Chapter 97 The end (1)
This time instead of waiting for the three gods to attack him again, Zes charged towards them. Coldness glittered in his eyes as his face changed to a smile covering the world I'm cruelness. He was amused. Amused to fight a fight of live or death. And this amusement just poured into the incredible killing intent radiating from his body.
As they saw his closing the distance, his three opponents also got ready and took fighting stances. Skillfully drawing his sword the blue god took the vanguard energy waves going crazy around him.
Behind him the red god suddenly sat down mid air, forming handseals and formations around himself. As he did so, treats attached themselves to both the blue god and the green god.
The latter of both also took stance behind the blue god his two daggers hidden in his sleeves.
Zes cold smile only grew brider as he saw this scene. He made a motion with his hand and a long sword similar to the blue gods formed out of the air. It was completely transparent, making it possible to see the clouds behind it. Runes were engraved into it's blade.
Seeming a bit melancholic while looking at the blade Zes suddenly started talking.
"This sword is something I found in a technique left by my ancestors. It's a technique invented by a Smith around the time demons and humans began war with each other. And the funny thing is, it can be formed by pure qi.
No need for any precious treasures.
Of course it's far from your weapons, but I think it's special characteristic makes up for this.
It drinks demonblood. Funny isn't it?"
The blue gods eyes contracted.
"Aria of Wrath!?"
Zes only smiled.
Suddenly alarmed, the blue god tried to take distance from Zes, but it was to late. Two sword draw a beautiful line in the air and separated in the same moment.
Splash.
Blood tainted to scene as a wound opened on the blue gods hand. Even though it instantly healed, fear was evident in his eyes.
As the blood fell onto Zes transparent sword, in was absorbed and formed a few scarlet red marks on it's blade. The runes inscribed into it began to give of feint light and an aura started to form around it.

It was as if bloodlust and the desire to slaughter had taken a physical form and changed into the blade in Zes hand. A bit of craziness seemed to transmit from the tainted blade making it's appearance even more scary.
"This sword has an interesting history. It's maker was a normal smith in some random human village. There was nothing special about this smith, he had average skills and never learned from any exceptional master.
But this smith was born in a time of suffering. The last human paragon had just died and the demons started to invade into the human civilizations. One realm after another was slaughtered free of humans. Trillions of lives were ended and villages like the smiths one were destroyed in billions per minute. Every single human inside of them killed to the last child.
The same happened to this certain smiths one. The demons came as a army and simply burned it to the ground. Everyone died, except for the smith. He survived by a change as he was thrown down a well by some kids that made a prank.(kids…..)
One demon found the smith in the well. He did not kill him, he took him and started to play with him. He injected qi into the smiths body, causing it to break apart under the energy. He cut apart his skin having fun with the smith in every cruel way there was.
Often he just cut up the humans arteria drinking the blood until the smith was almost death. Of course he healed him afterwards ensuring his survival.
Once whole year the smith was tortured this way and while being injected with qi until almost exploding, his cultivation began to rise. At the same time as he was often torture to an point were pain wasn't even felt by him, his mind started to change.
He became able to hide away in a certain area in his mind were pain and physical abuse couldn't reach him and as he could've just do nothing without getting insane with the time passing, the smith did the only thing he could.
Smithing.
Inside of his mind he started to smith all the time, using his own soul as material.
With the months his skills began to increase to a point were he could only be called a prodigy in smithing. A master not seen for many centuries.
While being maltreated by the demons, inside of his mind the smith made a sword. A sword never seen before in this world, a sword that was able to use demons blood to grow stronger.
Of course it only excited inside of the smiths mind, with out a possibility to ever become real. After all it was impossible for the smith to get the materials or the time to make a sword like the one he made inside of his mind.

So while the time was passing, the smith could only continue smithing the sword until he reached a point, were the sword was perfect. Perfect to an extent that was unimaginable by anyone who hasn't seem it before.
Now tell me, what did he do then?"
Zes looked into the blue gods eyes.
Hate, anger, fear, wrath and guilt.
"After being injected with qi every day to the point of almost exploding, the smiths cultivation had risen to early nascentstage. Of course faces with the immortal stage of the demons that tortured him, he was still nothing more then a ant.
But as the smith felt the qi inside of him growing stronger, he got an idea. Why not making his sword out of qi?
After this the smith made uncountable tries, trying to create the sword he had made in his mind in the real world. Every moment the demons wasn't around, the smith trained to create the sword in the fastest way possible.
And after three weeks of daily practise, he succeeded.
Waiting for a good moment, the smith killed the demon whole he was once again drinking his blood. He stabbed deep into his body, letting his sword drink every drop of blood inside of the demons body.
The sword became stronger and stronger, allowing him to afterwards kill the whole unit the demons belonged to.
Killing his way into the demons army headquaters his sword had become unimagined strong allowing to easily slaughter deity and even deity exceeding experts while being nascentstage.
Millions of demons were killed in the following year as the smith continued to slaughter every demon on his way.
Eventually he was killed by the demons Lord. Me."
The blue god breathed in heavily.
"In the end I managed to kill the man who killed my own son. The demons that tortured the smith. It was fate and the fate couldn't have been crueller.
Even now, many trillion of years later I once again encounter the sword I personally called Aria of Wrath. It was created in wrath and it was destroyed in wrath, short-lived like an aria."
As he finished the blue gods voice wavered. Hate and sadness welled up in him as they also rocked around him.
Untouched by the story, Zes continued to coldly smile. He already knew the story behind the sword. It was all recorded in immortal Calmlights memories. Moments ago he had encountered the technique to create the sword while still processing the date in his memory.
Of course he had to use it against the gods. After all even thought it might seem heartless and cruelly, this was a fight deciding the fate of humanity. Even if it was even more wretched, Zes would use anything to get an advantage out of it.
Once again, Zes draw closer to the blue god swinging the sword. This time, the blue god managed to control his emotions and a heavy fight started. Swords flashed threw the air. Images were constantly appearing and disappearing as the two entangled each other in a episode of slashes, piecing sword lights, qi explosions and blood splashing around.
Now the other two gods also finally intervened into the fight. They had been a bit shocked about the story behind the strange sword Zes was wielding and the deep connection it had to their big brother, so they hesitated a bit before engaging into the fight.
By the time they finally moved, the fight between Zes and the blue god had already reached a incredible speed and poweroutput. The energy radiated from the two figures that were constantly flashing around were frightening enough to even cause the two other gods to be careful in their approach.
In the end, the red god started to use the treated he had attached to his two brothers earlier to provide both with qi and healing energies. The green god on the other side answered with fast sneak attacks suppressing both dangerous moments as well as Zes advantage over the still emotional unstable blue god.
Having found into their roles the fight continued without any of both getting a real advantage. but even so, blood of both Zes and the blue god soon constantly rained down onto the ground. Of course Aria of Wrath also got into contact with some blood and slowly the blood red marks on the sword began to grow in size.
At the same time the bloodthirsty aura and the sharpness of the sword became more and more threatening to the gods. The runes on the formerly completely transparent sword were already glowing in a red light making it seem vicious and evil.
In other words, while the fight right now seemed to be very balanced without any one having the advantage, with each exchange and every drop of blood lost by the gods Zes was growing stronger.
Still right now there was no real advantage on both side even though both did really fought with all their available power.
