Chapter 36 -Why Did I write Chapter 36?No idea?Well I have no idea too!What a coincidence!

The Soaring Dragons and Phoenixes Tournament was a rare tournament or festival to be exact.It only happened once very five hundred years.That year,the headmaster would create imaginary phoenixes and dragons.Their mighty figure would make several cultivators of the young generation breakthrough to the next layer or even breakthrough to the next realm if they were lucky.

But the real charm was the Dragon And Phoenix Ancient City.It only appeared once every five hundred years and the young generation would fight inside a arena made especially for this by the city itself.It is said ththat the city was created by the ancient DragonPhoenix Clan.The DragonPHoenix Clan was an ancient clan which had existed for almost eight hundred thousand years before moving out of the continent towards a middle tier continent.It is said that after they left the city,which was their main headquarter,the Dragon which made the Headmaster famous appeared.

But that was another story.Kongxu woke from his secluded cultivation barely containing his excitement to tell him this,”This Ancient DragonPhoenix Clan Is no pushover!They had an Elemental Emperor amongst them,easily giving them a place in the high tiered Elemental Continents and a core place at that!They probably left a lot of treasures behind.There should a treasure to open the second stage of the Ancient Locket!”

The second stage was simply one of the ten stages of the Ancient Locket.Each stage was better and better.But each need a better source of supplies and resources which pretty much are the same.That was a golden chance for Mazir to solidify his Cultivation now,as it wasn’t actually as strong as a steel.The Soaring Dragons and Phoenixes Tournament would start two years later.It was enough for Mazir to become an extreme and ultimate Elemental Spiritual Cultivator,and be able to fight Elemental Masters,which would fight there,and also perfect his skills.

Skill and others perfection went in stages:Low,Medium,High,Top and Peak.Low was 10%,Medium 30%,High 50%,Top 70% Peak 90% and there was also the lost stage,Max 99%,with none reaching 100%.It was impossible to reach perfection,because simple perfection made things not perfected,it was difficult to understand.

His main opponent would probably be Ren,who would reach the peak of the Elemental Master Realm by then,it would be extremely difficult to defeat him,as he didn’t know his elements or even martial art style,he knew nothing about his powers.He only knew the Gran Clan’s speciality,”Chaos and Life”.But only the best young generation cultivators were allowed to learn any of them.

Mazir laughed madly in his mind.Void was simply Void.It was easy to understand but at the same time hard to use.The Void Clan,Kongxu were descendants of people who comprehended Void a bit.That enabled them to use Void naturally to a certain degree,and Kongxu was the father of the Void.He was the one who could use many Void Abilities.

Soon a few months passed.He had reached the intermediate layer of the Elemental Spiritual Realm and was resting.Lang was also resting,having breakthrough to the third cycle.Beasts had it easy to breakthrough.They sleep and the next moment they are ten times more powerful,but in exchange their comprehension is a thousand steps behind the Human Race which have it harder to breakthrough.That is the cost for bigger strength,lower intelligence.

But their birth rate is a hundred if not a thousand times faster and bigger.Beasts have a bigger chance of breeding more than three beasts.While Humans have a small chance of breeding three humans in one shot.This made the humans and beasts reach a peace treat for the moment as they both wouldn’t falter.It simply would rise the pointless deaths of humans and even more beasts.

It wasn’t easy to enter the Soaring Dragons and Phoenixes City and Tournament,but Mazir had the qualifications.If not him who else had the qualifications then?Ren?Yes he had them,but what about the others?Before him even Ren was like a wyvern before an ancient dragon.

Leaving that aside,maybe only the Elemental Masters of the Academy would have a chance to enter the city,leaving free cultivators without a chance to enter,after all it is the Headmaster who opens it with his powers,there was no way for the free cultivators to be allowed inside expect rare occasions.

But the last person he expected to came,CAME.It was an Elemental Lord,and an even stronger tha Deanth!The door slowly opened as the figure of a young man appeared.He had deep blue eyes which pierced through his body and light brown hair which reached the beginning of his neck.He was wearing a black robe with long sleeves and dragons sewed inside.He was Chi Yunqi,part of the Elemental Academy’s Council.His cultivation was peak of the eight star,almost reaching the ninth star.

Behind him was a single person or lady to be exact.Her hair was brown and light,reaching the middle of her back.Her eyes were light green and penetrated Mazir’s heart,but he didn’t retreat,showing no weakness.She looked so fragile that a single touch might kill her,but her cultivation was extremely powerful,the peak of the Elemental Grandmaster Realm.She was Cuyu Yunqi.She was the strongest of the True Disciples,her cultivation was real but she was not young.Her age reached 17 years,but her cultivation was shocking.

“Senior Martial Uncle,why did you visit this lowly self?”

Mazir was fast to act and said,slightly making Chi more happy,”No need to show such respect on me,just calling me Brother Chi is good enough.”,”Then Elder Brother Chi.” Mazir said,not daring to call him simply Brother.

Chi Yunqi was around 2500 years old and was very known for his strange hobbies.”May I know why you came to this humble self’s house.Elder Brother,Chi?” Mazir asked and Chi’s face became serious,”I came here to warn you.You probably have learned about the Ancient Dragon And Phoenix City by now right?There will probably be many factions trying to kill you as you are a problem in their plans.I will give you a few treasures to survive but I have only one condition.”

Mazir pondered and then sighed,”Fine.”It was true that many factions would try to kill him if he didn’t join their side,which was 100% impossible.”The only condition is protecting my grandchild,Little Cu.” Mazir smiled,”That is no problem!”He knew why he asked to guard her,even if her cultivation was powerful her heart was fragile and she probably wouldn’t be able to kill let alone hurt or injure something.But Mazir had the right thing for this situation.

Chu Yunqi took out a Spatial Ring and gave it to Mazir.Spatial Rings were rare,they could take any form but their space was limited and could only store dead things.Mazir nodded and put the spatial ring inside his spatial bag which was a level rarer.But Chu Yunqi didn’t notice it at all.Saying goodbye,Chu Yunqi left and closed the door.

But Mazir was smiling looking at the treasures inside the Spatial Ring...
