Jack saw that the men were confused so he looked at Rex and said, “Tell them about me.”

Jack stepped back and Rex came forward, he cleared his throat and said in a loud voice, “Brothers, this is the person that will be leading us from now on. I have decided to follow him because I know that he will bring us to the heights that we never imagined. You 8 are the ones I trust very much so I hope that you will support me on this decision as well, if you don’t want to follow him then you can leave and nobody will stop you.”

The 8 men looked at each other as they didn’t know what to do; all of them began thinking for some time. Jack patiently waited for them to make a decision, if none of them joined him then there will be a problem but it won’t turn into a crisis.

The six men gathered together and made a group, they had made a same decision. The remaining two men were the young ones and they too had made decision, now all it was left was to hear what they had to say.

One middle aged man from the group stepped forward and said, “We won’t join you, it is our decision.”

Jack looked at the other five people and they all nodded, Jack wanted to kill them right now so that there won’t be problems but they were once brothers of Rex so he decided to let them leave for today.

Jack smiled and said, “You can go, the only one that stays here are my people.”

The six people began leaving, they were smiling and talking while they were going which annoyed Jack so he shouted, “The reason I am letting you go is because of your past friendship with Rex, don’t make the mistake of considering me a weak person. I also advise you stay at home and not join this business because the next time we cross path I will kill you.”

When the six men heard it they had an icy felling in their heart and goosebumps in their body, the reason they didn’t join is because they considered Jack to be too young to lead them. But after hearing Jack’s declaration some people regretted the decision and some just considered it as a bluff.

Jack then looked at the two men and asked, ‘What will you two do?”

“I will follow you sir.” A man wearing blue shirt and black pants shouted. He was around 6 feet tall and was very lean; he had black hair and brownish skin. He looked very ordinary and nothing in particular stood out.

“Your name” Jack asked.

“I am Gary.” Gary replied smiling.

“You look like a cheerful person; I don’t think that you fit here.” Jack said looking at him.

“If you can lead the gang then I think that I am at least capable of joining it.” Gary said with a serious face.

Although Jack didn’t like the tone of Gary he didn’t say anything, it was his mistake for teasing him and right now he needed every help that he can get.

Jack looked at the other man; the man had red hair which obviously was dyed and was around 5’8. He had brownish skin and had a dragon tattoo on his left hand; he was wearing black shirt and black pant. His body was fit and Jack felt that he will do something so he was cautious.

“What is your name?” Jack asked.

“You think you can just come and declare yourself the leader and everyone will accept.” The man sneered.

Rex came forward and shouted, “What are you saying Nick? Apologize right now.”

“I won’t, why should I?” Nick shouted.

Rex looked back at Jack and bowed, “I am sorry, please forgive him.”

“You know him.” Jack asked.

“He is my son; I didn’t think that he would do something like this.” Rex smiled warily; he feared that Jack would kill his son.

“Father, what are you...” Nick was about to speak but the glare from Rex stopped him.

Jack looked at Nick and said, “This isn’t your father’s gang anymore, if you don’t want to join you can leave.”

Nick looked at Rex but after seeing that his father didn’t say anything he left, Jack could sense the hatred emitting from Nick as he had the Dark magic. Jack knew that Nick will be a problem for him in the future so he looked at Rex and said.

“Send him somewhere far, with the anger he has he will cause me problems and I don’t dodge problems and move I eradicate them.”

Rex nodded and said, “I will send him somewhere far.”

After the short meeting they began preparing for the real meeting, there was still an hour left for the people to arrive so they sat down and began thinking on what to do.

“There are only four of us so it will be very difficult for us to find the betrayer.” Rex said worriedly.

Jack shook his head and said, “My plan was to find the betrayer and after killing them use the others to advance forward but now this isn’t possible.”

“So what will you do now?” Eve asked.

“I don’t know I will need some time to think of this.” Jack sighed.

He looked at Rex and Gary but they shook their head indicating that the also don’t know what to do.

Eve looked at Jack and said, “Why don’t you start from the scratch? It will be easier than trying to control these people.”

After listening to Eve, Jack thought for a while and considered the idea. Rex’s people were not loyal and it will be hard to gain their trust so it is better to find new people, Jack decided to start a new gang.

“Thank you Eve, you helped me here.” Jack smiled.

Eve was happy that she was useful to Jack, when she was in national security they used the same method. If a leader didn’t like a group then he could always disband and make a new group to his liking.

“When the people come, tell them that you are disbanding the gang.” Jack said to Rex.

After an hour many people arrived and they were taken to a room. Jack counted all of them and there were 25 people, 18 were men and 7 were women. Jack and Eve were next door and they could see everything happening at the meeting, Rex and Gary whereas were preparing for the speech.

After everyone settled down and the noises stopped, Rex stepped forward and spoke loudly, “Ladies and Gentlemen, you know that we are facing a very serious crisis. We are being attacked and I was even forced to close the club, I am an old man now and I can’t take it anymore so today here and now I disband this gang.”

After the speech everyone was restless and the noises started increasing, the women were the most worried among them. They were prostitutes and were reaching middle age; they won’t get taken in by any club at this age. Rex treated them well and they loved the club as well but if Rex leaves the group then they will have nowhere to go. Many men started leaving and within few minutes the room was empty, the only people remaining were 4 men and the 7 women.

Rex looked at them and said, “What do you guys want?”

Before the women could speak the 4 men took out their gun and pointed at Rex, the women were afraid and wanted to run but when they saw one man pointing a gun towards them they stopped. After Jack saw what was happening he took out his gun, Eve was also provided a gun earlier so she too took out the gun.

“What are you doing?” Rex stepped back and shouted.

“Don’t move or else you will die without even knowing why?” One man said.

Jack and Eve had left their hiding room and were slowly approaching; they walked without making any noise. The door of the meeting room was opened so it was easier for them to enter inside; the four men had their back turned towards the door so Jack and Eve didn’t have any difficulty approaching them. The 7 women did notice that two men approaching but they stayed quiet; Jack signaled Eve and they both fired the gun at the same time killing two people. Before the remaining two men could react they were shot but the shot wasn’t fatal so they didn’t die, they fell down on the floor but they still had guns in their hand so Jack and Eve quickly jumped and took their guns.

Jack had fired the gun at the stomach so the man was bleeding very much, if not sent to the hospital he would die.

“Save me.” The man cried in pain.

“If you answer my questions I will save you, I promise.” Jack knelt down.

“I... I will tell you everything.” The man nodded.

“Who sent you to kill Rex?” Jack asked.

“The Sky Gang, they paid us to kill him.” The man said while breathing heavily.

Jack looked at Rex and asked, “Is there such gang?”

“There is.’ Rex nodded.

Jack looked at the man and smiled, “I will save you from the pain.”

Jack shot the man in the head and killed him; he then shot another man and killed him as well.

Jack looked at the 7 women who were looking at him in fear; he sighed and said, “What should I do with you people?”
