" Alright Solo, Magic is alot about image as well as the flow and release of Mana, meaning in order to use barrier magic you have to start visualize the strongest type of barrier you can. After that start letting you Mana flow and the way that feels most natural is the way you will start with this practice. Now when I say visualize a barrier you dont have to picture a clear square floating thing it can be in any shape or density, but remeber K.I.S.S a.k.a keep it simple stupid. "

In Solomons Room

' Lets see master said to picture anything that can be used as a shield. We didnt really use shields much in the military so I guess Ill just have to imagine something from early warring periods. A roman shield will probably work. Ill try those tall front line shields and then move one from there. '

Solomon spent around an hour trying to make a front line sheild like those used by romans. After an hour he still couldnt make one so he just moved on to a parma sized sheild. He was able to make a parma sized sheild with relative ease. When he actually completed making a barrier, he decided to start revising the process he used to make it. He had a few ideas to make the process smoother but he decided to ask his master before he started experimenting.

He spent around seven minutes trying to find his master before he was able to actually find him. He found Aopara lounging in the clearing outside of the cave.

" Master I have a question I would like to ask. "

" Alright so Master I finally got a small barrier conjured a few minutes ago and I was revising the flow of Mana and I found a few spots that I think would improve the speed, but I figured I should ask you just in case anything dangerous could happen. "

" Hahaha perfect I was hoping that you would ask but most people I have taught dont. Anyway yes you should go along and make improvements to the flow of Mana since the most natural way is not the best way. But keep in mind not all changes are good changes all you have to do is test and revise and eventually you will get what works best for you, which is what matters most. Thats another thing whenever you get an inheritance Do Not follow the instructions perfectly unless told otherwise, the reason being is that you need to make techniques yours, alright? "

It took Solomon a few hours before he was able to shorten the casting time to thirty seconds. He figured that such hardcore practice should be done only occasionally and that he should take a break. So Solomon went to the kitchen to get some food. When he got there he found Loretta cooking something, he didnt know what, that smelles amazing.

" Hey Loretta watcha doin? "

" Hey Solo I am just taking a break from training and figured I would cook some meat and vegetables. "

" Oh nice would you mind cooking some for me. I would do my own but I am only a month old and nothing in my DNA Memories about cooking. "

" Sure wait a bit and it will be done. "

Thirty minutes of good smells and talking later and Loretta finally finished cooking the food.

" WOW that is good I didnt think it would be so good. It is worth marrying you just for your cooking skills let alone all your other odvious perks. "

" Hehe thanks but this is natural, Master has great ingredients and you naturally pick up some skills after living a few hundred years. And what do you mean odvious perks. "

" Well I mean you are talented, pretty, hard working, you can cook and who knows what other good things there are about you. those are the ones I have noticed after knowing you for a few days. "

" Thanks Loretta, how about after we eat we do some body tempering using my Tribulation Lightning on you? "

" Sounds great I cant wait, but I want Master to watch us to make sure nothing goes wrong."

5 minutes later outside the waterfall.

While Loretta was tempering her body Solomon was appreciating the beauty of his lightning strikes. His tribulation lightning consists of three colors for tempering and three different colors for attacking. Solomons tempering lightning is a magical mix of gold, cobalt blue, and violet they all compine together like three birds playing together in the air. His attacking lightning is a dark gold, deathly crimson, and magenta

all three of which seem like the fight for supremecy. The first time Solomon ever tested out his lightning was on his father, Han, and neither types of lightning actually affected him. Solomon hopes to be able to temper his parents bodies one day.

Oh man I am so pumped, God I hope this works I have stagnated on my stats for awhile. Unless I am fighting hundreds if not thousands of equal level beasts just to raise a few stats points or even raise a level. Of couse I could fight higher level beasts for a better result but there arent many I can fight evenly and most that I could handle run away and hide. I just hope this works, plleeeaaaassssseeeeee!

After a few round of lightning Aopara tells Solomon to let up and give Lorettas body a chance to catch up and settle. As the dust settles Solo calls out to Loretta.

" So Loretta can your stats raise infinetly per level or is there a cap/ limit? "

" Well there has never been an instance of a limit being reached but it can be assumed that there is a limit. Although that limit would lower and raise with each level. "

" Why lower and raise? "

" As you know every being has a set amount of potential when they are born, right? "

" Yep. "

" Well there are two main ways to raise that potential limit. Those methods are rare and precious materials and leveling up. Of course there are some beings born with an unnaturally high limit such as us and other Legendary Beasts. "
