Both me and my gramps got all the way to the back of the line. I looked around and saw that there was another line but all the kids in that line where in really flashy clothes. I only wore a plain black shirt and white shorts. They where probably kids from noble families that have come to check if they have magic. There where people in white robe checking that no one cut in line.
Edwin[gramps who are the people in white robes?]
Berg[ those are the people from the magic academy they are here to recruit anyone who has magic.]
I see so those are magicians I continued to look at them for a while. There where many kids crying because they did not have any magic. When ever a noble kid came out of the building with a sad expression their families would hide their faces in shame. Then all of a sudden I heard a loud voice.
Noble kid [ why the hell are you commoners here you guys are wasting everyone's time. You guys should leave because all of you are trash right dad!]
Kid's dad[ of course my son they are all trash.
Both father and son are full of shit.
It was his turn to go into the building he turn to look at his dad.
Noble kid [ I'm going to get a powerful attribute and go to the magic academy.]
Ten minutes later he came out of the building while crying
Kid's dad[ you have shame me and the whole family how dare you not have magic damn after everything I wasted on you.]
They both left and I was trying not to laugh at the two. We waited another five minutes and then it was my turn. We walk in to the building there was a large hallway we walked until we reached a large room. We went inside and there was an old man he had a large beard and his head was bald he unlike everyone in the room wore a purple robe.

There where five people in total not counting me or gramps. The room was huge and there was a small table with a cristal ball on top.
Old man [ when you touch the cristal ball it will shine into the color of your attribute, but if you have no magic then it will not shine at all.]
The attributes and there color are as follow
Fire-red
Water-blue
Earth-brown
Wind-green
Lightning-yellow
Light-white
Darkness-black
I stepped in front of the cristal ball and touched it nothing happen for a second but then it began to shine. It was two colors half of the cristal was yellow while the other was black. That meant I had the lightning and darkness attribute. There was a big commotion in the room everyone had their eyes on me it made me feel uncomfortable.
Old man [ the darkness attribute!!! The last time anyone had it was more than two thousand years ago I never thought I would see anyone who could use it.]
I guess what pochi said was true about only a hand full have gotten this attribute.
Old man [boy please come and join my school You won't have to pay for anything all of your classes will be cover and you could sleep in the dorms what do you say!]
i will get stronger if I go to his school and everything will be cover so there's no reason to decline his offer I look at my gramps for approvel he nods that it is ok.
Edwin[ ok I accept but are you sure that I won't pay for school?]
Old man [ of course I am the principal of the school my name is Abraham Springfield.]
That took me by surprise I never expected the principal of the academy to be here himself.

Abraham[ you could enter school once you are eight years old. So we will wait for you for two years ok boy.]
So I won't start school right away.
Abraham[ oh right before you go could I know your name boy.]
Edwin[ Edwin Drago ]
I proudly told him my name After that me and my gramps left the building I was happy at what I got as my attributes.
Edwin[ hey gramps could you teach me how to use the sword please.
Berg [ of course I will teach you ,wait till we tell your mom and grandma of what happened today they won't believe it.]
We got home late and it was already dark.when we told my mom and grandma they where proud my mom kissed me in the cheek and we all went into are rooms pretty late.
(Abraham pov)
I came to the city of yomos so I could recruit young kid who have potential there where only a few who had magic.then a boy came he had a black shirt white shorts but what really got my attention where his dark blue hair and red eyes. I had never seen or heard of anyone with red eyes in my entire life. He went to the cristal ball and when he touched it the ball glowed two colors yellow and black everyone in the room was shock because the darkness attribute had not been seen in two thousand years. I must get this boy into my school after he and his grandfather left I was happy.I want to see what kind of path he will choose.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

LiMB: ZERO DARK ASCENSION ARMA
LiMB is a work of fiction inspired by webnovels such as "Re:Zero - Starting life in another world" and visual novels such as "Fate/Stay night" or "Sengoku Rance". Not unlike a visual novel LiMB has two main routes branching out from the the first chapter, with additional routes being added as the story progresses. There are also "ending routes", spinoffs or dead-ends that still need to be told. There is no recommended reading order, although a chapter in one path may shed light on another. When a choice appears in a chapter that choice will be branded as (R1), (R2) or (SR) for a special offshot ending. I hope you will enjoy this, more art will be added along the way // grunt
