《Ruthless Reincarnator》Intermission Chapter 2

The Traitor walks amongst us.
He can’t see me. I’m one of the Pure Ones.
God has told me.
Of how we should be aware of The Traitor. He who betrayed even God itself.
None can beat him. None can defeat him. The Traitor of Heaven walks amongst us, the Fallen Angel, the First Son of God.
And still we cannot go against him.
Such is the will of Yaweh, for he has created the Oppositor, the Betrayer, for us to live and also to test our faith.
This world is the world of the Betrayer, and we must find ways to overcome it without defeating it.
- “AAAAAAHHHHHH… PLEASE…. OH GOD, PLEASE, TAKE ME, GOD, PLEASE!”
Another screaming Elf.
The Indignant People who follow the Oppositors’ every last order.
I pity them.
God, however, has told me of their crime.
Since they decided to follow the Oppositor into decadence and depravity, so they have become the Indignant People.
Soon, a set of beautiful wings emerge from the poor elfs’ body. I peer deeper than the naked eye can see and a small, white Seed can be seen inside the child’s soul. Soon it will start to cover the childs’ body with the Holy Marks.
Rejoice. It is a Child of God.
From time to time, God will cleanse some of the Children amongst the Indignant People.
Such is his Mercy towards them. And for this God is Merciful.
I walk down the mighty Trees’ branch.
My wings flutter in the sky as I reach downwards, towards the Realm of the Traitor.
So God has told us, that the Traitors’ reason to be is us, but his power comes from the sea of Fire and Sulphur bellow the dirt of the world, as well as the Great Waters on the Unreachable Dark Sea above the Sky.
His power comes from Hellish Fire, and his power comes from the Eternal Sea.
Only God, whose mighty existence is not disturbed by those, is higher than The Traitor.
I reach bellow, and soon I began to see beings of great intelligence, but perverted by their lack of faith.

- Halt, White Archangel. What do you want at the Pure Crystal Heavens’ Ancestral Grounds?
A lowly one tries to stop me. Despicable!
- Out of my way, old woman. I bring the Word of God, of the True and only God!
- We do not need your Words, Archangel. We have Prophets amongst us as well.
My eyes turn cold as I touch my swords’ guard.
- Out of my way, I say.
The Old Woman, however, doesn’t do as I say. It spits on its own hand, and soon a small sword can be seen there. It immediately grows to the right size, spitting light of weird radiance.
Its shape remembers me of pain and fright.
- Do you really want to go against a Gatekeeper of Purity, Archangel?
It’s Seed isn’t only black. It’s so black looking at it is the same as looking at the Eternal Sea above. This one must have been touched by the Oppositor. I squint my eyes at it, cursing this lowly race.
- You dare to hold a sword against an envoy from White Heaven?!
- You dare to threaten the one Chosen to keep your despicable race away from our Ancestral Land? Get lost before I cut of your head and feed it to the Tree!
I grind my teeth, but there is nothing I can do.
God writes right on wrong lines. I cannot blame anyone else but me for my lack of foreshadowing in choosing this one Gate to access the Indignant People.
- May you be cursed, damn keeper. I shall return!
- Not while I am here, pawn!
The Gatekeeper stays at her post, while I flee. Soon I find another gate, and this time the useless thing in the way doesn’t dare to look at me.
Just as it should be.
I descend at the Palace and storm the doors open.
There isn’t a being here who can stop me as I reach the Jade Throne.
- White Archangel, what is the reason for your visit?
The lowly one at the throne speaks to me. Its’ hair is combed on an imperial style, and its robes are simple, but, still, made of fiery silk.

- I have come to tell your foolish people to surrender yourselves to God. So it has been foretold, so it has been decided, that War shall wage between our Peoples, if so it happens that the Gospels of God aren’t spread far and wide in your kingdom!
The one at the throne smiles a deceptive smile.
- You are a fool, Archangel. How many times has it been since the last time you told us these words? You know your White Heaven cannot defeat a single one of us in battle.
I tremble in rage.
- Your cowardice is despicable, useless man! How many more Pure Ones shall die because of your coward actions?! Shouldn’t you be ashamed of being made of Heavenly Fire?
- Pure? For all that has been told, for all that we know about the truths of the universe, these poor children whose Seeds are too white to be seen by the Overseers’ ever-present vision should live better if they die at once.
- Despicable! And you still call yourself a King, sacrificing your own people like that?!
- I have not a people, Archangel. I have students. Followers. They pledge allegiance to me, and that is all. If you come to massacre them, and they so ask of their teacher, then I shall protect them.
The debauching man in front of me makes me unable to hold the anger inside my heart any longer.
- Useless trash! With your profane teachings, how can they ask for protection !
I draw my blade and rush in front of it, determined to end its life once and for all.
We are the Pure ones of God, not playthings on your hand!
As I cut it, the feeling of my sword going through flesh reaches my arm. I grim.
It is as I thought. The legends are false.
There are no devilspawn who are protected by the Betrayer in this world. There are none who are above Divine Justice! The Pure shall prevail. That is all.
However, my illusion lasts only a single moment.
Pain takes me, as I fall to the ground. The useless kings’ laughter hurts my ears.
- Hahaha. Another one. You White Seed Archangels surely are stupid. Or maybe it is because you are defective from birth. When will you learn? You cannot touch me. You cannot touch any of us.
I hold the wound on my shoulder and look at the useless thing in front of me.
Why does God allow for such a thing? Why does it allow for the Betrayer to have servants on all races?
- You surely seem like you’re thinking some useless things, Aberration. Things like “’the Betrayers’ protection” or something. Shouldn’t you stop it already? It is clear what is happening here, and you should know it as well.
- Shut up, devilspawn! I have no need for the poisonous words of your tainted heart. My ears are to hear Gods’ words, and not yours!
The things’ face become cold and it looks at the entrance of the Palace.
- Very well. I hope you can hear it well over at the nothingness. You surely will expend a long time there.
The word frightens me. I take my sword and try to react in time, but the Tribulation comes faster than I could react.
My head rolls on the ground and my Seed is taken from my body.
I look at it, and something inside me smiles. The Seed I so long repressed, the one I was born with, brilliant and invisible to the Betrayer, except for a small dot of impurity. The Mark of Evil inside my Heart.
The mark has been taken and, now, I can finally die in peace.
Sin has been taken away from me. And so I can be with the Creator forever.
