《Dao of Emperor》Chapter 33: Kawai

Ok guy's, I'm officially back from my class trip and I hope that I can resume my daily chapter pace again. For now I will keep this style, I hope you don't mind it. For thus that asked about the mature content and the fact, that demons are spiritual animals, there will be sex scenes and so on, but it will come in the future. Mature content is only a side aspect of this novel. As for the animal form of the girls. Demons have a habit to hide the fact that they were originally animals, so they don't like showing their "animal" form. They are ashamed of being naked, but their "animal form" has to do with their pride as demons. It affects them much more then just being naked. That's all, hope I could help you understand the story. Enjoy!
Chapter 33 Kawaii
Maaran looked at him blankly.
"My name is Zes Bloed. I'm from Düsseldorf, Germany. And also I'm the one who rules this city."
Everything Zes said only let Maaran's mouth open. A human that can cultivate…he rules the city? Just how unrealistic could it become? He would rather believe him that he was the concubine of that gay city lord than that a human could become the ruler of a city consisting of demons.
"I know that you probably do not believe me but I swear towards the great daos, that I'm a human and the ruler of this city."
Even Maaran knew that once one swore on the great daos, it would result in death if one lies or breaks his promise. So the fact that Zes swore to the great daos and was not killed by the daos meant, that he had spoken the truth. It showed that this man before him was truly a human and also ruled over this city of demons.

Tears entered Maaran’s eyes as he realized that his life as a slave, as a being even lower than ant on the ground had come to an end. Humanity would once again rise under the hands of this man before him and he would be able to live his life as he wanted to do.
Out of an impulse Maaran fell on his knees and said.
"I will swear here and now that I will help you revive humanity even if it costs my life. I will not stop until humanity has gotten its freedom and every human can live the life he wants."
You are probably wondering why he did not wanted revenge on the demons that had brought him into the situation he was in. That was because even though he was made a slave by the demons, there were some demons that helped him. Servants that grew to like him and gave him advises or helped him out on occasions.
He knew that there were many demons that were despising them and wanted to kill them. But he also knew that there were some that felt their suffering and tried to help them somehow. Because of this few demons, he could not bring himself to hate demon kind.
Zes nodded. He admired Maaran that had suffered under the demons much more than he had and still did not demand cruel revenge. Such men was what he searched for. Men that would fight, men that would sacrifice their lives but also men that would not blindly hate everything in the world. This was the type of human he admired and that he would be prided to call his friends.
"I shall give you a cultivation technique suited for humans. Also you can choose a room in this mansion as your own to use. Furthermore, you can give instructions to the servants of this mansion."

His hand touched Maaran’s forehead and suddenly a cultivation technique along with knowledge regarding the daos and the cultivation world appeared in Maaran's mind. He immediately understood everything regarding Zes, the path of immortals and the chance they had as they knew things the demons could not even dream about.
"I will not give you a dao since it's better for you to find your own way of immortal. As long as you do not forget about our, humanity's legacy, it should be easy for you to do so."
Maaran nodded approvingly. The memories in his head told him the same and so he did not doubted Zes words. After that Maaran looked around the room and he finally noticed Reis, Zoe and Les. Yes, until now he was so focused on Zes that he had not even noticed them.
"Uh… just who are those beauties? I can tell that they are demons but in what relation are they to us?"
Zes wanted to answer but the girls hooked onto his arms and showed their collars.
"We are his pets. I'm a descendant of the Jerna clan, while my two sisters are the daughters of the city lord."
"The gay one?"
Zes couldn't hold his laughter.
"So it even reached the normal population hmm? But yes, the two of them Zoe and Les are Gay Bluedragon's daughters and Reis is a descendant of the Jerna clan."
Suddenly Reis seemed to have remembered something.
"Ah, there was still something else…"
Les and Zoe turned red and embarrassingly said.
"But he has to go out before we show you."
Zes nodded and apologizing looked to Maaran. The later just shrugged his shoulders and went into his room. After Maaran had left, Zoe and Les calmed down a bit.
"Ähm, Zes could you turn around for a second?"
Zes turned around and pondered just what the girls had bought, for them to react like this. After a few minutes the voice of Zoe sounded in his ears.
"Ok, you can turn around now."
As Zes turned around, he almost fainted. The view before him was just too much for him to be able to take it.
The three girls wore a transparent cloth as top and a similar cloth as a skirt. Both of them were loosely bound together and seemed to be very delicate. You could almost see everything of their bodies and their twin peaks firmly pushed against the cloth. But that was not the most important.
On Reis’s head you could see a pair of cute fox ears and on the back there was a fox tail swinging around. All played together and created a cute image of Reis. These alone was almost enough to let Zes lose his reasoning. But that was not all. Les and Zoe had delicate little blue horns on their heads. Small blue scales could be seen at the body of them and all together also looked so cute that every real otaku of the world would faint from crying out the word kawaiiiiiiiiiiiii.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
