《Another World and I'm still rich?》Chapter 23. The Fight and saving Vivian.

We walk to the huge courtyard and go to the opposite sides.
"Toell! Kalevide! Hydra! Stop attacking and go protect the group!" (Colin)
I listen for a while and I hear no sounds of buildings being smashed so it means they have left.
I look at the enemy king and that grin is still there.
"Are you ready? I want to end this and fast." (Colin)
The grin becomes slightly larger and he is kind of looking like the Joker by now...
"Ready anytime." (King)
I grab a stone from the ground which is a decent size.
"When this stone hits the ground the duel begins." (Colin)
The king just nods and I throw the stone.
The stone hits the ground and I instantly charge towards him and close the distance.
I throw a punch towards his temple from the right side but he uses his hand to block it and throws a punch towards my right elbow.
I try to grab his left hand but when I almost grab it he dissapears from infront of me.
He laughs and throws a punch from behind me and I couldn't react fast enough so it hits.
I throw a fast punch towards him while turning but he isn't there again.
"What the..." (Colin)
Another punch from the side and I try to hit him but he isn't there again.
Another punch from him, another miss from me.
"Invisibility? I could atleast track very fast movement... But I can't see you at all..." (Colin)
"Ah, you found out already. But it's useless." (King)
He throws another punch from below me towards the chin but I barely dodge it as I saw the hand that was supposed to be invisible.
Another punch from the side and it hits but I saw something hit me before dissapearing.
So he has to come out of invisibility to punch me? Or the invisibility dissapears when he throws a punch?
Wait... I forgot that this world is like a game...
Another punch from behind me and it hits but I don't even try to hit back.
Full-invisibility even for high bosses in games is impossible, too overpowered... Always a weakness...
So this is his weakness in the invisibility, the invisibility dissapears when he attacks.
A punch towards my eye but I grab it and hit him in the stomach.
"You forget that my reaction speed is fast." (Colin)
I hold onto the King's hand as I hit him in the stomach repeatedly and then try to break his hand by smashing it towards the wrong angle.
He fully comes out of invisibility and a black and red ball is surrounding his fist coming at me very fast.
I jump back instantly as I have a feeling that isn't a good thing to get punched by. Ever.
"Guess just invisibly punching you to death slowly is out of the game... Time to use everything I have." (King)

His body starts to get enveloped with the black and red flame and something inside my brain is sending off signals...
It isn't danger signals... It's...
"The ritual!?" (Colin)
The king looks at me instantly when I say it instead of looking towards the sky.
"Where... Did you hear about that!?" (King)
He comes at me throwing punch after punch but I barely dodge or parry them.
My guess was right... This king is actually using the Ritual as a means of power... Or more like the Ritual is using him as a means to control the kingdom...
I summon a fireball behind him and freeze his legs with ice and throw the fireball at his back.
The fireball hits but it just angers him as he smashes the ice and the black and red flame grows ever bigger.
Punch after punch he throws but his patterns become more and more simplistic...
Like... An angered mob's...
I had completely forgotten that this world is almost exactly like a game... Just real.
I envelop my hand in Ice and hit him in the heart area freezing it and then I jump back.
"Light Magic: [Holy Sight]" (Colin)
A huge eye-ball like light appears above me and I aim it towards him and a stream of light hits him face on.
"The best element to use against The Ritual is Light closely followed by water. I gotta thank that old woman..." (Colin)
I stop feeding mana to the Light Magic and it dissapears.
He is kneeling on the ground but the instant the Holy Sight comes off him he charges forward.
"Light Magic: [Guardian's Light]" (Colin)
The 2nd strongest Light magic I know... Guardian's Light.
It looks like a really small regular ball of light to other element users but the damage it inflicts upon things that are infused with the darkness element is insane.
The ball hits him and the light shines bright and he screams in pain.
"Oh yeah... This thing is also like a flashbang..." (Colin)
I walk towards him with another Guardian's Light hovering around me.
"The moment you showed me you were part of the Ritual you sealed your fate. Most of my Light Element spells are especially good against the Ritual. I met one other Ritual user before you... Let's just say he had a lot of Light for breakfast." (Colin)
The King turns his head toward me and looks at me even though both of his knees are deep in the dirt.
"So you were the one we were warned about... The one who escaped the Ritual's grasp. Just like that old woman... Don't worry, you won't survive for long. I won't let you. You are a danger to the Ritual. Vivian will join our ranks soon... She has resisted my attempts so far but it won't be long after your death that she will join us!" (King)

