From that one attack, Han Ling knew he was in trouble, the force jarred his hands, forcing him back a couple of meters. But the wolf didn’t pause once, pouncing forward with one claw swiping at the human.
Han Ling drew all nine sabres to himself, forming a shield in from of him.

A large portion of the wolf king’s health dropped, forcing the wolf back with a howl of pain, his claw completely bloody and broken.
Han Ling coughed up a mouthful of blood, taking a large hit even with the Cell Counter. More than half his health was gone from that single attack.
All around him, wind wolves and red foxes battled, fire and wind billowing like a storm. Han Ling knew he had very little chance surviving against the wolf king. Knowing that, he activated the Sun’s Serenity’s second skill.

A red fiery circle formed around the battlefield, weakening the wolves but powering the foxes. As the fight continued, more and more foxes spawn, flipping the advantage of numbers around.
But that would only work if Han Ling survived…
With the Wolf King’s hurt limb, it was difficult for him to move around, and Han Ling burst forward, summoning all nine sabres before attacking with full force.
Both sides clashed, the nine sabres slashed green fur, and wind claws shed human blood. Even with Han Ling’s game breaking life steal, he could barely keep his health away from the red zone. The wolf breathed tornados at the human, forcing him to warp away at every tornado.
The battle lasted half an hour, with the wolves slowly diminishing in numbers while the red foxes manage to push back. It was only a matter of time before they retreat. The wolf king isn’t dumb, he knew his pack was being overwhelmed. Normally he would just call for a retreat and escape, the only problem… was the human standing in front of him.

Over the past 20 minutes, the wolf king’s health dropped past 25%, he was exhausted by a single human. His pride was damaged beyond repair. A wolf king losing to a human who hasn’t reached level 25? It’s a slap in the face. The beast king roared, an enormous amount of mana forming in his maw.
The wolf king then raised his head, firing the tornado into the sky. Dark clouds loomed and covered out the sun. Tornados then rained from the sky, slamming into groups of foxes, like lighting striking a metal rod.

Han Ling cursed, he had to defeat the wolf king soon, or they will retreat only to attack again.
With that thought Han Ling his new Sword Skill along with his buffs.
[Three Slash Ashura (Rare)]
Executes three slashes, dealing more damage with each slash. With the third slash, deals additional 200% of attack but paralyzes the player for 10 seconds. Restrictions: Must execute all three strikes, the failure of one strike will paralyze player.
It was a double edged sword, if Han Ling fails then he’s dead, if he succeeds but doesn’t kill the wolf, he’s also dead. So, he had to finish this in one strike, in the 5 second window of Mask of Dark’s skill.
Han Ling took a stance, breathing calmly as he raised his blade. The first strike came swift, Han Ling slashed sideways, taking a chunk of the Wolf King’s health.

He prepared his second strike, but he knew it wasn’t gonna be that easy. A tornado hit Han Ling, causing him to cough blood. His health dropped drastically, but he still performed the second strike. Slashing upwards, a purple slash cutting a deep wound on the wolf king’s shoulder.

The beast king howled, the metallic smell wafting the air. The wolf King fired a second tornado, but Han Ling already raised the blade over his shoulder. The tornado hit Han Ling straight on the chest, health dropping all the way to the red zone. Han Ling was covered in blood, cuts and wounds gaping red. But Han Ling stood strong, all that pain was nothing for the pain that will come in the future. Physical wounds will heal, but regret stays forever…

All nine sabres melded with the Bloody Baron’s Blade, making it glow with a reddish hue.
And with all that power, Han Ling brough the sword down. Black flames burst forward, forming a sword slash that cut straight through the wolf king. A black flaming line ran down the centre of the wolf king, and both halves fell to the side.

I plan to make a story of flawed humans, so if you are looking for OP MCs you would not enjoy it. But I still hope you give it a try. This is my first time writing and I am doing it to get better, so any suggestion or criticism is welcome. I am a university student, so do not expect a robust upload schedule, I'll try to put out 2 chapters a week, but there might be some delays. I apologize for it in advance. P.s.
