"Yuki! Where are you? Are you alright!?" My mother who came right away after the explosion shouted.

"Calm down, Rena. He is alright. I can feel him outside of the house. He must have used 【Shadow Walk】 right before the explosion." My father consoled her while using a dark magic called 【Black Hole】 to clear away all the smoke that gathered because of the explosion.

"Mother, I'm alright."

I used 【Shadow Walk】 to go back inside.

"Yuki! Thank God you're alright! Are you hurt anywhere?" Said mother who is checking every bit of my body if there was any injury.

"I'm fine, mother, I don't have any injuries on me. Father, I think there's a field type ice magic 【Blizzard】 casted on a circumference of 2 miles around here." I said while looking into the distance.

"Impossible! Only the most powerful ice mage known in Isaiah can use 【Blizzard】 that can cover 2 miles of an area and can only last for an hour. That ice mage is from the Devil family of the Demon race. They are our ally!" Stated father while creasing his brows while looking at me.

"No, father, I didn't say it was Meria-san's mother. When I was outside I used 【Mana Manipulation】 and expanded my perception throughout the area and discovered over 20 mages casting the magic 【Blizzard】 and 5 that are using the spell 【Frostbite】to enhance the spell. There maybe more of them hiding in the surrounding."

【Mana Manipulation】 is a lost magic that I found in the [Library] it was said to be the magic of the Gods. The story for that, I will mention at a later date. [Spell] is different from [Magic]. There are two kinds of spells. The first one is the support spells. Support spells are less effective than magic, so there are only a few people who specialize in this department, but the advantage of a spell is its perfect compatibility with magic. It can synchronize perfectly to improve the effect of the casted magic. The second one is the Magic spells. They are called magic spells because they are branches of a strong magic. For example the fire element annihilation type magic 【Hellfire】. It has many branches of spells that you can use, like 【Hellfire: Blazeball】. It is a stronger version of 【Fireball】

"That many!? The number of ice mages that can cast 【Blizzard】 are low. I don't believe they are just messing with us. Are they planning to freeze us to death?" Said my father while the directing a fierce gaze filled with killing intent into the distance.

"To mess with my family and almost killing my son, whoever they are, they will pay for this!" My mother who is already releasing her mana essence said. Her whole body is glowing crimson red, the same as her hair, while the mana around the area is starting to get scarce because of it.

She started to walk outside. I was going to stop her, but my father put his hands on my shoulder and stopped me.

"You shouldn't get in her way when she's like that. She isn't called the 'Rage Flame Queen' for no reason. You should let us parents do our job for once. I'll back her up, so don't worry. I think the enemies are the ones that would need the help, though." Father said while he channeled the mana around the area and combined it with his own.

Sirius POV

"Alright! Time to show off to my son 【Darkness Ascension: Dark Form】!" I said while casting my own unique magic. My whole body was covered in black mist-like smoke except for the eyes.

【Darkness Ascension】is my own unique magic. It's the only magic that I, by myself, have created. It has many branches of spells, 【Darkness Ascension: Dark Form】 is one of them. Though I say it is my own unique magic, I think my son is already learning how to use it. So, I think it could not be called a unique magic soon. The comprehension of my son is quite scary. I think if he has the ability to use all the elements, it will be only a matter of time till he can use all the magic, spells, and even techniques. That's a scary thought. But, alas, a person can only have 3 types of element, and only the geniuses of geniuses can have them.

While I was having those delusions, Rena had already started chanting incantations. Rena is a chanting type mage. When you use magic while chanting, the magic you released will be enhanced by two-folds. Though the weakness of chanting is revealed when you are fighting close combat, that only applies to races that use vocal incantations. Rena has the Devil bloodline of the Demon race. When they are in that form, they don't use their vocal chords to talk, instead, they use brainwaves. Ahh, I just remembered I need to get away from her to avoid any misfires.

「O twisted crimson fury, heed my call! Turn thy enemy into cinders. 【FIRESTORM】!」

Hundreds of boulder-sized flames appeared before her. When they all finished forming, they shot off into the skies with the trajectory to where the enemies were.

While I was hearing those pitiful screams of pain, Rena was chanting an incantation of another magic.

「O twisted crimson fury, Hear my call. The blood in my body as the fuel, and the hatred, and anger for my enemy as the trigger 【Conflagration!】」

The surroundings of the area where the enemies were, combusted into a sea of flames. The continuous screaming earlier stopped, replacing it with the sound of roaring flames. It continued for a couple of seconds, then stopped because Rena ceased supplying the fire with mana. Although it was just a couple of seconds, with the strenght of Rena's flames there wasn't any trace of corpse left.

"Hey, Rena. Don't you think that was a little bit of an overkill? You didn't even gave me the chance to show off to Yuki." I released the magic I used while complaining to her.

"Hmph! Stop being a girl and man up! They don't deserve to leave a corpse for attacking us!"

"Yeah, I agree with that, but how will we know who attacked us and what their motives for attacking us were?" I said while feeling a little down being called a girl by my own wife.

"…That's. Well, that's where you come in. Just use your connections or something." Rena said while avoiding eye contact.

"Haaaa. That's going to be hard without a corpse to examine you know?" I sighed while using the magic 【Black Hole】to extinguish the fire and steam.

"Don't worry father, I already have a solution for that." My son was dragging a bloody body with one hand.
