you have gained the endurance stat
endurance increases by an additional 60
in addition the following things happen:
the number of young in this forest will rapidly increase for the next year
plants will grow faster for the next year
after this time is up the forest will become much more dangerous for intruders
"well i really lost track of time." jack
"so did the rest of us, not that I'm complaining." Johanna
"i haven't had an orgy like that in years" dryad
"well, see you next full moon. we need to be getting back." Lilith
"your leaving already?" nymph # 3
"unfortunately, we have things we need to do." Johanna
i look around for ghost, who is laying down next to one of the nymphs. the nymph is still playing with the completely exhausted wolf. Lucy is leaning against the tree, supported by Lynda's tail, who is sleeping in the branches above her.
"it's time to go." jack
"alright" Lucy
"wha-" Lynda
as Lynda rubs the sleep out of her eyes she sits up, when she looks at me she starts blush again. i put my cloths back on and head over towards ghost. the nymph that was molesting ghost muttered a complaint and got up. i shake ghost awake to tell her it's time to leave.
"fine." ghost
ten minutes later we walk back into the village. i tell the girls that I'm going to check up on our human friends and walk in the direction of the dojo i left them at, with the girls in tow.
"again!" trainer
"yes sir!"
i watch as they all go through basic forms immaculately. except for Joe that is, he misstepped and tripped, earning him a hit on the head from a large stick the trainer caries.
"i see you are all progressing smoothly." jack
"they are, although that is mostly due to the enchanted bracelets you gave them." trainer

"good" jack
"i think they should be good for today." trainer
"perfect, i was going to take them to the bar." jack
"i would love to come, but i have other trainees." trainer
"ah, don't let me forget to come meet them letter." jack
"alright, dismissed!" trainer
as soon as he says that everyone relates and comes up to us.
"whats this i hear about a bar?" George
"you should try the local specialty." jack
"I'm not sure i want my children going to a bar." George
at this Jacobe and sally droop their heads a little.
"not like you get any say in that, they are technical adults here." jack
"and what is an adult here." George
"anyone that can fight their own duels, or is older than 15." jack
"when in Rome do as the Romans do, right?" Jacobe
"right." sally
a couple minutes latter we are siting at a table in the bar and a waitress comes over.
"the usual, jack?" waitress
"yes, and get one for all of my friends here too." jack
"I'll be right back." waitress
after she walks away Joe speaks up.
"somethings been bugging me, how are you going to have children if all of your lovers are different species? you know,
other than the succubus over here." Joe
"one word, power." Johanna
"care to elaborate?" Joe
"if there is enough power between two creatures, as long as it is physical possible, they can have children. although that
still can't allow you to have a child with someone of the same gender." Johanna
"in order, the ones most lily able to have a child with me, due to power and racial things, are as follows. Lilith, Johanna, Lynda, ghost, Lucy. the reason Lucy is last is because lich's can't have children till they reach arc-lich rank, no matter what." jack
"for half-lich's it is only grand rank." Lucy
"interesting" Johanna
"here are your drinks." waitress
the waitress hands out the drinks and the humans, ghost, and Lucy all look at me.
"what, just drink it. although it might be a little much for those who have never had alcohol before so you might want to

sip it." jack
they all start sipping their drinks. Johanna is already half done with her first glass, she's almost as resistant to toxins and
poisons as i am. as soon as i put the drink to my lips a dwarf comes and sits down in front of me, right next to sally and Selena, making them obviously uncomfortable.
"oi, godslayer, it's been forever sense we had a drinking competition." drunk dwarf
"if i remember correctly the score is 5 to 2 with me winning" jack
"aie, you are the only human i know of to out drink a dwarf." drunk dwarf
"I'm not human anymore." jack
"what are you doing hanging out with this lot of lightweights then? no offense Johanna" drunk dwarf
"none taken." Johanna
"I'm introducing them to the greatest drink in the world. and I've tried several from all around this world and others." jack
"that it is my boy, that it is." drunk dwarf
"so you know this, dwarf?" Selena
"oh yeah, he was one of my rivals for inheritance, till i beat him mercilessly in a duel. hes a good friend and rival, being the
best mace specialist in the village" jack
"so when will we get to specialize in a weapon?" Jacobe
"if your lucky, in four years. most do it in 5 or 6. although that was before the system got implemented, now everything
has gotten a boost so there's no telling when you'll be ready to receive a specialization." jack
"when do people normally start training." Joe
"at the age of 6." jack
"when did you start training" George
"at the age of 3" jack
it's true, after my parents died i got really depressed. as a relatively high ranking old soul i was more mature than most kids my age, which translates into me being suicidal. for the first couple months i didn't do much, but one day i looked outside and saw some of the young trainees out in the Field, and decided that i wanted to kill myself by working my body to death.
i asked the old man to let me participate in training, which he responded to delightedly. after a couple weeks i realized that just training like that wasn't enough to kill me, so i decided to do extra training on the side, i would go until i passed out every single day.
after a couple months of this Johanna noticed this, she had also started training early, though not as early as me. when Johanna noticed she asked to participate in the extra training sessions, she didn't do quite as much as i did, but she did do quite a lot. after a couple more months the trainers started to take note of my unnatural growth speed, and encouraged me to work harder.
after a year or two i figured that just physical training wasn't enough, so in addition to adding gravity magic enchanted bracelets to the training scheme, i started to add poisons and toxins into the mix, in order to develop immunities to them. of course Johanna didn't start with the poisons till a year or two latter but she did use gravity magic. every day i was increasing the load that i had to do, by the time i was 6 i could defeat some of the younger members of the village with ease.
i continued like this for a total of six years till Lilith raped me and i 'woke up' from my depressive daze. of course by that time permanent damage had already been caused, mostly to my Psyche and my hight, i should be about 2 feet taller than i am, my parents were giants. i also developed a cold personality during that time, i am practically emotionless unless the situation involves the people i care about, whom number few.
"what happened to you, you dazed out for a little there" Johanna
"thinking about the past." jack
"ahh, we had some fun times." Johanna
"we did, mostly after Lilith though." jack
"i had a lot of fun before we met Lilith, but i guess that would have been hard for you." Johanna
"what are you two talking about over there, the next round of drinks are here." Lilith
"the past. anyway pass me the big one." jack
we spend a couple hours in the bar before i have to help carry 6 humans, 1 dwarf, a wolf, and a half lich home, where Mary serves rolls, to soak up the alcohol. she then leaves claiming that the old man hasn't had enough of a beating today.
end chapter 37
next time we will get the past from johanna's point of veiw.

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne (1870) (Completed)
In 1866, ships of several nations spot a mysterious sea monster, which some suggest is a giant narwhal. The US government assembles an expedition to find and destroy the monster. Professor Pierre Aronnax, a French marine biologist (and narrator within the story) receives a last-minute invitation to join the expedition. As the expedition travels south around Cape Horn into the Pacific Ocean, the crew finds the monster after a long search and then attack it, but the ship is damaged with the three main protagonists thrown into the water. They are quickly captured and then meet the enigmatic Captain Nemo. ~ Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne and was originally published in 1870. Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
