Prologue - Remnants of the Past
Waiting in a dim hole searching for the way out. In spite of all that I can't believe that I'm stuck in here, in this dark cavern having no physical body. I can't think about my name, or the faces of my colleague, my companions, and family. All things considered, as though I think about my parents any longer. I can't recollect the majority of their countenances any longer, yet despite everything I can review what happened before I got here.
-oOo-
I was ten years of age when I flee from home. Being mishandled by your guardian(parent) was the most noticeably awful thing done to me,and I was the only child. I pondered in the city for a considerable length of time, and found the countryside, a wide open place where I discover a homestead land. I figure out how to get some assistance from the proprietor of the ranch, yet I have to work for nothing in return for haven and sustenance. When I was sixteen years of age, the ranch was sold to a rich man, and I have to move out and find somewhere else to sit tight. I went to the city and fortunately affectionate an occupation, and rent some old appartment. Here I got the chance to meet individuals that I can call family. I could be a typical young person, having a decent chuckle, going out with the guys, and play some computer games. In my nineteenth birthday, my companions got me a Virtual Reality console as a present and it was the happiest day of my life. Having no game installed to it yet, it was upon me to purchase a VR gaming card for it.
I got my bank card and went to the closest bank to pull back some cash. I realize that a VR gaming card is costly yet I can't exhaust my savings. After I have my cash I rapidly went to a VR gaming shop to purchase the gaming card. When I entered the building I rapidly search the first person shooter to RPG. I just let out a sizable chunk of air in disillusionment realizing that I can't manage the cost of a solitary gaming card. As I was looking down at the floor, something got my attention. It was an old box under the racks of the Gaming Cards. I thought to myself that someone must have dropped it, when I lifted it up, I took a look at it and read the title of the game. The Dreamland of Sword and Magic 'Helarion'. Perhaps it was the first rpg game for the VR console as the container was extremely old. I saw that the cost was moderate, my eyes was currently brimming with life. "At least I can use my console even if it's the oldest game". When I got to the counter, the clerk was looking at me with a confused look ,and she said that she didn't had a game like this before. She scanned the bar code and the price appeared at the monitor. I told her that it was my birthday and this was the first game that I will buy, the clerk listening to my words wrapped the VR gamming card and sold the item for free and told me a Happy Birthday. She said that if I ever need another game card, she would give me a fifty percent discount, yet I was a blockhead and turned her down. I expressed gratitude toward her and left the building. I purchased some cup noodles at a convenient store to eat for tomorrow morning. When I returned home, I ate some cake that my companion baked for me. After that I quickly set up the VR console. The Vr gaming card was all gold in shading, it appears like that it was newly made. I immediately installed the game, I was waiting and sitting tight for it to be done as I read the introduction and the brief world history.

"Helarion, a world loaded with myths, beasts, mystical creatures, war and conflict. A world where no one but you can spare it from the Demon Lord." and a cluster of different words that doesn't generally make a difference.
As a *ding* sound was heard, the installation of the game was done. I briskly set down at my bed, and wear the VR console as I start the machine.
As my cognizance was being hauled out of my body into the game, I fell sort of mixed up, and I can't feel my physical body any longer. At that point I was welcomed with the title of the game, same with a wonderful soundtrack to it. I command the system to start the game, and I was welcomed by a lovely young lady. In spite of the fact that I was expecting that the game will be more pixelated on the grounds that I suspected that it was an old game. Be that as it may, the presence of the young lady before me was fairly genuine. "Welcome Hero to the universe of Helarion, I am the God of All, the maker of the considerable number of Gods, this world, and the animals that live in it. You just have one mission, that is to spare this world from the Demon Lords and keep up the balance of this world. Be prepared and have good fortune, as the world is in your grasp."
After she said that, I was sent to a room with a body. I modified the presence of it, and picked a mage class. The game begins in book one, the Great war of Helarion. It was incredible that it has action from the begin, the mission was to help the King and slaughter the attacking Demon Lord. The game said that there were no less than seven Demon Lords, and the one that we're going to fight was one of them. We marched to where the Demon Lord and the devils was, as we walk and execute beasts I was experiencing the instructional tutorial, Status menu, Hp, Mp, how to utilize aptitudes, use skills et cetera.
It was going incredible and I'm having a good time, the war begins and I'm killing a ton of cronies, and picking up levels. My part was only an apprentice mage, yet I can say that I'm the most capable one of the considerable number of disciples. Boisterous blasts can be listened, and metal to metal clashing. There was likewise a considerable number of magic spells being thrown that shelled both sides. As our strength was winning, the Ruler(King) and his squad *including me* was going to slaughter the Demon Lord.

The Demon Lord was stating his last words, and was sitting tight for his demise to come. I was somewhat eager, and chant my strongest spell, and shoot it at the diminishing Demon Lord. When it associated and made an enormous impact, I gained a lot of levels ,and a screen appears before me.
Congratulations on killing the first Demon Lord.
You got a new title.
When you utilize this title,
a boost of stats will be added, and
you will gain new strength.
After the notice box showed up, the sentiment of the game was gone, and to some degree it feels realistic. I can now feel the warm air, as the surroundings was more detailed and real, however I simply overlooked it as I was excited for my new title. When I was reading the notice box, I heard the King shouts as loud as possible. "Kid, keep an eye out." Suddenly I felt torment from my back, and I hack a sizable chunk of blood. Three mysterious bolts hit my back, making me tumble to my knees. A High Priest was recuperating the injuries, yet I heard that it's futile, as the bolts were cursed, and only death anticipates me. My companions were in wrath, and look for the Demon who shoot the arrows. I was confounded, in what manner would I be able to felt so much torment, this is only a VR game. I shouldn't feel this much pain, it was getting harder to breath, my comrades and the King was conversing with me, however as my sight diminishes out, and little by little my hearing was gone, I could just pondered internally.” Is this seriously happening? am I truly going to pass on?”
My consciousness was gliding in a vacant space. I don't know the amount of time passed, however it feels like an eternity. At that point I saw a light, I float as quick as I can to draw close to this light, and when I drew close to it, I understand that it was a wisp.A blue wisp, and its body was carrying on like a smoke that transmits the blue light. It only has a head, thin body and arms. All of a sudden it opened its eyes that was just a brilliant light, and when I took a look at its eyes, my consciousness was being sucked into it. I attempted to fight it, however it was getting increasingly hard to escape, and when I was going to get consumed, I shut my eyes in apprehension.
What's more, when I opened my eyes, a blue notice box showed up.
You are now a newly born wisp.
-oOo-
What's more, here I am, searching for a way out at this hollow. I can hardly imagine how this transpired, I was simply playing a VR game, turned into a hero, however I got killed in the process, and now I'm stuck being a wisp. Stuck in this hollow, and can't find a way out.
I was going to get crazy, yet a superb thing happened. I finally found a light, the exit to this cave, I rapidly glide and as was going to get close to the way out, I stop and take a good look at the outside world.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. As if to confirm his thoughts, the very next second a series of prompts invaded his sight followed by a rather soothing voice. [Soul restoration - Completed!] [Welcome to Eve] [Status...... In a world where only strength rules, concepts of good and evil become blurred as they fade to inutility. If you are looking for a goody-two-shoes, upholder of justice, and who goes around unconditionally saving any and all people in distress, this story is most likely not your cup of tea. It can also get pretty dark and sensual at times, you have been warned. Release schedule, Monday-Wednesday-Friday

Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.
