Chapter 8 – Goblin Floor Part 1

Devouring the ocean of monster cores made me ranked up twice giving me a reward of +90 to all my stats. I also fixed the entryway by utilizing my own fluid body as an adhesive, the paste was entirely intense yet that ought to do it.

From the darkness when our "MC" was battling the purple slimes, there was a shadow observing unobtrusively. The shadow was a newbie adventurer, it was dark that time and just a silhouette of a man battling the thousands of slimes can be seen. Once the Colossal King Slime was vanquished, he rapidly pull back as the word spread around, “ A single man entering and clearing the level of the Colossal King Slime” that supposed to be cleared by a full party raid around 20 to 40 individuals. This dungeon was a different dungeon, the levels of this dungeon was very bizarre as the strength of the monster changes every level. Most of the regular monsters are weak, but when it comes to the bosses, they are super strong that an entire party raid can only clear it. Making every boss room a grave for the individuals who are weak and naive. The majority of the adventurers that enter the boss room will simply rush to the way out, and avoid battling the boss to get to the lower floor.

I at long last got to the seventh floor; there I saw some monstrous green childlike beast wearing battered garments, pointy nose and ears, dull red eyes and sharp yellow teeth. I knew from the first time I saw it, that it's a goblin. Goblins are pretty aggressive and territorial in some games. At the point when a goblin saw me, it was talking and I can't comprehend it. I don't know monster dialect or goblin tongue. What's more, I can't likewise talk or make sound as I don't have the organs/parts to talk. I simply wave my hands for making proper acquaintance; it snarled at me and was getting ready to attack. "So much for saying Hello." It runs towards me and jump, expecting to get me, yet I didn't give him any chance as I gave him a strike to the head, I gave it a tiny bit of strength making its head explode as bits of its brain splatters all over the place.

“UUGGGHHH!! Disgusting, lucky I don’t have any nose.”

It was quite troublesome as I have to get the monster core inside the goblin. I change the shape of my stone hand similar to a blade, and then cut open the goblin. "UUUGGGGHHHH, Shit!" Light green blood was currently streaming out of its cut body. The organs was similar to humans, however there are a few organs that were missing, I didn't give too much consideration at that as I rapidly get the core. The monster core was by the heart of the goblin and was connected to it. As much as I hate it, I absorb the blood that was on my hands and continue to explore the floor and hunt some monsters.

I know I can make a sword or a blade out of my hands and be a cool swordsman or something; however I was concentrating on becoming a mage as it was my favorite class. I likewise plan to make my own magic, yet I'm very content with my abilities at this moment. I realize that my abilities are lame in some point yet they are powerful.

There was not a lot in this floor, no treasure chest or some corpse for loot, simply destructive traps yet nothing I can't deal with. Possibly the goblins got all the items and move it to their base or something, in any case I didn't kill a lot of the goblins as they don't help me that much to level up. I just 「Devour」 the goblins for some extra stats and ability. Through the 「Devour」 ability I got the goblin’s ability.

A small transparent circle shows up at the upper right corner of my vision. As the ability said, it was a radar, inside the circle little red dots were present. I attempted to improve it with my mana, and it grew from 20 meters to 50 to 100 to 500 then 1000 meters. There were measurements in the radar on how far the red spot was, I walk toward the dot and there it was a goblin. I was just making sure that it's working properly.

I saw that I can now hear sound, breathe some air through my nose and mouth. I know that it was a direct result of the countless times that I 「Devour」 the goblins, giving me a bit of their body parts. I rapidly touch my face then I breathe out in alleviation. I was grateful that I can manipulate my appearance and I don't need to worry about looking as an ugly goblin.
