“Pant… Pant… Pant”
Breathing heavily with sour stench of sweat stinging my eyes as I awoken from my slumber. I wiped my face off with my newly cleaned and sweaty shirt as I placed the Virtual Visors at the wooden cupboard next to me.
I sat there quietly thinking of what had just happened on the warm and wet bed as I shuddered because of the incident a few minutes ago. Feeling the burning blood run through my veins and the goosebumps rise on my skin, I couldn’t help but laugh because what I felt wasn’t fear, but rather excitement of how realistic that was.
“Heh… Damn you Mother, To think that you would brutally kill your own son… And his first death at that” I muttered as I could feel heat rising heavily throughout my brain.
Sniff, sniff… Urgh… I change my mind. I’ll take a cold bath first before I complain to my mother.
Standing up on my feet that felt heavy, I walked across the hot and plain bedroom from my bed past the ray of light that shone through my window to the floor, as I made my way to my plastic wardrobe with sweat dripping from my forehead.
I brushed the sour sweat that rolled into my mouth with the help of my forearm as I searched for a set of clothings and made way to the bathroom outside my bedroom on the second floor of the hallway.
Half an hour passed and I found myself struggling with mother at front of me as she cooked food…
“MOM!” I whined as I held my head and scrubbed the black hair as I felt dumb.
“You didn’t tell me you played as a man! This misunderstanding wouldn’t have happened if you had told me… Gosh!”
“Hohohoho” She maliciously laughed with the knife at front of her mouth.
“Even so, Noobs shouldn’t attack one of the best players of the Second World” she lectured me, chopping the large cucumber at front of her.
“Besides, I have had enough of the men that taunted me because I were a woman! Even though skill, experience, information, level and gear decided the strength of the player” She ranted as I could hear the chopping get louder.
“Even so… Why!? You could have spared them at least…”
“Pfft… I finally found your notorious guild’s hiding spot and you want me to skip that chance? No way!” she said laughingly.

Facepalming myself of my clueless stupidity, I questioned her “Mom! How could you betray your own son like that… I didn’t invite you to destroy us...”
She dropped her knife gently to the table as she turned around and stared into my eyes fiercely that made me shiver through my spine “Gold… Everything for gold, even my son in exchange for gold...”
I gaped… Mom you are so COOOL! And evil..
With a soothing pat on my head that felt comfortable she then asked “Besides, why are you a rogue? You look more like a barbarian to me…”
“What?! Even big guys like me want to be stealthy…”
“Pfft… I could hear you from miles away with that big body of yours”
“Damn you mom! I’ll have you know! Don’t act high and mighty because of your special class! I... I will start a new and get my revenge!”
“Pfft… Please try… And if you do, start going solo instead of ganging up on people… Big Chicken”

Sitting on the soft comfortable black chair at front of the bright light from the computer with the cold breeze that could be felt on my skin that the air conditioner let out, which I had forgotten to activate before going into the virtual world. I let out a heavy sigh depressingly as I braced for impact in the chatroom from my virtual friends that had a cooldown of 1 day together with me that was 4 days ingame.
With my chilly fingers of hesitation I typed on the mechanical keyboard “Dear comrades… I am sorry for what had just occurred, but I decided to disband the guild and restart my character because of the recent incident” “Enter”.
“Plup” “Plup” “Plup” “Plup”....
Reflexly, moving my head closer to the screen as the speakers let out tons of signal of messages being sent, I could idly read.
Guy 1: “Traitor!”
Wannabe Guy 2: “You planned this didn’t you?!”
Guy 9: “I knew it, I saw him running alone after he sent us to attack!”
Wannabe Girl 4: “I WILL HUNT YOU!”
Guy 2: “Yeah me too! I will find you, and I will wreck you!l”
Guy 7: “Lets create a new guild and camp every city until this bastard quits!”

Eh... That escalated quickly… I thought while leaning backwards and acted tough that I didn’t regret my decision. Soon after I held the back of my head as I raised it to stare at the scene outside of my window.
Trying to recall the memories of the start of my adventure 1 years ago in this room, while I savoured the scenery. I saw that the big white clouds slowly passed by my window, as the sun that once shone brightly, turned the background orange as it fell down behind the building at the other side of my mother’s apartment.
Smiling eagerly towards the twilight as I couldn’t wait of what they had cooked up for me, something then struck my mind “Oh, maybe I should create my new toon while I wait”. Scratching my hair with excitement as ideas flew into my mind, I stood up from my chair and walked towards my bed and picked up the Virtual Visors from the cupboard, laid there on the bed.

“Welcome to Second World” A feminine voice said that echoed through my mind as a sudden bright light blinded me as it surrounded me. A white field that I had seen countless of times was created starting from my feet as it endlessly stretched out to as far as my eyes could see.
“You are in cooldown for 3 days in game or 18 hours left in real time.” The system said with my character displayed behind the window of text.
Yeah, you could be in this world 4 times 1 hour as the developers had made it that way so that people could spend more time in this world as they still had work to do in real life.
With a heavy sigh of hesitation, as I gazed at my cool and largely builded character I had spent over 3 years of ingame time of playing. My toon looked nothing like me, but I still wanted to feel how it would feel to be my ideal… Closing my eyes, I took a slow and heavy breath and I finally decided “Delete Character”

“Beef Lover will now roam the world as a AI” A message that brightened my mood for once and made me smile. Hopefully his notorious status won’t kill him early.
The developers that made this game a year ago called the Second World. Brought with them the VRMMO that had the greatest success as the game crushed nearly every rival out there. With the help of their new AI that could control and build the world for them and even create more AI’s, Hence you could always expect something new as you start your adventure into the world that updates itself every second. With a nearly 99% immersion as every NPC with their unique personality in the world felt like humans, they also gave out self generating quest that was very unique especially at higher levels that could change the world in the game itself.
While patiently waiting for the loading bar at front of me to fill up, I could finally soon after create my new charecter.
