Hi guys. I have a very bad day. My family problems have finally comen to an end. That means that a close relative of mine has died this morning. Because of this, there might be no chapter tomorrow and there will definatly be no on friday as I have to go to his furneral.
I just want to say, that I dedicate this chapter to my relative that has died. (Well the later half of it, as the first half was already done before)
Chapter 49 Cry
"… to make ourselves a harem!"
"….."
The girls were just surprised staring at him.
"Maaran has finally comprehended his dao, the dao of Harem. Fortunately I'm also able to use it and now we have decided to make ourselves harems that will serve us."
Pinia was the first one to recover.
"Um, masters don't you have already us? Or … are we unable to satisfy you?"
"That not the point. Of course I have you girls and that's enough to satisfy my carnal desire, but there is one dream every man has in his heart. The dream of all Men! It's to have a huge amount of naked girls serving you! And I'm not speaking about 10 or so girls. It has to be in hundreds!"
"Yes, Zes is right. If a man is able to make this dream true, there is nothing in life that would make him more satisfied!"
The girls could only stand and look at these two guys, raving about this 'dream of Manhood'. Except for Pinia, which had her eyes sparkling while coming closer to Zes.
"How many girls do you want? A hundred, two hundred or more? And, what are your requirements? And …"
An endless stream of questions streamed out of her mouth and attacked Zes and Maaran’s mind. The latter smiling wryly said to Zes.

"Seems there is someone even more excited about this."
Zes just rolled his eyes and nodded while grinning.
"Ok Pinia. From now on it's your job to gather some nice girls for us. Also you will be responsible for their accommodation. I will make you the Harem manager."
"Yes!!! You can count on me! I will certainly not betray your expectations!"
Pinia happily smiled and already seemed to make calculations.
"Now that this has been clarified, it's time to cultivate!"
The girls just bitterly smiled. They were long since used to this. If Zes wasn't eating, sleeping or toying with their bodies, he would cultivate. In fact almost all of his time was consisting of cultivation. Such a strong perseverance was seldom seen within the younger generations, as they would rather enjoy live after reaching a certain level and only after having experienced all of lives pleasures they would once again cultivate to higher realms.
But that was for normal people. After all, who else could easily say that he was shouldering future of a whole race? Even for Reis that had been following Zes for the longest time, it was hard to imagine just how much pressure was hidden under Zes playful and cheerful self.
In the end all of them sat down on separate boulders inside of the black bamboo forest and started to cultivate. Due to the overpowered effects of the Black Garden Paradise formation, the cultivation inside of the garden was 15 times as effective as to cultivate outside of the city. Even when compared to the city, it was about 5 times as effective.
While cultivating, all of them were enjoying the warm summer breeze swiftly blowing and the sound of the bamboo shivering. All of them slowly attained a special state of mind allowing them to forget everything around them. They all were feeling exceedingly comfortable and a sense of warmth appeared inside of their selves.

Zes himself quickly found himself inside of an empty void. Smilingly he thought to himself.
"So this is the famed state of selflessness.
Oh, well I guess it's not really that state as I'm still aware of myself. Guess this is just some rare state of mind hmm? Still, I am curious what might be inside of this void."
Carefree he started strolling inside of this void. For a long time, he saw nothing but the greyness of this empty void stretching god knows how far. There was absolutely nothing inside of it, only endless grey. Soon Zes began to suspect that there was really nothing inside of this void. But he still continued to slowly stroll through it. Even though it's said to be slow, there was no evidence that it was slow. It could have been quicker than sound but inside of this void there was no sense of speed, nor was there any indication of time passing.
After a seemingly endless period of time, that also could have been a moment, Zes finally found something inside of this endless sea of grey. A small orb of light was floating in the space like a lighthouse in a stormy grey sea.
Zes came nearer to the orb. Suddenly he had the feeling that he had to touch this strange round light. Without him intending to, his hand began to move. As he touched it, his whole body began to tremble. Before his eyes, a scene appeared.
Skyscrapers becoming rubble, people running around trying to save themselves. Hovering demons that were destroying the desperate police and military.
A huge skyscraper, his windows glittering in the sun starting to dangerously tremble. Then a boom and it fold away in itself. A huge cloud of dust is rising, covering the bodies of those that had been buried underneath it. Yells of desperation and sorrow echoing only to be over drowned by the sound of bodies pieced or smashed apart.
Zes face started to pale. Not because of the cruelness of this scene, nor because of the deaths of this humans. It was because he exactly remembered just what he was going to see now.
Before his opened eyes, he saw himself 10 years younger wandering through the chaotic streets. Then he saw how he reached the street he lived on. Tears started to roll down his cheeks as he desperately tried to look away. But no matter what he tried, he was unable to look away or close his eyes. He had no other choice but to watch what was going on.
His already trembling body only started to tremble even more. His eyes grew bloodshot and a gruesome expression crept on his face.
Then he saw the scene he never wanted to see again. The corpses of his mother and his brother lying in the dirty on the street, which was now tainted by the red shine of their blood. His father struggling with all his might. Tears in his face and a hate and resentment, Zes would never be able to forget. Finally the moment, when the blood sprayed on the ground and the headless corpse of his father fell to the ground.
A voiceless cry emerged out of his throat. Zes could do anything but cry. A cry despite being voiceless. It smashed violently against the formless void. The endless gray could not withstand this force that was somehow being exerted by Zes painful cry.
"AAAAHAAAAHAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhheaaaaaaah"
A cry shocking everyone to the core was echoing through the city making everyone unable to stop shuddering.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
