Chapter 80 Siege
"This is bad."
The blue gowned man said.
"Red, this time you have really fucked up."
The red gowned man angrily snorted.
"How could I have predicted that this fuckers have such skill in formations? If not for this strange formation that almost blew me up that time, I would have just revived this fuckers and went on, but after the explosion there was nothing left to even revive.
I even had to use up 90 percent of my cultivation to fend this stupid light."
"Even without the formation, how could you allow this heretics to get away?"
A green gowned man standing next to the blue one said.
"Green, do I seem to be in the mood to hear your stupid nonsense? What happened happened. There is nothing we can do about it now. We just have to call together a new army. In worst case we will just force the kingdoms of this realm to give us their armies.
Also Blue, if you had come with me that time there wouldn't have been this problem in the first place. So please spare me your useless nagging."
Red finally had enough. He was feeling bad enough after almost dying because of some stupid heretics. But now his fellow 'gods' started to get on his nerves. The more he though about it, the more hate he felt for the little girl that had played with him.
"Fuck, next time I will crush her."
"Sigh… Red right, there is nothing changing if we just blame everything on him. Let's just form a new army and finally crush this guys.
But this time, just support the troops a bit, without giving a aim to them. We can not afford another formation blow up one of us. After all we still haven't even met the master of this girl that caused this disaster, the so called supreme expert of the realm. At the same time we used up almost one third of our fighting power to take down one city.
If this goes on, by the time we finally met this expert we will already be half death."
Blue sighing sad. He found it quite hard to believe that this kingdom was as powerful as Red said, but considering their losses this time, they really had no room for further failures.

Until now they haven't even seen a shadow of this mysterious human immortal that was called the most powerful in the realm, but from the intel they had gathered it seemed that he was at least as powerful as they were. So how could they take him down if they use up all their power on his subordinates?
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Three months later the second army of the church had been build up. This time it consisted of the combined armies of three kingdoms and a few remaining fanatics that had been spreading their teachings over the country. It's forces numbered 70 million men and it's quality was much higher then the former army that had been destroyed.
In general it could be said, that the last army was only a hastily formed horde of retards that fanatically charged into the direction they were ordered to. Mindlessly firing techniques and dying pointless deaths. This times army was the extreme opposite of this mind blowing chaos that called it self church.
The army formed out of the combined forces of the three kingdoms was neatly organized and had strick order. The soldiers were seasoned veterans that had experienced many battles and had gone through rigorous training making them elite troops compared to the fanatics from before.
But this was also the biggest draw back, the men were not mindlessly following retards. They were not fanatics that would charge into their death without any question. Their minds were not lulled by the endless chanting of some meaningless words and they were able to evaluate the situation.
Most importantly, they were able to perceive danger and valued their lives. They couldn't be just send into their death like the fanatics before. If they tried to, the only thing that they would archive would be a revolt.
So even though the quality of the men was raised, the overall strength did not raise much. The only difference was the quantity of man. Last time they had 50 thousand men in their army fighting against 30 million of the kingdom. Their troops were completely destroyed, while the enemy only lost a few thousand men on their side.
This time they had 70 million and a whole lot of experience and knowledge about the enemies tactics and aces.
Even so, the outcome was not really secured.
After all the original goal of the church was the death of this supreme human expert. Once he was death, the humans would also fall. Because of this the three gods, that could normally easily trample upon the kingdom had to spare up their powers to fight against this expert. In the end the only one that would truly fight the kingdom were the troops of the other kingdoms that were only supported by the three gods.

