." She acted surprised but it was clear that she was expecting it. Oh well, at least she seemed ecstatic anyway. Dinner continued with this interaction on repeat and ended in about twenty minutes. "We should go to bed early so we can go out early tomorrow." "Yeah, lets." We go upstairs into the... only room... with only a single bed. I immediately blush and say. ""I'll sleep on the floor."" ""No you sleep on the bed, I'll take the floor. "" We both thought the same thing so this goes on for a while. "How 'bout we both sleep on the only bed." Andria said while embarrassed. I knew we wouldn't get sleep if I refused but "Un" was all I could get out. Both of us were tired so we fell asleep quickly. It was probably a good thing because if we didn't we wouldn't get any sleep.
