《HERO CHRONICLES:》BK2; Chapter 6: [ Princess Aura ]

In his heart, the music sounded clearer than before. His body moved naturally to the melody as if he already knew how to dance or he might have already danced like this before.
A fleeting memory he couldn’t remember.
His feet and the princess moved in sync with the beat of the music up and down in the dance floor in beautiful steps as if it was choreographed.
They were dancing in the middle of the dance floor with grace. Their movements were as beautiful and elegant.
Although he doesn’t know how to dance and this is the first time he did it, he moved his feet without forcing it. He even took the initiative in leading the princess to move that it took her by surprised.
His heart was at ease, the scene of the hall which was just a background filled his eyes.
The other pairs around them moved like flower petals, lost in the music of the performers.
Their dance garnered tremendous attention as countless pairs of eyes stares at them with envious gazes.
There were some who were envious of Hein for dancing with the princess. On the other hand, there were group of women yearning for Hein as they couldn’t help but stare at his graceful movements with fervent eyes.
As the music finally ended, a grand applause towards them resounded in the whole place. In the eyes of the aristocrats and nobles were pure feelings of admiration and praise. Even the daughters of noblemen leaked out hot sighs while thinking to ask for Hein a dance.
Putting his right hand to his left chest, he and the princess gracefully bowed in returns towards the applause as they slowly walked back to their original position.
… …
A figure of a beautiful young lady quietly sitting on a beautiful ornamented chair as she looked at the dancers as well as the people enjoying themselves. There were many handsome men asked her for a dance but she ignored them all.
Now seeing a young boy filled with mystery while emitting some kind of indescribable feeling, it manages to grab a slight of her attention. Pitch black clothes with white hair, surely he was the one his father told her about. A boy, no, a young man that came from another world. Possessed with mysterious power and manage to take the power of the legendary bird; phoenix.
Because of this power, his body undergoes a change that turned his body to that of a little kid.

He was really mysterious, the young lady thought. At first, when he danced he was moving quite amateurish and then for who knows how it began to change as he danced very elegantly. It was as if he was already used to dance like this ever since before.
He was like floating in the air when dancing.
It seemed as if he was moving with the music itself.
As if to support her thoughts, the applause gradually spread around the place. All the people that witnessed the dance of the boy clapped in praise. As they too were mesmerized by the fantastic scene.
—-This only made her curiosity towards the boy becoming stronger.
Hein; oblivious to a young lady’s thoughts about him, was currently growing flustered as his face were dyed red under his mask.
Even he couldn’t help but be embarrassed by the unexpected shower of applause as he lowered his head. After a few while he took his jet black mask and bowed. As expected as soon as the surrounding saw his face, they were stupefied. Some even gasped in surprise as they didn’t expect him to be so young and handsome.
As they finished thanking the crowd, princess Mifuelle whose face were filled with smile; from the beginning to the end, and
Hein slowly walked towards their original group.
“I thought my handsome son said he didn’t know how to dance at all?” The first thing Hein heard as he approached them was his mother’s teasing question while grinning from ear to ear.
“I don’t know, really. In fact, this is the first time I danced like that.” Hein answered as he scratched the back of his head.
“Hoo~ if that were true, then my son isn’t just handsome but a real genius.”
“Master…cool!” Hell with her eyes sparkling as she looked at Hein with full of worship, jumped and embraced him. Although surprised, Hein with fast superhuman reflexes easily caught her and then gently stroke her head affectionately. Aqua jumped to his shoulder and with a ‘Pyon! Pyon!’ sound, lightly jumped from its position.
Seeing this lively group of people, many thought of joining them. However, they stop themselves as they don’t want to be seen as hasty. Meeting the boy later and befriending him will still not be too late.
The night deepens as the curtain of this fulfilling and wonderful night gradually comes to a close.

“Haaa~ I’m so full~”
“Hell…too~”
Lina and Hell held down their bulging bellies as their faces melted with happiness. After a short while…
ZZzzZ
Hell’s breathing evened out as she fell asleep while leaning on the wall. Having filled her stomach, it seems she was likely assaulted by a comfortable drowsiness as her eyes quietly closed.
“This girl…”
Hein tapped his temple with his finger and let out a bitter smile. Seeing the little girl sleeping, her mother too gave a pleasant smile as she carried her in her arms.
Seeing the little Hell behave this way without a hint of shame, Hein didn’t choose to reprimand or complain as his face softened.
Objectively speaking, he was forced to admit that he wanted to spoil this little girl so much.
“Fufu, it seems that she was quite satisfied~” Leviana said while smiling.
“Yeah, this were thanks to the young master and Mistress” Lina answered.
“Haaa~ Didn’t I told you not to call me young master… you should call me Hein, Lina”
“No! I can’t possibly do that. Young master already gave us new and comfortable life. I can’t even possibly repay you in this lifetime!”
“Haa, good grief…” Seeing her being so stubborn, Leviana and Hein couldn’t help but let out a dejected sigh.
“Hey!”
“Mom, I’m also going back. I want to sleep~”
“That’s alright. I still need to accompany your father for a bit so you should head home first.”
“Okay~”
Whoosh~
A considerable strong mana come flying towards him. Letting out a dejected sigh, he extends his right hand before his chest.
This was the sole change in his posture. No sign of evasion or other movements, just extending his right hand as he caught the ball of ice flying towards him.
By the time he lowered his hand, his eyes caught the first princess; Aura Alberona looking back at him. The distance between them were roughly 3 meters.
Witnessing this scene in front of them, all the guest and noblemen turned their eyes towards them. Whispers and gossips spread through the crowd in an instant.
“Princess Aura, although I really appreciate your kingdom’s grace and hospitality as well as I greatly honored my husband’s relationship towards your family. However attacking my son without warning. Do you want blood to spill in this lovely night of yours?” Leviana calmly said. She was terribly calm, her face devoid of any expression.
Her chilly, piercing gaze seemed to root the icy princess to the spot.
Although this was the first time they saw this, no matter if it was the king, the queen, princess Mifuelle or the noblemen, they knew that this calm facade was only a cover to her wildly rampaging emotions and she was only projecting an aura of calmness.
Indeed, she was furious beyond all reason. No one has the right to hurt his son!
Especially in front of her.
On the corner of the hall, Draig Vilestone immediately stood up. However, his face were the same as Leviana as a sharp expression like piercing blades emitted from his eyes.
As to what he is thinking, no one knows.
The king on the other hand was already shedding cold sweats. He was frantically walking towards his foolish daughter.
Although Draig is only a noble of the Berona Kingdom, their family still holds the reputation of being the strongest and influential noble.
His wife, Leviana was the first princess of the elf kingdom. If they were to wage war to them in this warring state, they were most likely be eliminated. That should be avoided at all costs.
Besides them, was a monster in human clothing. Their adopted son, although he didn’t know the extent of his capability, he believe that seemingly harmless looking young man have the power to reduce their kingdom into rubbles in just one night.
He also noticed the eerie aura emitting from the woman behind Leviana while carrying a sleeping girl. It’s as if she was ready to pounce at his daughter any moment, like a wild beast attacking its prey.
Abandoning all pretense of not noticing her, Hein waved his hand towards his enraged mother as he gave her a smile.
Truthfully, he was very surprised at the sudden change of his mother. He really didn’t think that she would be enraged like this. Actually, he already heard the princess calling for him since the first time.
However, he wanted to avoid this princess at all cost. He believed that being acquainted with this sort of person will just gave him a tremendous headache, so he wanted to go home but he never expected that she will be brazen enough to attack him under the gazes of hundred people.
