Random story of a human cultivator
The man ran through the dark streets of the city. On the left and on the right houses in Chinese style formed this dark street only illuminated by the light of the moon. The breath of the man formed white dust in the air and you could hear the ice crushed under his feet. Despite the cold, the man only wore a light robe and walked barefoot through the ice and snow on the street. He did not seem to even realize that it was freezing cold.
He left the dark street and got onto a street filled with bustling life. People going in pairs or alone, laughing, chatting. Restaurants with the finest food, clubs and teahouses with the most beautiful ladies. All this made an extreme difference to the silent and dark street from before.
But the people going and chatting also only wore light clothes and at most wooden sandals. They too ,did not seam to care about the cold at all. Just passing the street with its dazzling lights and fine restaurants and entering another street with other restaurants and clubs.
The man did not bother to stop, as he made his way through the crowd and managed to enter a restaurant on the other side of the street. The attendant was not surprised in the least to see his attire, as all the other customers wore the same or similar clothes as him. He quickly brought the man to a free table and then left to get him some booze, the man immediately ordered.

He looked around the room, more importantly he let his divine sense spread through the restaurant. He instantly found a few corestage cultivators and a nascentstage cultivator sitting together at one table.
The man frowned, it was unusual to find a nascent cultivator visit such a place in a city that big. After all nascent cultivators were viewed as expert in this city and had considerable influence. But he found a nascent stage cultivator as soon as he entered the city. Was that a coincident?
As he though about that, the attendant came with the booze he had ordered. The attendant was a beautiful demon, looking like a flower. She had long black hair and eyes that seemed to suck in everything they touched.
The man took the booze and slowly started drinking it. He felt the burning in his throat. The booze had quite the alcohol content. It had a pleasing taste, not to bitter nor without any taste. This shop was known because of this booze and the man also came here in order to enjoy it's taste.
While drinking he thought about many things. Things regarding himself, this city and everyone inhabiting it. It's been quite some time since he came here. It's also been some time since the first humans started to live here in Bluedragon City and peacefully coexist with the demons.
All of this was made possible because of one person. A lunatic, that tried to change everything. And the most astonishing was, that he was actually able to change something. He stopped the hunt on humans and made peace between demons and humans.
The man realized, that he had no more booze in his cup and pondered if he should get himself some more. Na, he sad himself. Let's not waste money today. He slowly stood up, left behind some money on the table and left the restaurant.

On the street he once again felt the cold of the night and the snow under his bare foot. Even so he did not felt cold the slightest. It was the opposite. He felt warm inside. This was Bluedragon City. His home and he knew, that it would always be his home.
He rushed back to the other side of the street. There he turned back and looked at the lights and the nightlife of this city he called his home. A smile appeared on his lips and he backed away, disappearing in the darkness of the street.

The Dawnfire Archives
It begins in the endless wastes, with an unknown man arriving at the bottom of the tallest mountain in existence. A mysterious voice provides few directions, bringing more questions than answers. Regardless, after choosing a name and weapon... the man begins to climb. He will not be alone on this journey. A young individual from a different reality has also made his way to The Climb. But what does their arrival bode for the people of this world? And where does climbing the mountain truly lead? This is my second novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the third being "The Card Thief of Culnivar". This story is much more GameLIT than Xianxia, and takes place in a different setting with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.
