Chapter 30
somewhere during the night ghost tracked us down through smell, with Lucy following her. At that point it got difficult to hold on to my physical form, I didn't even realize I was making an subconscious effort to hold on to it. I never thought I would do the equivalent of tentacle play for shadows. After a while we all get tiered and fall asleep, after all, I haven't slept in days.
I am standing in the middle of a city square. There is a mansion in front of me, a temple behind me, and on either side there are stores and shops that look like they belong to wealthy merchants. All are burning. The red glow that is cast on every surface is very beautiful. I hear screams from men, women, and children on all sides while they try fruitlessly to escape the infernos grasp, all except for me. I just stand there watching everything burn.
Been a while since I've had a dream like that' jack
The location in that dream does not exists in this world, I've checked. I'm what is commonly referred to as an old soul, which are rather common. Basically it's someone who retains some of there memories from there previous life. Around 80% of people retain at least some memories from their previous life, 40% of that 80 can remember details from their previous life, 10% have memories from a different world, 1% can perfectly remember their previous life. The last one is easily spotted during childhood due to their unnatural determination. I belong to the 10%.
I look over at the succubus next to me and smile. I owe this girl so much, if it weren't for her I would probably be training myself to death, literally.
I get up and notice Johanna playing with her sister, causing ghost to have a very wet dream based on the moans.
"hey" jack
"you had one of those dreams, didn't you?" Johanna
"yeah, I did. How could you tell?" jack

"your eyes, they glaze over slightly after waking up from one of those dreams, what was it like?" Johanna
"it was beautiful" Lilith
"So, you watched my dreams last night." jack
"of course, I always watch your dreams" Lilith
"so what happened?" Johanna
"fire" Lilith
Johanna just looked at Lithe funny before returning her attention to ghost, who had woken up. Ghost leans up and whispers something in Johanna's ear, which I can't hear. They both look at me with a dangerous glint in their eyes. Suddenly ghost starts howling and I start to feel very, aroused.noticing this, as sucubi always notice when men are aroused, Lithe casts a spell.this particular spell prevents pregnancy, ghost has a similar one that has to be applied orally.
Then the four of them tackle me and we spend the next couple hours the same way we spent last night. Who knew tentacle play could be so much fun?
An hour before noon we finally stop only for my duel. An hour later I am standing in the center of town opposite rostwood, their are a lot of spectators and I see money changing hands,a lot. I try to listen into what they are saying.
"10 seconds"
"1 minute 30"
"death"
"slavery"
"15 seconds"
it sounds like they are betting on both how long the fight will last as well as the punishment for the loser.
"are you ready?" rostwood
"yes I am. The question is, are you?" jack
"sure" rostwood
"start!" announcer
As soon as he said that I cast invisibility on myself and ran up behind him, surprising him. I put my daggers up against his neck.
"you cheated" rostwood
"how?" jack
"you used magic" rostwood
As soon as he says that I give a huge grin.
"I cheated? No, you never said that magic wasn't allowed. When you start a duel you have to specify every detail of the rules, including the punishment for the loser. In the case you don't specify anything you can do anything. Meaning the only things that were absolute with this duel was that it would start in the center of the village at noon. I can do or take anything I want from you, your free will, your life." jack

I can feel him shake in fear as I said this.
"you obviously haven't studied the laws here to any length" jack
"what if I don't admit defeat?" rostwood
"I'll kill you" jack
"I coincide" rostwood
"louder, so everyone can hear you." jack
"I ADMIT DEFEAT!" rostwood
"good" jack
I hear snickers from all around.
"total length. 1 minute 30 seconds. Now, what is the losers punishment?" announcer
"his free will, he is now my slave" jack
'I didn't realize you swung that way.' Lucy
'I don't, you are a pet. He is a slave' jack
'Ah' Lucy
rostwood is now your slave
I hear some over excited 'yes''s and some various curse words from the spectator.
I walk back to the old mans place, who,in case you haven't relied yet, is the village chief.
"I saw the fight, not much of a fight if you ask me." zain
"true, it was rather boring" jack
"so when are you going to let me retire?" zain
"soon" jack
I walk into the dining room where the 6 humans are finishing their lunch.
"you six follow me" jack
When I say that they all get up and follow me quietly. I start leading them to one of the largest buildings in the village. I open the door and see a training dojo run by a personal friend of mine.
"ah, jack. I heard you're back in town." trainer
"I bring gifts" jack
When I say this his eyes grow wide and sparkle as he looks over the humans I have in tow.
"fresh meat?" trainer
"give them hell." jack
As soon as I saw that the six turn to me surprised.
"traitor!" jacobe
"I trusted you" Joe
"why!?" sally
"should have seen this coming" Selena
The other two just sigh, realizing why I was dropping them off here.
I smile and walk away, ignoring the pleading of the humans I left behind.
"oh yeah, I almost forgot. Give them each one of these." jack
I turn around and toss a bag with six bracelets over to the trainer. They are a more powerful version
of the ones I made before.
I then meet up my new slave. As soon as I see him I cast blind on him. He falls to the ground clutching his eyes.
"why?" rostwood
"you rely on your eyes to much" jack
I walk away leaving him to ponder on what I said. I get back to the house and go into a certain room. This room has maps, all kinds of maps. I find one in particular, a map of the world. This world has twelve continents, none of them are connected by more than a narrow land bridge. Each continent has several countries, with one being the most powerful on each continent, the so called continental countries. No country has ever conquered an entire continent, or expanded off of their continent for that matter. Currently the church is in control of the countries on 4 continents, with a foothold in 2 more. This content is one of the 4. The church disconnect the population from the rest of the world, trying to keep them ignorant of magic. So that only 1% of the population, other than upper ranking church members, have knowledge of magic. It's a dark age yet at the same time an age of technological development. In these last couple years things like guns and cars and some other things have been developed the humans on these continents. (things like radar and satellites don't exist, the current internet was made by the church using magic. Not that anyone but them know
that)
satisfied I jump out of the window and head over to the hotsprings for a relaxing dip.

Collective Thinking
Dyna Graves grew up thinking she was special. An exception to the average. Not necessarily above her peers, but simply outside their context. However, toward the end of her high school life, she started to realize that nobody was really special. At least not in any fantastical way. Just as she started trying to figure out what she wanted to do with the rest of her life, she got an invitation. A psychic institute scoped her out, realized her psychic potential, and asked if she would undergo psionic training at the Carroll Institute. Almost immediately, Dyna realized that she wasn’t quite up to the same level as many of her peers. Surrounded by clairvoyants and mind readers displaying obvious abilities made her own lack of ability all the more apparent. That was, up until the researchers and scientists of the facility realized that there was a bit more to Dyna Graves than met the eye. After an explosive incident during what should have been a routine experiment, Dyna quickly found herself wrapped up in a world of cutthroat espionage.
