As jack turns toward the door to open it he sees the scout standing in front of the door not moving at all, 'are you, ok scout?'.

As the scout mumbles something that could not be explained he drops down to the ground as blood comes from his mouth, meanwhile I who was still inside the house could hear an explosion and screaming from outside, as we all rushed outside we saw Jack who was yelling at us to help the scout inside, as guard pass the house very quickly toward the main gate, one of the guards stops for a second yelling toward us to 'get inside we are under attack'.

As another explosion goes off from far away, the guard rushes after the others, as more screams came from the main gate, we rush the scout inside the house, as we notice an arrow in the back of the scout, Jack instantly would rip it out, noticing it was dozed in poison, as he tells the scout who's name was Richard that it all will be ok, as the scout looks at Jack telling him 'you were always a bad liar' as the light disappears from the eyes of the scout, Jack closes the scout eyes, 'he is dead'.

-Meanwhile at the gate-

Two guards are surrounded by corpses of bandits and guards alike.

Guard: Argh!... There are too many!

Guard2: We can not give up! Push them back!

the guards did not give up charging the enemy straight on with their last breath they both rushed toward the bandits

Guard: Yrahhhh!!! *Zoof*

Guard2: Gaaah!! *Zoof*

Both guards were killed, there was a hand full of guards still fighting around the gate, they requested reinforcements from the nearby towns against the bandits, but for now, they were against them all alone.

-Back at The Shadow Hunters hideout-

We should aid the guards at the gate, Jack who were already gearing up agreed, as they all took their weapons and gear before rushing to the gate, they tell me to stay put.
