Ok, just wanted to clear up some things that you guys might have misunderstand.

First of all when Zes said that it would be peaceful for 50 years he was taking into acount that it would take the humans this long to cultivate to a level at that they could defend themselves. After all they have the bluedragon formation making their progress much better then on other places.

As for why he had left Reis, Zoe and Les behind, this was because he noticed that he had changed and did not want them to see him as the feelingless ice statue he was at that time. So he calculated that it would take them about 100years to reach the stage he was at and become able to ascend. At that time he was going to meet them again and ascent together with him. After this he took maaran to the Illis sect he had found ealier using his overpowered divine sense that covered the entire world and prepared to cultivate his soul there. After all he can still become stronger this way and it could help him at a later point. He also has his Dao of Emperor that still had to reach the stage of being able to control other energy formed then qi.

As he reached the sect he had completely rectracted his dive sense and as the sect was pretty desolated there are no new from the outside world.
