Nanomana, a particle so tiny that it would’ve taken forever to discover if it weren’t for some random accident in a certain lab. Anyways, nanomana was a rare particle, unlike the abundant amount of atoms. So far, humans have only discovered 2 of these so called “wonder particles”,

What does nanomana do? If used correctly, one nanomana can power the world’s electronics for several thousand years. One nanomana can replace the sun after it dies out.

The world leaders thus poured their resources into creating ways to find more nanomana. Space exploration developed, and thus the [AR Program] was created.

[AR Program]. Meaning Advance Reconnoiterer, specially designed robots would travel the vast empty space and collect nanomana.

The G10 was considered the pinnacle of human technology, but G.E.A.R has a self evolving function that would make it’s potential leagues better than the G10 series. Using Bio-Tech, G.E.A.R. is an ever-changing being.

Capable of calculating tetrabytes of information instantly, it has copied the internet into it’s head. It can also act as an organic being if necessary to experiment with the biology of otherworld species.

G.E.A.R. was launched in XXXXX and is now scanning the milky way for nanomana.

Forming before the diamond shaped robot, a figure of a man appeared. The man? was unusual, having no distinct features. He was colorless, had no face, no skin. In fact, it was more appropriate to say that the man is nothing more than gas.

“Ah, humans really have progressed too far. It’s always a shame that civilization cannot reach past a certain standard. At this rate, the secret of immortality will be discovered. It’s a shame, but humanity has to end.”

All living creatures on earth disappeared, leaving a barren world. At a deeper level, their souls were destroyed, the energy causing the world of earth to change. Gravity flickered, friction disappeared, temperature rapidly changed.

The earth started to collapse inwards, as if destroying itself. Soon, the planet was no more.

“Ah, my job here is done. Oh wait, I forgot to create life. Hmm, luckily we have a suitable planet to host the next generation of hominums. Might as well use the resources from these other planets. Actually, why don’t I just combine all these planets together. Okay! It looks like I’ll work on this planet for a while.”

As the being who wiped out humanity continued to work, G.E.A.R. was having an internal breakdown.

Several other warnings went off in G.E.A.R. and it has concluded that since it has no objective and no master to listen too, it should just observe the strange being’s actions.

“Oh my! What an interesting toy these humans made. An intelligent creature without a soul. It’s similar to a robot, but it has self awareness. Hmm, if it had a soul, I wonder what kind of interesting things this will do?”

“Scanning… It has been determined that nanomana can interfere with the laws of the universe. Now gathering the surrounding nanomana. Creating a storage tank to contain the nanomana. Now constructing the basic formula for planet creation - Progress: 0.000001%]

“Wow, without a clear goal, he started to observe my actions. Unfortunately, he has too little knowledge to be able to create a planet like me. Maybe I should let him get some more knowledge on magic. Hmm, is there a suitable world? Oh yeah! This planet should be only concentrating on developing magic right now. If he combined his knowledge of science with magic…”

Turning back into a man shaped being, he opened a gate in space. A strong suction force pulled G.E.A.R. into it, and the hole closed.

“That’s done. Now to continue to work on this planet. I’ll check on him once I’m done, which will probably be in a few thousand years or so."
