《Rivalry I Live for》Chapter 13. The battle

Okay, I got 6 potions that restore 200 health each. No mana potions cause I never thought I would need to use my mana. A shield I cannot use because of my legendary weapon that can appear on my palm at will. Diamond which is useless because my intellect is too low and probably because it is a Yeti that lives in the cold north. Luckily, I have the barbarian armor that is perfect against a Ice yeti or whatever it is called.
… I have to use physical damage against this creature and avoid physical damage itself...
And at front of me stands a fierce fluffy and broad giant Yeti, glaring at me with red eyes.
Yepp… I am totally screwed.
“Diamond, cover his eyes with the lowest mana cost spell if he gets near me!
“Roger, that could cost 5 mana for a tiny cloud”
I’ll have to use my size and range to my advantage! Raising the axe above my head, I threw it towards the Yeti, that only scratched its pelt…
“ROOOAR!” It charged towards me.
“Axe!” I said and it returned back to my grip.
“Diamond!”
“Working on it”
As a chilly cloud, blinded its eyes, it started to swing its arm confusingly everywhere at front of it. Running to another spot further away so that the Yeti wouldn’t hit me with a lucky swing. I kept throwing the axe at it, as I kited the boss.
Yeah, hit and run.
Concentrating my throws on one of the legs, I wanted to cripple it, so I could use my weapon throw to my advantage.
After a while, the right leg started to bleed, the Yeti crouched angrily trying to soothe his leg, breathing a sudden [Snow Breath] around everywhere in the arena because it was blinded.

“Diamond quick”
“Working on it!”
“Ah, shit he is coming!”

Argh! I flew towards the icy wall with a “thud” as the Yeti continued its combo with a charge.
“Diamond the eyes!”
“Roger!”
Rolling out of the way, the blinded Yeti crashed into the wall, a few parts of the ice stairs fell down onto the platform and the wall itself crumbled a bit onto the creature.
Taking my chance I took a health potion and went into melee against the Yeti that seemed to be stuck with its head in the wall.

It roared and the arms that was trying to get the head out, swung instead at the rear.
Jumping out of the way, the hand of the yeti barely scratched me, but still I flew a few meters landing with my back onto the icy platform gliding my way to the wall.
41 Damage taken
Shit, trying to stand up, the Yeti now outside of the wall used [Snow Breath] more concentrated at my direction. Since it now knew kinda where I was even when blinded by touch and sound of my armor scratching the ice floor. It got me stuck on the wall.

“Diamond!”
“Working on it!”
Ah shit, if I get rammed here against the wall, it will be a instant critical death!
The Yeti now being able to see again since Diamond tried to melt away the ice with her ice spells, charged towards me with a roar.
Frozen debuff removed
Quickly pushing myself away from the cold wall as the Yeti closed in on me, the Yeti flew head first into the wall, but didn’t forget to swing his paw at my back as it was close enough for the cloud to be ineffective.

Flying head first into a wall nearby, I tried to drink a potion but…

Urgh! If only I could use my shield!
Simultaneously we both got out of our debuff, quickly I moved toward the stairs hiding myself as Diamond worked with the cloud blocking the eyes. Drinking 2 health potions even though it wasn’t efficient, I had now 3 health potion left.
Can’t take my chances, full hp at all time!
Throwing my axes for a while as the Yeti used [Snow Breath] around it confusingly, it started to bleed at every part of its body.
“Master bad news, you are soon out of mana!”
Ah crap, nodding as I kept throwing my axes, I tried to hit as many as possible instead of going for the critical hits. Better safe than sorry.
Soon after what I feared happened.
Mana depleted
Hoping that the sudden disappearance of the cloud would confuse it. I threw my axe against its head, gambling that if it does, I can blind the eyes.
Although… Because of its violent arms swinging around the body to block my recent barrage of weapon throws, it deflected it.
“ROOOAR!” It retaliated with a large [Ice Bolt] that flew towards the staircase where I was.
Quickly dodging by running, it kept using the spell as I ran for my dire life back towards the platform.
Staph!
Suddenly a icebolt covered my vision of the background, accelerating quickly towards my eyes. Kicking the icy wall, I landed on the platform and rolled around to limit my fall damage taken.
Parkour success, no damage taken.
But that wasn’t the end of it, since the cloud didn’t blind the Yeti anymore, it caught me off guard with a [Snow Breath] aimed directly towards me…
Crap...

‘Diamond!”
“No mana…”
“...”
Slowly the Yeti went towards me… I trembled as the cold took over my body. I am so dead…
“SWING” “Splitter” “CRACK”
Pieces of my armor broke, I flew towards the floor back first and glided on it until I hit a wall.

Yepp, it’s over…
As I sat there with my back on the icy cold wall, tattered pieces of my cape, broken pieces of my gear. I waited with my lifeless arms and legs on the cold floor for my death.
“TONY GET UP!” She tried to push me up
Heh.. “Diamond… I can’t”
“TONY!” she cried hitting my check…
Hey, I am a player…
“Please! I finally got out!” she said, crying under my chin as she tried to push my chin up, that stared lifelessly on the icy cold floor.
“I can’t…”
With the help of Diamond, I could now see the bloodied Yeti, walk closer to me with a grin. It soon after stood right at front of me with a fist raised to the air.
If only I had a shield at front of me…
“...”
“TOOOONYYYY!!!!”

Galactic Internet: System Initializing Book 1
The Galactic Internet is a system takeover LitRPG with two MC's. It's gritty and dark at times, so I'd like to start with a brief warning. The story was made for adults, and as such contains some cursing, potentially traumatizing violence, gore, indentured servitudes. There is no sexually explicit material in the first book. However, there is nudity and sexual interactions aren't out of the scope of possibilities for later in the story. The first book is almost exclusively trying to figure out how the game works and trying to stay alive. It is a very open system that I've implemented. Expect to see anything from androids and aliens, to goblins and trolls.

I am...*sigh* a speck of dust.
Hey, I'm...well, I'm not human anymore so I don't suppose that name matters. Anyway, just call me D. Why? Cause I'm dust. Not like, "Oh, no one notices me, it's like I'm dust in the air", but like..actually just a speck of dust. Nothing exciting going on, no action packed fights or cringey romances. Just...dust. I have a little system menu and everything, like all the 'OP' protagonists, but I mostly use it for the notes feature. Like right now. So, if anyone ever sees this, like, if the System stores it somewhere or whatever, just move along. Nothing special here.
