“Mother. Father. You both are back!” Knowing her way around the manor, she ran to the entrance as her mother ran to hug her. “Did you both miss me?” She smiled, seeing how her mother and father had been gone for almost five days. Hun Lian followed after her miss who was always excited to see her parents when they returned from almost anywhere.
“En, we were able to find a couple of things that suit you.” Her father came up, seeing that both of their colors were yellow which meant that they enjoyed their time overall on the trip. Although, she could sense it in the air that both of them were still tired from the travel at the same time.
“Mother. Father, why don’t you both go and rest a bit. You both must still be tired of traveling?” Lin Ning knew that it was still early, but her parents needed all the rest that they could get while they were still home and on their vacation.
“Ning’er, we still need to be able to manage all the things that we brought home.” Her father said, knowing that they still needed to be able to put everything away while they could.
“Don’t worry. We can do it.” Lin Ning heard unfamiliar voices which made her turn her head to face three figures that stood at the doorway of their entrance. Opening her eyes, she took a good look at their colors which were green which she could tell that they were friendly. Even in the air, they were not giving off any ill intentions.
“Do we have new people???” Lin Ning turned to face her parents who laughed weakly, seeing how their daughter had no idea about the new people that they just hired.

“These three will be working in our home. I decided to hire two guards for you and another maid.” Hearing her father say, she did not expect to get two guards and another maid.
“Nice to meet you all. My name is Lin Ning. I hope that we can all get along.” Smiling to them, they felt a sudden warmth in their hearts which made them want to vow to protect her as well. Even though she was blind, they felt that she was no woman who could bring danger to them.
“My name is Xia Ling.”
“Duan Fa.”
“Qin Yun.”
Hearing the woman speak first, she then heard two men speak after which she would have to start knowing them by voice. “Nice to meet you all. Excuse me if I get any of your names wrong. I will have to depend on my hearing to know your voices.” Lin Ning apologized since she needed to know by voice only.
“No need to be apologetic. We understand that the young miss will get it in time.” Xia Ling did not want to overwhelm Lin Ning about knowing them too soon.
“Oh, this is my maid, Hun Lian.” Pulling Hun Lian towards them, the young maid nodded to them all and did not really care. As long as they did not think about hurting her young miss then she did not mind them staying in the manor.
“Nice to meet you all. Please be nice to my young lady.” Smiling gently to them all, they smiled back and nodded. Getting more people in the manor, Lin Ning had them help her put the things away while her parents were able to rest up for the day. Getting to know them all, it brought her joy to know that they were very kind to her. All of their emotions only made Lin Ning happier to know that she was not alone in her home. Making her feel safer, hoping that the stalker would finally stop showing up at least.

“How has Miss Lin been?” Cao Peizhi asked Shi Men who would be sent there to take a look at how some of their shadow guards were maids and guards there. Keeping an eye on how things were going over there for the time being .
“Miss Lin has been getting better with more rest for the last couple of days.” Shi Men did not think that his master would be so concerned over this woman which caught him by surprise since his master’s attitude had been getting better and better ever since he lost his arm.
“That’s good. What about the intruders?” Cao Peizhi hoped that they had been trying to look for the men who kept entering into Lin Ning’s home.
“We’ve happened to come across the intruders, and they seem to come from the palace.” Hearing Shi Men say that, it had Cao a Peizhi stop writing as he hated the sound of that.
“The palace? Did you find out where they had gone after they reached the palace?” Cao Peizhi did not like how the intruder was from the palace. Any person from the palace meant that there was going to be trouble regardless.
“No, they always manage to escape before we can even get to them. They know the palace well so that they can escape there.” Shi Men hated to admit it, but they were all clueless when it came to the palace.
“Is that so?” Cao Peizhi got up, going over to see that he would have to personally try and find the intruder himself.

The second prince had been stuck with finding evidence about his younger sister that he had not been visiting the Lin manor secretly. The matter of his younger sister had been such an uproar, he needed to take care of all the rumors that had been spreading around.
“Husband, you can’t keep staying up. It is getting late, and you’ve been up countless nights.” Hearing his princess consort say, she had entered into his studies with a bowl of soup.
“I have to. It’s for my sister. I can’t let her image be ruined so easily.” The second prince had only looked at the bowl of soup, seeing how his princess consort always brought it for him every night.
“Your sister has to be sure to keep an eye on her health. We do not know if she will be pregnant from this, but everyone is hoping not.” His princess consort did not know what else to say, but the matter had escalated so quickly. “Don’t stay up too late.” She left soon after, hoping that her husband was not doubting her. Once she had left, one of her maids had been summoned to her.
“Princess Consort?”
“Find out if that blind woman is still bothering my husband.” The second prince’s princess consort was a jealous woman and if any were to come close or even catch her husband’s interest, then she would not hesitate to get rid of them before he found out.