He tries to get up and grab me to kill me.
I t hrow another light at him as I jump back.
"Grand Light Magic: [Spear of the Saints]" (Colin)
The only grand light magic I know of... Also... Bye bye 5/10'th of my mana.
The spear is massive, it's basically as long as a mountain and about half of the courtyard's size.
I drop the spear right ontop of the kneeling King and it pierces through his head and slowly goes through his body splitting it in two.
"Aaand now my mana is only 1/10'th of it's usual. The Light category of Elements uses a ton of mana... Too much sometimes." (Colin)
I go towards the dead body.
"Ice Magic: [Eternal Ice]" (Colin)
And there goes the rest of my magic. I need to be extra careful with the Ritual. I don't know what it is directly capable of so... Just in case.
Eternal Ice... Literally the only ice that only the creator of the ice can break.
"How much XP did I get off of this guy...?" (Colin)

Yup that's quite a bit...
Wait... Vivian!
I rush inside the castle and go straight towards the Throne.
The collapsed Vivian is still there and I break the chain holding her.
I pick her up from the ground and I look at the other slaves here.
"10 rows of pillars... This is going to take a while alone... I have just enough mana for these guys... Wind Magic Summon: [The Ten Speedsters]" (Colin)
Speedsters. Annoying little things to keep track of. They are two and a half times faster than their summoner.
"Speedsters, break the slaves out of their chains." (Colin)
I hear a faint laugh before all ten of them dissapear and the sound of chains snapping, flying into the air and hitting the ground appears.
A few moments and all the slaves are free.
"Speedsters, come with me." (Colin)
I leave the throne room and the ten speedsters surround me.
"Carry me and this girl towards Toell the Great." (Colin)
The Speedsters jump up, laugh and then instantly pick me up and Vivian up and run through the city in a few seconds leaving behind only a lot of broken pots and such due to the speed.
We reach Toell, Kalevide and the Hydra in a few seconds.
Toell and Kalevide are talking to eachother in some kind of language... Possibly Estonian.
The Hydra is just demonstrating what each of the heads can do to all of the guild members.
I forgot that my Summons share 1/10'th of my intelligence...
The speedsters gently drop Vivian and me down from their back and dissapear.
The speedsters look kind of weird... Like glowing 4 legged tiny kind of mutated horses but actually they are on two legs and the front two are actually arms to help carry stuff but they can use arms as legs.
I hear the unique snickering laugh of the speedsters in the woods, Toell and Kalevide speaking.
"Summons, come back to my mana pool." (Colin)
I de-summon all of them and they dissapear as they turn into my mana. I now have 2/10'th remaining.
The Guild members come closer to me and look at Vivian.
"This is why you were saving? The person who saved your life?" (Lily)
I nod as I look at Vivian.
Tiron coughs and everybody seems to understand and backs off.
I go closer to the campfire the guild has set up and put Vivian on the soft grass there and put a blanket from my inventory ontop of her.
"We shall decide what to do after Vivian has woken up. Possibly we shall meet one of my other helpers. I doubt they know I am alive though. After we have met up with the Resistance and passed on the info that I defeated the king we shall head into a capital of a major kingdom, possibly an Empire if there is one around here and settle our new HQ there and begin building our own Trade Empire. Everybody understand my point?" (Colin)
They all nod with excited faces and some of them have relieved faces that I have survived and not changed much.
But now that I know that the Ritual helped create a massive mega-kingdom... They shall try to do it again. But with more things to counter me.
They are starting to make a move just like the old woman back at Sanctuary said. It won't be long before they start attacking everything in the world at once.
All the more reason I need to make a solid Empire to stand against them... And fast.
I barely could defeat a medium-ranked pawn of theirs using almost all my magic... I cannot hope to defeat the actual members of the Ritual...
I need to get stronger and I need to create a strong Empire to stand against their assault.
Is this why I was brought into this world?
To defeat the Ritual and bring order?
And why do I have a feeling all this money is going to be VERY useful in supporting the war effort against the still mostly unknown Ritual...
