After eating breakfast me and dad were finally ready to go out. I wondered why they couldn't just let me outside alone to play around the house but soon i found out. Someone was coming. And it looked like me and dad can't be seen.So for now my plan of controlling dad with the ribbon might have to wait. I don't want to make any trouble. Neither for me nor mom and dad.

Also this outside trip might be good for me to cultivate a bit or should i wait until i awaken first? If i try to cultivate prematurely i might mess something up. If i remember right vampires are supposed to wait for their awakening so i might as well wait.

-Mom: Ohhh sweetie you look so cute in those cloths.

* I wish this house had an mirror so that i could see myself*

-Mom: Come here sweetie.

Mom calls me to come with her to the kitchen.

* What is it now? Hope it's not another warning about the ribbon*

When i walked into the kitchen mom suddenly tells me to sit down. After telling me to sit down she goes over to the bookshelf and uses what seems to be low grade telekinesis to bring down the small wooden box that atop the bookshelf. After that she sits in the chair near me and puts the wooden box on the table.

-Mom: Now listen closely sweetie. What i am about to give is something very important. So do not lose it.-

After telling me that she opens the box and takes out a small dagger. The dagger seems to be about 20 cm small. A very small dagger * Perfect for my age* . The dagger looks strange. It almost resembles a soul weapon. It looks like it's made out of iron and has red lines going down the blade.

* A low ranked megical weapon?*

-Me: Mommy what's that?-

-Mom: This is something that's going to protect you if you find yourself in any kind of danger sweetie. The dagger is something that's called a magical tool and if something happens to daddy while you're out there be sure to pull the ribbon and wait for me. And while i'm coming if something was to attack you sweetie you just take this dagger out and point it right at it. It should be able to shoot around 20 primary mage ranked fireballs. So don't use it unless it's an emergency. Got that sweetie?-

Somethings fishy. First me and dad can't meet this person that mom is going to meet, then the ribbon with tracer magic on it and then an magical weapon. I have a bad feeling about this.

Thought i also don't like the lack of information on the weapon but from the looks of it at most it's a middle ranked magical tool that's only able to shoot 20 low ranked fireballs.

While i was sitting there thinking it seemed that mom noticed my worries and said.

-Mom: Don't worry sweetie nothing is going to happen, you have dad with you.-

-Me: But mommy what are you going to do while me and daddy are away?-

-Mom: Mommy has to do something very important sweetie. Something that you and daddy can't help mommy with so it's better that you go outside with daddy for a bit. I promise it won't take long. You won't see mommy for two days that's all.-

Tch. No answers. Not feeling any better. Why does my first trip out side have to be like this? Whatever, i'll leave some of my void Rai here. If there was to be any blood the Rai will react to it.

-Mom: Now sweetie about what i said earlier, do not use the dagger unless it's an emergency otherwise you might put the forest on fire.-

-Me: Yes mommy, i promise not to use is unless it's an emergency.-

After that she leans forward and puts the dagger in my belt then she raises her head and stares into my eyes. After staring into my eyes for a couple of seconds she gives me a warm smile and leans forth to give me a light kiss on my forehead.

-Mom: That's my boy. Now go daddy is waiting for you.-

As i get of my chair i release my void Rai everywhere. Even though i am unable to use it's power right now i can at least use it as a alert system if something was to happen to mom.

Sadly i only have a tiny bit Rai attached to my soul from being in the void for such a long time. The amount i have is just enough to cast this spell.

-Dad: Ya ready? Be sure not to forget anything.-

-Me: Don't worry dad. Mom helped me pack.-

-Dad: If you say so.

Shortly after me and my dad set out into the forest. But as we leave my uneasy feeling doesn't leave me. My old habit

of being overprotective of those close to me is still strong i see.

Walking trough the forest there was nothing wrong. The forest looks normal. After walking for about 2 hours to hours no monsters appeared. Which made me wonder, when my dad looks for food he find monsters within minutes. Does he have some kind of a skill that shows where the monsters are at? If i could use my darkness i would be able to sense anything that is within the dark on this whole planet, but that's not the case. I'm unable to use the darkness nor void to detect my enemies right now. So i should probably figure out what this skill is, asking might seem weird, Especially if the question is coming from a four year old.

After going for another hour i received something.

+2 Stamina

I barely received any stamina during my sword training that because i don't have the body that i can push to my limit, basically moving on your feet gives you stamina much easier. I regret not practicing stances now. Those involve a lot of movement.

I also noticed something. When me and dad were taking an break i closely inspected dad. And noticed that sometimes suddenly he would look towards a random direction. I figured that he noticed something moving.

* Is it the wind?*

Wind can also be used as detection but as far as i know my father doesn't have that high knowledge of the wind if i remember wind detection would need much higher rank then warrior. Is it the blood thirst? But that would be impossible. I'm 500% sure that i would notice it better then anyone. Is he spreading out his qi? Nope i would notice that too. Sadly mana and qi detection are still a nope for me because i have a very low amount of them in my body at the moment and i used up all of my rai and i won't gain any rai for at least ten or so years, i need higher cultivation for that.

But what gave me the biggest hint was when we started walking again. Dad would only turn his head and look at an direction after he took a step. Only one thing came to my mind then. It's earth! Not magic, but simply a honed skill. Dad is using the waves from the earth to detect other things. It's simple. Why haven't thought about it before. I'm so stupid.. In my past life i didn't need such a skill since it had some flows and why would i use the lowest of the low when i had the highest? You can't detect anything that flies or something that moves very carefully.

Now that i have figured it out all that's left is to learn it. It shouldn't be that hard. The concept behind it is very easy. Every time something touches the earth is leaves a impact, and that impact sends out waves through the earth. Very easy indeed. I'm pretty sure most people would have it. But i don't think any high ranked people have it since there are many more detection skill/spells with almost no flows.

WAIT!?!?! Even skills work like that? Then does magic to? So if i figure out the concept of something i will be able to gain the skill. This is perfect!

I will use these two days in the forest to it's full extend!
