《And then I made my own world》The 9th Try: From the beginning!

I could tell you about how I repeated the process from before, placing the seedlings of my plant and animal categories on a newly created planet, but...nah.
Suffice to say I tried adding several planets to a single sun, but...yes, fortunately I let it go on a test run for about a billion years - fast forward, obviously - because those types of planets influence each other a lot if they're close and one day everything goes BAM!
I'd hate for that to happen on my next world. I admit, I gave up on the idea of several planets in the green zone. But!!! What did work was a strange construction of three planes that go around each other on a complicated path while at the same time making their way around the sun.
It admittedly gives me an intresting weather with regular ice ages and no regular seasons I can see, but...that just makes the whole thing more fun!
Anyway, where was I?
Oh yes, I planted loads of seeds on those three planets and then just let them run for a good, long while. Like, a couple billion years, without my interference.
What I got were these three:
Planet: Skybridge
The largest of the triplet planets, consisting of 60% Water, 26% Desert, 10% Green Coastregions, 4% Oasis
Temerature: Day: on average 37°C, Nighttime: on average -20°C
Seasons: no clearly defined seasons, tends to have irregular rainy and dry seasons
Plants (surface): two general types, one which grows and bears fruit or seeds during rainy times while staying dormand as a seed in dry times. This type also appears around the coasts and in most Oasis (how do you write Oasis plural????). The second type resembles cacti and can be found almost anywhere.
Plants (water): Abundant species can be found in nearly any water source. The types number in the billions.

Other life: All animal types evolved from one kind of water organism. Pure land animals do not exist, although several kinds are capable of surviving on the surface for several weeks by digging into the sand during the night. However heat stroke is a danger during the day. Many Insects are capable of surviving in moist sand or as parasites in cacti indefinitely.
By the way, by the time I noticed I forgot about salt in the sea and things like, oh, iron or jewels in the earth it was kind of too late. But hey, I'm god here! So, well, now there are trees with nuts made of gold and such things, too...Tehee...
Money does grow on trees in those worlds.
The other two were one with 80% Water - It was the smallest and had lots of vulcanoes, but also very lively islands everywhere! It was kind of like loads of tiny rain forests and there was life everywhere! - and one that resembled our earth a bit...but the seasons were a complete mess. Ice ages followed by eternal summer that turned everything into desert and everything in between without sense or reason. Plants still survived there somehow, but animals tended to either spread explosively or die off because I set the reproduction and mutation rates really high there. Life there died off several times before I got it high enough - and allowed them enough power... Now it's a world of little dragons and firebirds that mostly survive on magic.
Oh, yes - I made an energy that's produced by tiny plant organisms in the atmosphere as a waste product and called it magic! The energy is a bit like electricity and the animals would be computers. Built from matter and run by magic. Honestly, with modern computers and what they can do...that's basically all magic to me anyways.
Just look at this Hacker dude's game!

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