So even though the church had more men and seemed to have the advantage, the kingdom was able to counter with their formations and the fact that they could decide the place and time at that they would fight.
When everything is counted together, the power output of both was about the same and there was no side that had a real advantage.
Either way, the 70 million men strong army of the church was currently marching towards the kingdom. A huge white snake was coiling through the land soon passing the borders and the desert that was at the former place of sword bird city.
Soon they entered the kingdoms still occupied territory and with them countless formations that once again covered everything in the country.
This time, the army wasn't just blindly marching into the endless sea of formations and spend time to slowly take out all the formations on their way. Of course this greatly affected their speed, but if they really just charged into the formations it was likely that not even half of them would make it to the next city. After all there were a few hundred kilometers between them and the capital Bluedragon city and every centimeter between them and the city was covered by the endless formations that overlapped each other.
So even though they had to give up on a huge part of their speed, they still avoided to loose their men.
Nevertheless the army advanced in a steady pace. Three weeks later it finally reached the next city Green giant city. It was only about 30 kilometers from the former Sword bird city, but due to the formations on the way their speed got delayed by a huge margin.
Green Giant city was surrounded by tick woods and rather big hills. the city itself was located in a valley between the hills, surrounded by two rivers and a 30 meter high wall. Just like Sword Bird City, the whole city wall was covered by countless formations and even the forests surrounding it was a huge minefield.
The view of the huge formations that surrounded the city, added to the view of the destroyed Sword Bird city and the stories that had spread inside of the churches camp, the moral had soon plumed to the ground.
Nevertheless they started their attacks. Three months the city was under siege. Big parts of the formations that protected the city had been destroyed and wide areas of the forests had been destroyed. On both sides many men fell and the cries of death echoes through the battle field.
In the end one of the three gods. Blue. Interfered and destroyed the formations around the city. After a few short fights in side of the city, it finally fell after four months of continuos attacks and siege. In the end two million men died in the fights. 1.5 million on the church's side, 500 thousand on the kingdoms side.
Just like the last time, nobody was left in the city as the church overran it.
Two weeks later Golden Phenix city came under siege. Once again the siege took almost four months and ended in 1 million deaths. 700 thousand from the church's side, 300 thousand from the kingdoms side. The city was completely empty as the church's troops finally stormed the city.
After this even villages on the way started to become obstacles. they now had high walls and formations that were both defending and attacking. Small battalions of 200 men were able to hold this villages for a few day, before they suddenly vanish.
Of course this and the fact that the formation in the area became more and more complex and powerful further slowed down their pace.
Only 1 month later the finally arrived at Moon elf city.
6 months later the city fall.
2 moths later arrival at Blue Fish city.
5 moths later storming of the city.
15 weeks later….
7 moths later…..
In the blink of an eye three years passed since the beginning of the fights.
By now, there was only one city left. Bluedragon city, the capital of the city and most likely the strongest fortress the world had ever seen.

RED
Valley City. Up until around twenty years ago, it had been a nowhere place. Just a bunch of towns with no real reputation. Now, though, it's known for its progression in medical science. The Medical Technologies Company. It seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere in the middle of what's now called City Center. Once just a manufacturer and developer of medical equipment, it eventually started to dabble in medical research. Before anyone even knew it, they were the leading research entities, with five seperate buildings in Valley City alone, all towering above everything else in the area. Some say they even swayed the local government into combining the old towns into one city and popularized prosthetic limbs as fashion themselves, but that's just gossip. Matthew Vega. A 25-year-old college dropout, tricked by MediTech into being experimented on under the pretense of participating in a clinical trial for rent money. After being broken out of their facility nearly a year after having her limbs replaced, then having her liberator captured, she seeks a way to dismantle the company or save the one she cares about. NOTE: Currently I am working on a rewrite. I will post a new chapter once that is ready, listed as V2CH-001. I hope you look forward to it.

The Last Death Mage
Since time immemorial humanity has always feared and shunned what it didn’t understand. Over time this changed a bit to encompass things that didn’t conform to their thoughts and ideals. Due to humanity’s stubbornness with which the enforced their ideals many lives were lost and changed. When humanity first clashed with monsters and the beings that use magic, this trait caused many bloody fights. Over time the fights escalated into battles and full on war on several occasions. Humanity due to their adaptability and persistence won many of these altercations, causing huge casualties to the magical beings. Humanity did not come out unscathed however; many of the empires and civilizations noted in human history fell due to these battles and wars. Eventually over time humanity and the magical beings came to a sort of agreement. Magic and the beings associated with it faded into the background of history, being relegated to myth and legend. Humanity meanwhile advanced leaps and bounds once magic faded, leading to our current level of civilization. Not all magical beings were content with this, thus they did their own actions and killed or fed on humans. This has led to many organizations to be formed concerning this, on both the side of humanity and the side of magical beings. They regulate and control the use of magic as well as protect humanity from the darker things that are now not but myth to them, but there is a reason humanity instinctually fears the dark. Unfortunately there are always those that are unsatisfied by the status quo, and those that are prejudiced against things that are different. This is a story of a young man who wanted nothing more than to be normal. Unfortunately Fate and the world he lives in do not easily allow that this, thus his life changed, not for the better. Everyone has heard of or read stories about monsters and legends, heroes and villains, this is one such story. Hi, this is my second attempt at a story here, the first was before the major overhaul happened and i lost everything related to that story due to PC troubles. I hope you enjoy this if you dont please leave some constructive criticism in the comments. An Editor and the like will be needed, but I will edit as problems are pointed out and as i proof read. This story will have no set schedule, unless of course I decide to type up a bunch in succession then i will note that in a chapter beforehand. ADDED NOTE: most sexual content will be in Interludes or sub chapters with a .5 attached. Profanity and gore however shall be plenty in the actual story, though the descriptives for the gore may be added later. (For example, in the prologue that gave a hint at what happened to the MC, will be enhanced so that the gore invokes more descriptive/complete mental pictures, though it may wait.) ~Tyroth Gideon
