Chapter 37 Pinia
Zes did not really know what to do with the current atmosphere. He had asked the girls out of curiosity without even thinking about it. But now he had a small problem as the whole city of Bluedragon city had clearly heard and probably understood what he was talking about. Suddenly a laughter sounded from behind. Gay stood up and walked towards Zes.
"So you have finally done it, hmm? I was wondering why you were taking so long. Rather I was worrying that you could have changed sexual orientation."
This startled all the demons present. The old city lord was speaking like this to Zes? Wasn't it too un-respectful? But Zes did not mind it but just wryly smiled.
"You have to speak GAY?"
The smile on Gay's face vanished but the other patriarchs now too stood up and also went towards Zes.
"Master, we congratulate on your first time…"
Zes just blankly stared at them and the girls faces grew even redder. Now they really looked like tomatoes ready to be eaten. He awkwardly sighed and then tried to change the theme.
"Well, just stand up you all, also you can just call me Zes, I'm not fond of the title master, you know? Also I guess it's settled now, right? Then take your clansmen back and handle the rest regarding the repayments. I will also go back if you need me, pn ok?"
"Ok, but … what's pn?"
Zes has forgotten that demons had no idea of modern communication.
"Just contact my through divine sense, ok?"
With that he left followed by Reis, Les and Zoe. The crowd of demons also quickly disappeared as the patriarchs took their clan members with them to discuss the rest.

Capital of Cers Kingdom Violet Moon city
Several people were sitting inside a room of about 20 square meters and almost all of them radiated the powerful aura of deity stage experts. A stage that was seen as the highest in this realm. The elder man clothed in pitch black clothes was also present as well as the young woman. Other than them, there were five other people in this room.
A middle aged man wearing a golden gown stepped forward and spoke to the pitch black clothed elder.
"Second elder, why have you called us together? Could there really have happened something that would need the attention of this council?"
The pitch black clothed elder that seemed to be called second elder replied politely.
"There is. I am the elder in charge to look over our kingdoms territory. A few hours ago I have felt a powerful presence somewhere in the giant mountain rage. Also I have reports of a horrible roar that came from its direction reaching over 100.000 kilometers. It was powerful enough to let a few city walls near to the mountain range collapse just like this. Because of this, your majesty I have called you all together. An existence like this could be a threat to us."
The golden wearing man that the second elder called majesty was in fact the king of Cers kingdom. Even so, he was not the most powerful being inside of it. Even though he was the king but he still had to be polite to the elders of the Kun clan, the royal clan of Cers Kingdom. But the strongest being in the Kingdom having a higher standing than the king and the elders was the patriarch of the Kun clan. He was told to be an expert transcending the deity stage and actually no one in this realm was willing to offend him.

"Do you know where the presence is right know?"
The king nonchalantly asked.
"I have spotted it in a city called Bluedragon city. It's a second class city with about 6 nascent stage experts. It's ruled by a clan called Bluedragon clan."
Another person intervened.
"Then we should immediately send someone in order to check out his intention. We cannot leave a potential danger for us inside of the kingdom just like that."
The person who said that was an elderly woman also being on the deity stage. The king slowly nodded.
"You are right third elder. But who would you send there? Do you have someone in mind?"
The third elder smiled. It was obvious that she intervened just because she wanted to send a special person there. She nodded and pointed to the young woman next to the second elder (the one from the chapter he first appeared).
"I'm recommending princess Pinia. She has long since reached the late immortal stage and I expect her to break through quite soon. It would be a good experience and she should be able to cope with it. Even if she can't beat that person, she should be able to get away."
The king pondered for a bid. She was after all his own daughter. Pinia herself was still standing next to the second elder seeming calm. But inside of her mind she thanked her master for this opportunity. Her master was the third elder and she had deliberately given Pinia this mission in order to let her experience the world. That's because Pinia had never even left the capital before. Her father was very protective of her and did not want her to go off and get into danger. But now she was immortal stage and almost deity stage. There were few that would be able to injure her now.
Also an elder herself had proposed this and even if her father was the king if confronted by an elder even he had to bow his head. Coupled with the fact that she truly was strong enough to easily complete this mission, there was nothing her father could say against it.
After a long time of silence the king finally reluctantly said.
"… You are right third elder. Princess Pinia will be the one to scout out this mysterious presence."
He turned to his daughter and his voice became softer.
"You will immediately travel to Bluedragon city and determine who or what this presence belongs to. But be careful and if the presence is an enemy and you cannot fight it, you have to directly flee without caring for the consequence ok?"
Pinia knew that her father was just worried for her and lightly smiled.
"It's ok father. If it is really an enemy and I cannot fight it, I will instantly come back here."
The king finally calmed down. He ended the council and the members soon went their own ways. Excitement rose in Pinia’s heart. She quickly followed her master, the third elder and exited the room together. Walking through the hall, her master quickly gave her a few protective treasures and a talisman she could use to contact her master. Then they too parted ways.
Pinia floated off heading towards Bluedragon city.

I'm also using this story to better develop lore that extends far beyond it. ] Thanks to another exceptionally talented artist, Hiroeth, Blightbane now has an official cover! Vera was alone again. “You’re completely unprepared. Never before has sending one of you off made me feel quite so guilty.” Whenever she found herself in doubt, she would weigh her actions against the guiding principles of the one whom she revered. “When you don’t know the rules of the game, start making them up. When you are constrained by unfavorable conditions, inject a little chaos.” It was the supplementary message that concerned Vera the most. It was difficult to follow because it was intentionally vague and mired in subjectivity. “How can I enjoy myself when you look so tormented? Are we in danger?” Vera fell silent. An experiment is taking place on a planetary scale. Across the surface of the planet, a phenomenon referred to as "Blight" is spreading. Festering regions defended by fierce creatures called “blightbeasts” taint the surface, warping the land and proliferating unceasingly. Among the sentient creatures of the planet, it is the Blightbane Guild’s responsibility to stem the tide. They endeavor to cleanse the land in a struggle of attrition, but they are losing ground. A young man named Caim has been uprooted from his former life and transported to The Shrouded Theocracy, an isolationist nation with fanatical policies. He must struggle to survive with only an unfamiliar strain of magic to aid him. There is a secret to this magic. One he knows very little about. He intends to explore just what makes this magic special. On the far border of the theocracy, a mage scientist named Inis discovers a revolutionary new way to infuse strength from defeated blightbeasts. Using herself as a test subject, this process allows her to grasp magical concepts previously thought beyond her reach. Though she tries to document any side effects that arise, something escapes her awareness. She is playing with a dangerous force that will claim her most treasured asset if she isn't careful. Everyone and everything on the planet is a part of the experiment. The experiment is a lie.
