Chapter 4 – World for the Wisp
I was currently at the second floor of the underground dungeon. As I wonder around, the “cave” appearance was gradually transforming into a considerably more well-known dungeon like in the RPG games, stone paths and walls can now be seen.
It was somewhat difficult to see from the faint light that originates from my body. I got a thought and attempted to brighten up the light of my body, and I was happy that it was a success. In any case, it was likewise sort of dangerous as I'm more exposed to beasts, or people that were inside the dungeon.(Who wouldn't notice a bright light wondering around the dungeon?) So I stick to a faint light and gradually float to the side of the wall as I wait for a new monster to come.
As I was floating around, I saw a little thing that was slumping around like a gelatin. I draw nearer to it and inspect it, "WOOOOAAAHHHH!!! a real slime". It was blue in shading and like in games; it's similar to a gelatin. It was squirming around and jumping around with a *flop* sound as it bounce at the stone floor. I attempted to poke it, but in response it pounces right at me that caused my 「Otherworldly Body」 to be activated. It must be an impulse to assault anybody that touches it. "I'm sorry Mr. Slime, yet I require your help to survive here, Thank you!" Then I gave it a punch without hesitation.
20 Damage!
You have slain a Blue Slime.
The gelatinous substance was all around and the slime leaves a little sphere like a pearl. It was more probable it's nucleus or something. Like the core from the Toxinling, I put it inside my body and move to fight another monster.
I investigate the second floor and I’m like moving in circles as the creatures kept coming back. I killed a considerable number of slimes; they appeared to be a blue colored slime, red, green, and yellow. It appears that the blue slime was the weakest, then the green one, followed by the red and the yellow one (strongest). I likewise gathered a ton of core from killing these creatures. I reached a conclusion that these slimes were produced by the dungeon, or being re spawned like in the games, that was the reason regardless of the possibility that I slayed all of them, they continue returning without end. Well that was only a hypothesis of a gamer.

I keep on chasing slimes and gather their core numerous times. At some point I was spotted by individuals, yet I attempted to shroud the light that my body radiates, and I turned like a smoke unnoticeable. It was helpful that I can likewise control the light that I can give and turn it off like a switch.

When I was hiding at a corner I saw a small crack and it was giving a weak light. I was interested on what was it, so I attempted to enter the little split on the stone wall. Like the air, without much of effort I move in this tight spot and move to the end of it. However, the opposite side of the crack made me forgot where I am, and what I am.
It was an excellent room, a fantasy world within a fantasy world, a room loaded with white colored trees that enlightens in various colors as little light spins around them. I gradually move closer into the room, and at that time I understand that the lights that were playing around the trees are wisps. Some wisp that saw me came closer and without realizing it I was currently being drag around by these little wisps, I can see that the greater part of the wisp was white in shading, not at all like me that was blue in color. *Maybe I'm a subspecies, I don't generally know*. The little wisps were taking a look at me with they're splendid white eyes; it appears that I'm an odd ball here. The little wisps drove me to a tremendous tree, and there I found a wisp however it has a humanoid appearance or rather she has a humanoid appearance.
She was wearing a light like silk, and was sparkling with a brilliant green light. I saw her face as she took a look at me; I realize that if she has a human body, she will be stunning like a model. I hear her speak yet I didn't notice her mouth move.
“Welcome young-ling to the place for the wisp, the home of a large number of wisps, [The Nancledra]. I see that you're a unique one, don't be astonished as I can talk telepathically. I realize that you have numerous question that's need to be answered, however I don't have the privilege to answer them, as I'm only a guardian of this place. I don't have a name, yet you can simply call me The Guardian Wisp. This place is where the vast majority of wisps are born, as you realize that wisp are a part of the portion of the feeble creatures in this world, they are likewise valuable and in some cases being captured for many reasons. I additionally need to warn you that human are extremely dangerous creatures, so be careful with them, as you are not human any longer. You can live here if you want to, this place can be your safe haven, yet I won't stop you if you don't plan to stay. That is all.” Then she vanished into the thin air.

I can only reply with a “Thank you.”
I can just sigh in frustration, but anyway I guess I can rest here for some time before I return to leveling up. When I found a spot to rest, a notification box showed up, same as the event of my body transmiting a brilliant light.
Congratulations! ! !

I took a look at my status menu and it changed, it really does. "Hahahaha, YES! YES! YES!" I was overwhelmed in happiness and was presently playing around with the little wisps that were around me. "HAHAHAHA!!" despite the fact that I don't have a mouth to talk, everybody can see that I'm laughing from within.
“So this is the way for a creature to Rank Up huh!?”
I stayed at [Nancledra] and rest for an hour, after resting I left the place and hunt for more slimes and monster core.

Collective Thinking
Dyna Graves grew up thinking she was special. An exception to the average. Not necessarily above her peers, but simply outside their context. However, toward the end of her high school life, she started to realize that nobody was really special. At least not in any fantastical way. Just as she started trying to figure out what she wanted to do with the rest of her life, she got an invitation. A psychic institute scoped her out, realized her psychic potential, and asked if she would undergo psionic training at the Carroll Institute. Almost immediately, Dyna realized that she wasn’t quite up to the same level as many of her peers. Surrounded by clairvoyants and mind readers displaying obvious abilities made her own lack of ability all the more apparent. That was, up until the researchers and scientists of the facility realized that there was a bit more to Dyna Graves than met the eye. After an explosive incident during what should have been a routine experiment, Dyna quickly found herself wrapped up in a world of cutthroat espionage. The story can also be viewed on my website, https://www.towercurator.com/collective-thinking/. Cover art by Zoern.
