Two more to go!!!!
Chapter 98 The end (2)
Continuing their three on one fight in this constipation with the blue god being the vanguard, the red god buffing them and the green god providing the fight with sneak attacks there fight prolonged. But while Zes seemed to be completely focused on the fight with his cold smile and the serious eyes, all the time he was still searching every corner in his mind for anything that could help him in this fight.
Suddenly he felt something inside of him. A small piece of memory had appeared inside of his mind. A scene he had never seen before. He did not knew what this mend, bit something inside of him told him, that if he mediated over this bit of information he would FINALLY understand something.
As for what, he did not know. But he knew that this certain something would get him a certain win.
Zes quickly decided. It would be bad if he postponed this to long. Insights have to be made as soon as the chance appears or else they will only bring a small part of the benefits the have. Seeing that this was a unique chance for him to get a clear advantage in this fight, Zes quickly moved.
Suddenly he separated from the close ranged fight with the blue god, getting out of their range. Of course his space was limited by the formation the green god had set up earlier, but he only needed a moment of time to do what he intended to so it did not bother him any further.
Suddenly appearing ninety meters away, he stood up right no motion in his features. Then with one handseal, lines started to form around him, each formed out of a thick strand of qi. They quickly connected into a formation that completely surrounded Zes like a cube.
Now Zes wasn't only trapped inside of the big cube formed by the green god to restrict Zes use of spatial cracks, he was also protected by a smaller cube around himself.
The gods cursed. They had been a bit to slowly and did not react fast enough letting Zes get away and form protective formation around him. They instantly charged forward, anxious that Zes could construct even more and get unreachable for them.

Zes on the other side just sat down crosslegged in the formation not even bothering about the gods. He seemed to be very confident in this formation of his. Once again calling the scene he had seen ealier he began to mediate over it.
It showed a man in beautiful clothing standing on a cliff with pink cherry blossoms swirling around him as he looked into the distance. His eyes were thoughtful as he stretched out his hand catching a petal with his fingers. The light snacks around this beautiful scene and made it seem like an over worldly tale.
Looking at it, Zes began to fall into a strange state. His eyes wandered around this picture within his mind and I seemed that he knew what to search for in it, even though he in truth had no idea just what about it had arisen his interest in the first place.
His eyes rested on the man, observing his facial expression. He had a handsome face, handsome but not to the point of becoming feminine. His long black hair was bound in a ponytail, waving in the wind behind his back. So in all he was a typical cultivator out of ancient tales.
But it was not the face or the hair that interested Zes, it were his eyes. There were no real emotions in them, nothing that would tell anything about the mans disposition. No hate or love it anything that could be connected to a dao,o nly this thoughtfulness as if he was pondering about some difficult problem.
In many ways it was similar to Zes situation right now. He too had sensed something he tried to comprehend, but wasn't able to just do so yet.
Closely looking at the mans eyes, Zes pondered. Just what had moved him in this picture to the point that it could help him in this fight? Even after observing the eyes for more time, Zes didn't find anything important in them. He was already suspecting that he had made a mistake and that there was nothing deep in this picture at all, when he suddenly followed the mans gaze.

It seemed to go into the distance leading to some distant place you couldn't seen on this picture, but upon closer look Zes realized that in fact the man was looking at something else. At something much closer.
The man was observing the cherry petals!
Shifting his attention to them, Zes instantly felt that he guessed right. The feeling told him that what he searched for was hidden within this petals or the way they moved. He fell into his thoughts.
While Zes was sitting inside of his formation paying no head to anything that happened around him and meditation on the picture, the three gods were franticly trying to break open the formations. Qi was raging like crazy as they used every possible way to open this cage.
But no matter how many waves of daos they send, no matter how they used their weapons or how many times their swords crushed into the formations, the formations Zes had set up did not bulge a
a centimeter.
Slowly the gods became nervous. It was obvious that Zes was preparing for some breakthrough or else he wouldn't just stop this fight that was going to his advantage and hide behind some formations. The only thing that would justify something like this was a rise in power that would grant him a certain victory.
Gritting his teeth, the blue god suddenly produced a treasure. It was a golden cauldron. Inscribed onto it were various strange symbols and lines and it's appears was accompanied by a ancient aura already around.
The green god gasped.
"Brother, do you really want to use this? You will never be able to use it again!"
Distressed the blue god nodded.
"I can no let him become any stronger. It wasn't planned for him to be this strong in the first place. Even we three are normally not able to kill him together, only if we resort to THIS thing we will be able to certainly kill him. But if he really becomes stronger now. who knows by how much he will grow?
What if we will be unable to do anything about him. All our ancestors have fought and killed for would be for nought. All the trillions would have died for nothing.
Even if it means that I loose this cauldron, in order to bring him down I will even give up my life!"
Resolutely the blue god started to channel his energy into the ancient cauldron, which then started to shine.
This cauldron was something unique in the world, it's powers even exceeding the three gods combined powers it was the only thing the last paragon of the demons had left to the later generations. It was intended to be an last resort treasure, only to be used in greatest peril to save whole demon kind.
In all the years it hadn't been used ones. After all it had one draw back, it could only been used once. One attack, as powerful as the deceased paragon's. This was the heirloom of demon kind, their last ace.
And now, after many trillion years it would finally be used.
The shine released by the cauldron began to grow brighter and brighter, ripples coming from it's surface.
----
Zes had no idea just what was going on outside of his small cube of formations. He was still pondering over the hundreds of cherry petals in the picture. There was still nothing telling him, what exactly was so special about them, but even though it was very vague, he did gain some insights.
The more he focused on the petals and the more his inner eye observed this certain part of the picture imparted into his mind, the more he felt that he had made a dump mistake. The more he felt that the whole fucking world had made a useless mistake.
And most importantly the more he saw it, the more he realized, that this paragon's everyone was admiring, this unreachable existences everyone was striving for, were fucking stupid.
Slowly he began to understand…..
and this certain something urged him to face palm himself…..
