《Choices》1: The First Choice

You listen to the principal at the head of the gymnasium as he continues to drone on about the importance of education, college, and other oft repeated things. Today is the day that the senior year graduates from high school. To many it is a joyous occasion, to others it isn’t anything special. But for you it is the day that marks the beginning of your new and (hopefully) exciting life. You haven’t really done anything interesting so far, but you know that life has more to offer you than what you've already seen.
It is as you are daydreaming of your mundane life finally changing for the better that the gymnasium around you begins to shake. The world shakes.
Everyone stumbles slightly as the ground rumbles beneath their feet and the building itself begins to vibrate and pulse. Then the walls and ceiling, as if they were simply too fragile to exist, begin to crumble away. Behind them lies a vast and empty white space.
It is at this point that people begin to react, first some of the students, then the teachers. One after another sounds of shock fill the air. People yell and scream, demanding to know what is going on. You can’t help but think that their words are useless. Who is there to answer their questions? Who could possibly explain what is going on? Clearly whatever is happening is beyond comprehension.
But as you look around at the crumbling of reality, you realize it is nothing in comparison to what comes next. With an earth shattering roar a presence comes into existence in the white space above. The pressure it exerts is enough to bring everyone to their knees. You are no exception, falling to the ground with your peers.
“Greetings mortals.” A Voice resounds in your head. There is no definable gender to the Voice and no way to discern where it comes from but you know at once that this Voice belongs to the Being floating above you. A Being you can only think of as God.

"It seems that what is happening has confused many of you but do not worry, the bewilderment you feel will soon vanish. For the moment all you need to know is that you have been called forth to populate the world of Celtair. You must now choose whether you are willing to accept my calling.”
As the words finished a Box appears in front of your eyes and you have a choice to make. The first of many.
Accept Summons to the World of Celtair?

Eldritch Entity On A Journey Of Self-Discovery
Shold'ler has made a reality before. It was pretty messy, the physics didn't work properly, and his designs were just terrible. This place has flawless physics, a whole set of natural laws, and the most detailed everything he's ever seen. The air moves sometimes (but not all the time), the grass has layers underneath it, and the trees sometimes have things living in them. All things considered... it's depressingly good. What's he supposed to do here?

Age of Swordsmen Online
Let me ask you a question. Did you ever play a game so passionately, that you were able to play it for hours and hours, without even noticing how the time passed by? And then imagine being stuck… But you’re not only stuck because you can’t get any further, but you are also stuck because you can’t get out anymore This is the story of gamers, or should I say brave swordsmen who fought to clear the game, to beat the boss, to be alive. This is the story of a game, the story of… The Age of Swordsmen *************************************************** A guaranteed chapter every Monday + out of schedule chapters when I feel like it :pAuthor's Note: First Novel I ever published here. May remind some of SAO, but yeah... It actually isn't really like SAO at all. I would appreciate any corrections of grammar/spelling errors since I'm not a native English speaker. In addition to that, this is a 'First Draft', so I may edit a few things in old chapters when I feel like it.

The Core of a Factory
An abandoned steampunk arms factory, in the middle of a conflict torn former state of the Empire it served, gains a soul. This transforms it into a Lord, capable of turning land into power. Beset by enemies on all sides it must figure out how to win the war its creators lost a century ago. This is a progressive Dungeon Core novel (which is to say the core will progress and expand in scale, eventually) across multiple dimensions with different characteristics (e.g. steampunk, magic, mythological). It has rationalist leanings (paragraphs of reasoning) and litrpg leanings (there are stat blocks). The core game mechanical idea is something like "what if different flavors of magic power actually did come from controlling land" and then the story is: "what if there was a flavorless (artifact deck) dungeon core". Chapters will be relatively short (my aim is that in three column format each would fit on a wide screen monitor), the first few chapters - setting up the main character and mechanics - are currently the longest in the entire series. I write chapters in blocks, and then release them one a weekday (M-F; 6 PM GMT, unless RoyalRoad's publish thing screws up) until I run out. There may be a few days of gaps here and there if someone finds an egregious error I have to re-write around or if I am behind. In general though one can read this once a weekend. I may do slight retconns and edits, I'll make sure to put it in an authors note if I do.
