A new relaxing season was now starting to come as the autumn rains have already ceased and the leaves from the trees had started falling.

At a certain room of the Berona Kingdom’s palace a beautiful elf was giving out loud sighs as she sat in her chair.

“Is there any problem…. mistress Leviana?” A maid asked while giving the beautiful elf a cup of tea.

The one whose brows were furrowed and joined, as well as forehead was filled with black lines were Hein’s mother; Leviana Vilestone.

Beside her was her own personal servant, Seiran Frey.

Normally, Leviana didn’t like having a personal servant because she feels as if she was being guarded or restricted but as the king wanted her to have one or two she can only agree.

Just like the saying back in earth, [ When in Rome, do what Romans do ]

“Ah, a very big problem! Look at this letters in my table. It’s too much! I already told them that it’s still far too early but they still keep sending it!”

Looking at Leviana who’s almost in the brink of explosion, Seiran took one of the letters and opened it.

When she finished reading it, she once again looked at the mountains of letters in the table.

“Don’t tell me, all of this was marriage proposals for the young master?”

“Ah, that’s right! Geez just how can they were unable to understand it. Marriage for my son is still too early! I still don’t want to give him to someone else …. …hmpf, let’s see who dares to steal my son from me!”

Hearing this lover like declaration, Seiran can only smile bitterly.

“Yes! And this one is from Earl Mark… this one is from Baroness Sayti… and this one…”

Various statuses and officials send letters of marriage from; Earl, Marquis, Duke, Barons and many others.

Moreover, these letters arrive one after another…

Who could blame Leviana for exploding?

Reading this nonstop can make anyone rip their clothes and start throwing things.

Leviana walked elegantly in the hallway, looking for Hein.

She noted that ever since their arrival at the palace, their mother-son bonding has greatly diminished.

Lots of events happened that needed her attention.

With that in mind, she swore to herself to spend this day with her beloved son.

Scanning the courtyard, she finally found him.

Upon seeing the small figure of her son that was in the middle of countless dried leaves, she called out:

“Hein!”

“Hm? Oh, hey mom~” Hein who seemed to be so engrossed, with his face buried within the pages of the book, didn’t seem to notice Leviana’s approaching.

Though his voice sounded surprised, Leviana herself was more surprised than him.

The reason was due to the accessory that she had never seen him wear it on his face before.

“Oh? It seems even with a pair of spectacles, my son is still handsome~”

“Hehe, this is a magic item called [ Speed Reading ]. With its help, I can read faster than the usual~”

Saying so, he pushed to readjust the spectacles on his nose.

The glasses with a thin silver outer frame gave Hein a new refreshing look.

“Fufufu… then please take care of my son well… though I doubt he needs someone’s protection~”

The mother – daughter pair, Lina and Hell greeted her. Lina took a chair and let Leviana sit down.

“So you were here Lina.”

“Yes mistress. The young master asked for my help to carry some books, that’s why..”

“It’s fine, don’t worry about it.”

Glancing at the side of the small table were a mountains of books.

Taking a look back in time, after breakfast when he went to the library to look for new skills he accidentally found a book about the world’s history.

Picking his interest, he asked Lina and the knight Ashley who was always following him wherever he goes, to carry the books.

He can read it in the library but because the weather is quite good, he wanted to enjoy some breeze while reading.

Looking at his son who was engrossed in his book, her lips parted into a dazzling smile.

“You really like reading, aren’t you?”

Raising his head, Hein look at his mom and smile. “Yeah! Ever since I’m small, I always went to the library and read. It feels as if I’m going somewhere far when I’m reading stories, especially adventure books. It also felt good when I learned new things~”

“Fufufu It might be good but be sure not to overdo it okay? It can also be bad~”

“Hm~ I’ve got it… Ah mom, next week I….”

Hein wanted to say something but before he could finish, a notification window suddenly popped out in front of him.
