The world of Asela, a vast world that is divided into 4 wide continents. There exists numerous beings that live and dies. But in this world, there is an existence feared by many. They are ferocious beasts, beasts that absorbed the dense amount of energy in the world, resulting in many different mutation and evolution, turning into what is now called ferocious beasts.
But in this large continent, humans, elves, beast men, dwarfs and numerous other beings also exists, may it be in harmony or not.
Even so, hunted down as prey for the beasts, they joined hands in the face of common enemy, and after many blood shedding years of countless generations. They finally came up with a way to fight back against the beasts.
Cultivation.
With their new found strength, the races fought back, and the continent have finally stabilized while the relationship of the races have turned tense once again.
The world of Asela then passed through the years with numerous changes.
But on a certain day on the continents, gray clouds looms over what should be a star lit sky. Countless stray lightning sometimes leaked from the clouds and smites the land of Asela. But the residence of Asela are more worried of the huge fluctuation of energy in the atmosphere and the fact that many beasts in the continent are rather quiet, as if in fear of angering a mighty existence.
Within a continent located in the west, there stands a tower which pierced through the dark clouds above surrounded by a city which reaches far and wide. But unlike how it usually is, the tower currently shone with a luster as it shook with a deep rumble. Weirdly, the shaking of the tower did not affect the land on which it stood on, as if a certain power separated it from the land underneath it.

In other continents, similar events have also taken place. In the east, a certain tree which seemed as if it could support a world, in the south, a certain ancient temple which could make one’s blood boil simply at the sight of it, in the north, a certain mountain range which looked just like the body of a slumbering dragon. They all shone with a luster and shook deeply without disturbing the land.
But no matter where this happened, this event shook the heart of numerous people who noticed this event, from the common to the royalties.
At the same time, in a desolate mountain where blizzards happened all year round, a boy stood on an edge of a cliff surrounded by many snow white wolves. Surprisingly, this boy has snow white hair and a pair of ears atop his head that looks almost exactly like the snow white wolves’. Currently, the man and the pack of wolves are staring intently at the clouds covering the skies, when suddenly the boy’s eyes turned sharp as he stared deeply into the clouds.
But after muttering some words, the boy shook his head as he lightly sighed before turning back and entering a wooden cottage.
In an even farther place, until finally reaching a small island in Asela, a group of women are currently kneeling respectfully in front of a single woman with her back facing them. Each of these women have charming features that is above the common, which naturally makes one wonder for what reason they bowed down to a single woman of similar, or even younger, age.
But the woman that is standing right before them is currently staring intently at the sky, as if trying to discern the secrets behind them.
She then suddenly turned to look at the other girls, because of this, her face that was hidden by the shadow of the clouds is lit up by the light of the surrounding torches, revealing her charming features which could even defeat those bowing by many folds.

"From my reading, I found that this event will be the start of a world-changing era for us, but may it be a fortune or a misfortune, it is all up to fate to decide."
The voice of the white robed woman sounded out like the chimes of a divine silver bell.
None of the kneeling women have a change on their faces, as if what she said had nothing to do with them, but that doesn't mean their heart is worry free.
With a sigh, the white robed woman walked back into a large mansion not far from the cliff, with the numerous women silently following behind.
As these figures contemplated about the events that traversed the continents. A small crack silently showed up on the looming gray clouds.
Unnoticeably, a beam of golden-white light shot out of the crack before flying out towards a certain direction that was soon pursued by other beams of light.
Not long after, the crack slowly dissipates together with the looming clouds, while the fluctuation of energy returned to normal, together with the beasts of the land.

Marrow
Marrow was old... older than me or you. Older than the nation he lived in. And older than anyone he knew. Which is not surprising, because he did not know anyone else. He had been sitting, or perhaps leaning is the more apt expression, in a closet for many, many years, and had done nothing but stare. But eating, or rather chewing, a spider opened up another world to him. A world with a voice that was talking to him - to HIM! Marrow did not get what the voice was saying, but that was secondary at this point. And Marrow started to feel restless. Nuff said. If you like a sometimes quirky skeleton as the main character and want to ride along for its coming of age, or perhaps rather coming of sapience story... give it a shot. It is a litrpg context with skills, levels, heroes and monsters... and a skeleton. Not sure yet how fast the skeleton will level... we'll have to wait and see. As a disclaimer... this is my secondary novel... my main story is ongoing and most of my time is dedicated to that. As such, new chapters will, at first, be rather infrequent and irregular. If things go well, I may shift more attention to the story, but we shall see how things go.
