Chapter 7: Blue Dragon City
After a few days the green clad man and the caught demon girl finally got to see a city. It was a medium sized demon city called Blue Dragon City having something around 500.000 demons inhabiting it.
The name Blue Dragon City came from the clan that established it and became the number one clan in the city. The city was ruled by the city lord but since he was also a descendant of the Blue Dragon Clan you could say that the city was in the hand of this clan.
Even though it's the city lord that rules over the city, he had to obey the ruler of the country it was in. The earth as it was now had 5 nations with their respecting rulers dividing it.
Blue Dragon city was located in the Cers Kingdom that had the northern America as its territory. It was ruled by the Kun Clan, a clan of Qulintype demons. The Kun Clans specialty was its movement technique that allowed them to practically avoid every attack of someone that is two stages higher then themselves.
It was seen as the weakest nation, having only a few hundred Immortals and at most 5 deities. Even like this, not one of the other countries dared to attack them. That was because of a rumor that said they have an expert exceeding the Deity stage.
One had to now that in the whole Blue Dragon City, there were only about 6 or 7 nascentstage cultivators. That was already considered good. After the nascentstage there was the Immortal stage. Even in the 5 biggest city of the Cers Kingdom you would seldom find more than 6 Immortals. Most immortals trained in desolated areas in order to not be distracted and would seldom come to cities.

Experts of the deity realm were so seldom found, that even in the capitals of stronger nations, there would be only one to guard the royal family.
Beings that exceed the Deity stage. There were no confirmed records of such beings in this realm.
In the realm they came from, beings of the Deity stage weren't that rare. Every bigger clan would have a few of them but these clans had deep roots and didn't participated in ascending into an unknown realm.
In reality, most of the demons and clans that came into this realm were of low standing in their realm and had tried to find their luck in another realm, resulting in a lack in strong cultivators in this realm.
The green clad man entered the city through the main gate and quickly got to a lively street. Some kids were playing with balls or puppets and you could hear floating business.
The houses were built in Asian style and the people also mostly wore Asian style robes.
There were many different people that were going around and buying or selling things at little shops.
These shops could be tables with goods or sometimes only blankets pinned down by some stones.
The man didn't stop but flew further and soon entered another area.
This area was even livelier than the street before. But there were no more little shops but many restaurants and inns, and also some stores that sold more expensive things.
The man headed straight to an inn called Mince tea (yup, the name is somehow strange but I have no idea what name would be suitable for an inn).
As he head in, there were some tables and chair with a few people sitting and enjoying their meal or just conversation there. On the other side of the room there was a counter with an ugly old man sitting there (just didn't wanted to use a cliché beautiful lady).

The green clad man headed over to the counter and asked for a room.
The ugly old man that somehow looked like a crossbred of a zombie and a frog looked first at him, and then at the demon girl in her cage floating behind him.
„Has it really become that bad, that you have to catch the girls you want to sleep with. “
The girl started laughing and green clad man’s face distorted.
„Old man do you really have to make this joke every time I come? “
„Kel, my boy, don't be like this. I know you have always been jealous of my appearance because of your ugliness but there is no need to feel attacked because of a small joke. “
The girl in her cage started to laugh even louder and Kal's face became even darker.
„ Oh, just shut up. Are you giving me a room or not? “
The old man became serious.
„Ok, here is the key but first tell me what have you caught this time? “
As Kal took key he calmed down and looked back at the girl in the cage. The girl just turned her head and refused to look into his eyes.
„Oh, yeah. This time’s catch is quite nice. I can't tell you the specifics but I will earn quite sum of money with her. “
„So are you planning to sell her at the marked tomorrow? “
„Yup but now let me go, I want to get some sleep. “
„You know the way. “
With this they ended their conversation and Kal headed upstairs to his room.
Short time after that, he was sleeping in his bed while the demon girl sat inside the cage thinking about her future.
She would be sold to some rich descendant of a powerful clan as a pet. Without any freedom she would have to serve him for the rest of her life and then die in the flow of time.
As she thought of this once again tears started to flow down her cheeks.
Suddenly she heard the shatter of the window and a powerful wind blew inside the room.
„Finally found you.....“

All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
