《Superficial Story》Chapter 22 - Second Gods Meeting

I have come to the god’s reunion place.
The atmosphere is solemn, but fuck me if this motherfucker doesn’t look good being 20 times smaller than me.
Yeah. Seated in the middle of Ziphur and Sunnis.
Not a subordinate of Sophia anymore, I see.
Good to see you as a Neutral God, Jaur. Good to see you like that.
Except I’m not liking the sound to my right.
This motherfucker… he’s talking on his sleep.
[God Emperor] - zz.. ah…. Aah…
[Notice]: By requisition of God Jaur a Divine Judgement Session has started. The required god may now expose his plea.
Jaur got up from his chair.
He’s looking as stupid as ever.
[Jaur] - Goddess Sophia, even though it costed me the post as your subordinate, the process has now begun. It cannot be stopped anymore!
[Sophia] - …
[Jaur] - Your Majesty!
[Notice] - Activation word noted. All that’s being spoken by God Jaur now will count towards the Official Records. No lies are permitted.
[Sophia] - Jaur, please stop that! Calling up a Divine Judgement is a thing, starting up the Official Records is an entirely different matter! You’re dooming us all!
Sophia is rising from her chair.
Jaur just looked at her with contempt.
[Jaur] - I now declare God Messiah as a violator of His Majesty’s Will! Please restrain him!
[Notice]: Capital Offense has been declared. God Messiah is being evaluated. Capital Crimes verified. God Messiah is being restrained.
[Notice]: By the might of the God Emperor’s Authority, you have been restrained. All divine powers are reduced to the minimum during this session. Denied.
[System Notice]: Higher Authority Tier has been detected. [Writter]’s Authority has been put into practice. God Emperor’s Authority is being overwritten. Restrainment of Immortality is denied by the system. Restrainment of Contract with an Outside-Local-Pantheon demon is denied. All of the contract’s clauses are protected by the [Writer]’s Authority.

Everyone else, except Sophia and Nina, is pale white.
Jaur’s mouth has dropped and he’s gagging words.
Don’t tell me…
“Hey, Jaur… you… have you really thought the God Emperor was the highest authority there is?”
He’s looking at me while blinking surprised.
[Notice]: Goddess Sophia desires permission for Telepathic Chat. Would you agree?
Allow it.
[Sophia] - “Don’t tell them. They have been tricked by him.”
“Tell me this story right. How come they don’t know about the Fantasy Pantheon Rules?”
[Sophia] - “It’s a long story. They are all new. Lived through this universe only. The Emperor is everything to them. Now that Mia isn’t here anymore, even I didn’t knew some things… like how the beings above are called [Writters].”
“Right… here’s the thing. I will keep my mouth shut, but you will own me.”
[Sophia] - “I own you already.”
Nice.
Really nice.
[Jaur] - Y.. you… what was that? What trickery was that?!
“You see Jaur, I suppose you’re a new guy here, so I will give you a small idea about what is happening. Your God Emperor isn’t the top authority there is. He answers to someone’s authority. And I have come here under such an authority. Do you get it now?”
[Jaur] - You… you… you have more authority than the Emperor? You?!
“Hey, hey, hey, no need to get all worked up. I don’t have more authority than him. I’m just protected from him using his authority to crush me. You can say I’m here to show you guys how unfair this one has been.”
[Jaur] - How… unfair…
His face turned sour.
“You just tried to look it up on [Omniscience] and got blocked, didn’t you?”
[Jaur] - How do you know that? At least your [omniscience] should have been limited!

“And it was. But I can see you as if you had a human body. I don’t know if this is just how the worlds of gods get translated into my view to emulate me being a god, or if this is also how you see each other, but I can see your face now and it has shown your emotions wonderfully.”
[Jaur] - As if we were humans… as if we…
“Tell me, Sophia, is this how I see it, or is this how they really are?”
[Sophia] - … I can’t answer this question.
“Let me guess. Other thing the Emperor God decided they shouldn’t know, right? No worries. My omniscience is limited, but it’s here yet. And some kind of questions he doesn’t has the authority to deny.”
How should I ask this…
Right.
The way I see the other gods is how they truly are?
[Answer]: Interference. Denied. The way a King-Class god sees other gods is the one in which he or she can take most benefit out of it.
“Niice. Here is the deal. I see you like this because this is the form I take more benefit from. A King-Class god will see other gods in a way that benefits him. I wonder if I can see you like you want to be seen?”
[Answer]: Yes. Such are the methods.
Nice.
Let’s see them how they want to be seen.
Jaur is a small sphere. A sun. Sophia is a woman enveloped on radiant, peaceful light. Ziphur, Sunnis and Amida are pure concepts without form. Craftiness, Survival and Wisdom, Knowledge.
And Nina is just Nina.
She keeps a human form then. Interesting.
“Very interesting. If I was seeing you like a Sun I surely wouldn’t have noticed your emotions so easily. Now, I want to show you many other things, and show you that I’m not your enemy. But you need to give me a chance to do so.”
[Jaur] - A CHANCE?! AFTER ALL YOU DID, YOU WANT A CHANCE?!
I’ll restrain the little bitch.
How much to keep him tied up and shut up?
[Answer]: Impossible to interfere with other god while Divine Judgement is upon the gods.
Shit.
“YES I WANT A CHANCE! BECAUSE YOU FOLKS ARE BEING USED BY THIS IDIOT HERE, AND IN WAY WORSE WAYS THAN I AM!”
My voice echoes far stronger than Jaur’s.
Indeed, he is kneeling on the ground while holding his ears. He and all of the lesser gods. Only Sophia is just lightly bothered by it.
I think being 20 times bigger than then is more than just for show. I can actually injure then with my might, eh~~
“This stupid ritualistic form he made you guys get in, for example. We don’t need to be twenty times bigger than you folks. And he doesn’t need to be twenty times bigger than us!”
[God Emperor] - Do my way of ruling the realm bothers you, outsider?
What dreadful eyes on my back.
The motherfucker is awoken.
Shit.

Attie, a young boy who has from a young age not been able to speak or utter much of any sounds, and his exploration of the world using his gift of spiritual sight as the anchor of his power. It will be slow going, but power is granted suddenly and viciously, the story will be centered around a world gradually being exposed to supernatural powers and entities and how these changes affect mankind and individual people. Multiple main characters, some with stories that intertwine and others entirely separate and distinct. Heavily character focused. --- Any critique about anything at all is greatly appreciated.

The Mentor
This one is for my daughter. She talked me into it (again) and it is her favorite genre of books. So, Bet, this one is for you. The true-bloods, the masters, they came first. That was hammered into Heath's head since he could walk with both words and fists by Karen. As a guardian and half-blood bastard of his vampire father, he would never know peace. His duty as a dhampir, his duty was clear, his fate sealed. Heath was to serve Gerald, an aging Vampire Lord, one who was of pure blood, born to the race, until Heath outlived his prime and then he would pass on the knowledge that was passed to him onto a new bastard to carry protecting the bloodline. But was it necessarily his fate? Could a sterile half breed such as himself, someone who did not exist in the human world, live anywhere in the world on the light? After a particularly nasty encounter with his Mentor, Heath is on the run. Set on not becoming the new guardian and knowing that decision has now marked him for death. The hunt is on and somewhere behind him is Joshua, the heir of his Master, and the thing that plagues his nightmare, his Mentor Karen.
