Mages and Warriors have different ranks in their training.
For Mages:

Once a Mage reaches the peak of Magus Highgod 3rd Stage, they are offered a chance to become direct disciples to the respective Elemental Highgod. For instance, a Fire Magus Highgod 3rd Stage will become a direct disciple to the Fire Highgoddess Igniss as a Fire Apprentice.
For Warriors:
Novice 1st Stage Novice 2nd Stage Novice 3rd Stage Novice 4th Stage Novice 5th Stage Fighter 1st Stage Fighter 2nd Stage Fighter 3rd Stage Fighter 4th Stage Fighter 5th Stage Warrior 1st Stage Warrior 2nd Stage Warrior 3rd Stage Warrior 4th Stage Warrior 5th Stage Master 1st Stage Master 2nd Stage Master 3rd Stage Grand Master 1st Stage Grand Master 2nd Stage Grand Master 3rd Stage
Because there are less stages for Warriors with each stage equivalent to the respective Mage's stage, Warriors at Grand Master 3rd Stage can never be stronger than a Meister 1st Stage.

For a Cultivator:

Naturally, for Aldred's cultivation stages, each stage is comparable to two of the stages for instance, a Qi Gathering 1st Stage is on par with Novice 2nd Stage, a Qi Gathering 2nd Stage is on par with Novice 4th Stage, and so on. Once Aldred breaks through to the Aura Stages, each stage is comparable to three of the stages so, at Core Expanding 3rd Stage, it is comparable to Grand Meister 1st Stage, but when Aura 1st Stage is reached, the cultivator will be on par with Magus Demigod 1st Stage and so on until the Highgod stage which is as powerful and maybe more so than the (Element) Highgod stage.

I tend to not enjoy the psychological tag too much since stories with the tag tend to be a little insane for my liking, but I feel that I would be remiss not putting it on this story, since a lot of it is about the psychology of the main character.
