Chapter 31

as I walk over to the hot springs I notice Lucy and ghost accompanying Joe, sally, Jacobs, selena, and the twins parents. All of the walking toward the hot springs. All of them are hot and sweaty.

"I see you've been training." jack

"that's right, you bastard. why'd you leave us with him?" Jacobs

As he says that he rushes me and strikes at me as hard and fast as he can, I jump and land on two fingers on top of his head, upside down. Then Joe takes a swing at me from behind, not that it makes much of difference as I can see 360 degrees anyway, I spring off of his head causing Jacobs to collapse and lightly bring my feet over joe's head, knocking him down in the process. All the while ghost and Lucy were laughing.

"next time you attack me like that I won't go so easy on you, I will expect a good fight. After all, the only thing I respect is strength." jack

"I'm not going to forgive you for what you put us through" Jacobs

"the girls are too exhausted to speak!" Joe

"I'm surprised you have the energy stand, much less attack me." jack

"who the hell came up with this regime?" Jacobs

"I did" jack

"were you trying to kill someone!?" Joe

"yes, I was." jack

That seamed to shut everyone up. After a short pause ghost was the first to speak.

"lets go to the hot springs I've heard about." ghost

"is there mixed bathing?" Joe

"why would there be anything but?" jack

At this everyone looked at me funny.

"oh yeah, I forgot. The church preaches that being naked in the presence of a member of the

opposite gender is a sin. And that reflects on the culture of their territories." jack

Now, instead of looking at me funny, they were just surprised.

"although at this time of night everyone is at home in bed, especially since it's close to the full moon, so we should be the only ones there" jack

"now that you mention it I did notice a coupe people without cloths on, I just assumed that they were prostitutes doing some advertising." Joe

"fuck it, I want a bath. I don't care if jack or any one else sees my naked body anymore" selena

"sorry, but you're not my type" jack

As soon as she says that Joe gets a mischievous glint in his eyes. At about this time we reach the hot spring, where lilith and Johanna were waiting. It was a rather uneventful, although we had a couple

interesting conversations

"so, you're some kind of big shot hear, huh" Jacobs

"I am the third most influential person here, after the chief and his wife. The fourth is aunty." jack

"how the hell did you manage that at 15?" George

"depression and suicidal tendencies" jack

When I say that everyone goes quite and Johanna puts on a rather rueful smile.

"oh, by the way don't expect much help from me anymore, fight your own fights" jack

When we get out I walk with the girls back to the house and the humans go back to the training

center, after all they are going to be training first thing in the morning.

After a bit of fun time I fall asleep, only to see a familiar goddess.

"hello jackline" jack

"hello jack" jackline

"I'm assuming this is business, not pleasure" jack

"it is, how could you tell?" jackline

"I don't see Johanna around" jack

"true" jackline

"anyway, what's up?" jack

"someone wants to talk to you" jackline

"based on the fact that you are a goddess of death I can assume that it's a dead person that has yet

to reincarnate, but who would want to talk to me? My parents? They died a long time ago their already reincarnated by now, right?" jack
