So Hi, I didn't think I'd actually do this. I was trying to stall a bit and I spent like a month maybe a bit longer than a month trying to fix this but I've come to absolutely hate this story. How should I put this, it became far too convoluted. This was my first story and I had so many ideas I wanted to use, and in the end I put too many in here. Everything grew unnecessarily complicated, and things were going nowhere. I've been writing the drafts for the next few chapters, and re-writing them over and over and over again for the past month now. And it was going nowhere., and I hated it.
So too put it simply this story is being put on an extremely long hiatus, which basically means I'm dropping it. I plan on coming back, and I still plan on writing my other stories but I wont be updating this one. Now if you feel like it I have two other stories, one I'll be updating rather often and the other I'll be updating biweekly. I'll put a link at the bottom of this announcement so if you feel like checking them out feel free to do so. From here on out I'll just be talking about a few things, related about the story and myself.
The Part that doesn't matter as much
So, why don't I talk a little about this story. I created this story about 2 years ago, and it was absolute shit. So, I dropped it like I did now, but then I decided to rewrite it with the help of my friend. And I've managed to write far more than I ever have, and slowly but surely I've been improving. I looked back at the prologue and first chapter and I realized just how bad it was, and edited it and probably a couple month from now those edits will become just inferior as I grow as a writer.

And you see I wanted this story to be about a normal person, with built in plot armor. It was a little joke since I always love joking about plot armor, so I thought it would be interesting to let the main character understand that fact too. And I wanted all the problems the MC faced have to do with his immortality.
He can't die, but other can. He can save himself, but he can't save others. This is the sort of struggle I intended for him to face. I also wanted him to face what it meant to be an immortal monster, what it meant to be a Demon. I wanted him to face a number of scenarios that would force him to question his morals.
But you see there was one problem I encountered. I made our MC a lazy person, because as a lazy person myself I could more easily find a solution to his problems by putting myself in that scenario. And if I wanted him to get stronger there I had something to motivate him, which was quite hard since.
Anyways I suppose I should end it here, and this is rather good time for me too end it. A lot of exams are coming up so I can focus on that, and there's all sorts of stuff going on irl. So it's best that I just stop now instead of making you guys wait. And honestly I should have done this earlier, so I suppose I should apologize huh.
Well it's not like this story will never continue, it's just that whenever you see it again it's going to be different. See you guys whenever I rewrite this story.
