Almost exactly at midnight, it was Nashi and Ume turn to take the watch alongside with the three colleges guy, the businessman subordinate, and the foreigner. Without nothing much to do or speak to the others, they silently trained and gained quite a few things. For Nashi, it was another Talent in Mace Weapon Mastery, raising it to the rank 2. While Ume, rather than got a Talent, she finally able to learn Bouncing Arrow Lvl 1.

Name Bouncing Arrow Lvl 1 Technique Cost 2 Cooldown 6 (3.5) second. Charging Speed - Range 5 (7) meters from the main target. Weapon Arrow or bolt. Effect Fires an arrow that bounces off from the target and hit another target. Deal 1 + Power to the main target and 3/4 damage to the other target.

In Nashi's mind, the skill looked useless. First, the damage plus itself wasn't that great and it didn't have much utility either. Though, compared to him an excitement was shown on Ume's face.

With a grin, she began to shot an arrow into the nearby trees, hitting it off and the arrow gracefully deflected to another tree but... what came out was a loud shout. The other's eyes widened in a surprise, especially the subordinate, he jumped out of his post and became the last one that turned his flashlight to the trees.

Though, for the siblings, they frowned their eyebrows as they watched the trees wildly danced. The familiar screeching that was embedded into their mind, a sweat didn't even feel from their forehead as they watched the numerous amount of goblins jumped out of the trees. Sadly, the goblins weren't the reason they frowned their eyebrows.

What bothered them was the goblins itself supposedly couldn't create that much of a shaking, unless they moved in massive number. With a bell echoed through the night, waking up everyone else. Nashi only muttered in the middle of that noise, carefully counting the number green dots that entered the corner of his Mini-Map, "...8...27...39." And the number kept going bigger and bigger even though Ume had repeatedly used FireBolt and shot her arrows.

On their back, 3 college guy, the foreigner, the subordinate and the cops began to equip their arms and started making a formation, while on the back the grandpa was evacuating the others that couldn't fight, including Yuzu.

But much to their surprise, Nashi charged alone to the sea of goblins. Clenching the mace with five goblin bombs on his satchel, he opened his assault by pulling the pin with his mouth, as the black goblin's head shaped bomb eyes shone in fiery red, signalling the fuse its off. He threw the bomb to the group of goblins.

The moment the bomb touched the ground, there was no fiery ball of flame or a heat. instead, it cracked, making a loud noise and creating an invisible blast that pushed the wind against his face, along with several goblins body parts and their stink blood.

The rest was their usual strategy, using Intimidation to paralyze the goblins in front of Nashi. As the metal mace bashing against the goblin heads, several goblins that he didn't enter his Intimidation range began to circle around at his back but only greeted by an arrow that pierced their body.

Others were dumbfounded by the way they fought, clumsy and stiff. Nashi only swung the metal mace while sometimes kicking and punching. One could tell with a glance that he never learnt a martial art yet, his efficiency and his brute power clearly shown the result as the number of goblins gradually decreased.

Meanwhile, on his back, Ume's pulled the string right below her chin with her right index pointing outward as if it another arrow. As her arrow pierced another goblin, she already nocked another arrow and without even aiming it another arrow was released and using her index to shot a firebolt if she needed to react fact.

Following their lead, the others broke their formation, hoping that they could exterminate the assault without abandoning their post.

But, much to their surprise. Nashi's technique point dropped to zero, and so did his Intimidation. As the goblins finally started to fight back, throwing rocks and swinging their weapons, indicating the start of their assault. Noticing this, without hesitation, he took the attacks and countered while they were off guard a series of notifications came to him.

Unarmed Combat Mastery is now rank II. +2 Damage when punching/kicking/headbutting.

Bite is now rank II. +4 Damage when biting.

Bludgeon Weapon Mastery is now rank IV. +10 Damage when attacking with a bludgeon-type weapon.

Ignoring the notifications while continued his strike, only stopping to block and avoid some of the attacks that directed in his head, chest or groin. While the rest of the attack he deemed as non-fatal and chose to withstood the damage while attacking another goblin.

As the goblin brains scattered on the ground, their organ pierced by an arrow, on a rare occasion their head would fly away. In the sea of blood, innard, scream and arrows. Nashi weirded out by the fact that usually, the goblins would run away when they already reached this stage but this time, their barked and their blood-crazed eyes wasn't shown any signs of retreating.

And what he thought of was right, from the trees, rather than another goblin or named goblin. A creature stood 5-feet tall, with its muscular green skin, it peered with tiny, observant red eyes at Nashi. As it shoved its longsword forward with a big grin on its face like it wanted to challenge Nashi.

Following the green creature order, the surrounded goblins moved out of their way, focusing on the other survivors but what met them was 5-kilogram mace, breaking the skull away from the back of their heads.

"Gii!!!"

Furious, along with its scream the green creature started to charge at him while the other goblins started to gather at Nashi's side. As the other survivor seeing the goblin broke their encirclement, they began to retreat while collecting the cubes in the process.

"Where are you going?!" Shouted the cop, the only one that kept slashing the goblins with his machete.

Clicking her tongue, Ume let them did whatever they wanted to do... for now, as she continued to shot an arrow, covering her brother's open back.

And as the green creature moved closer toward Nashi the clearer its name was. Lvl 8 HobGoblin Fighter. With its blood covered longsword on its side, readied to do a right slash, what met the hobgoblin in its way was a goblin bomb. Blasting away several goblins near it and destroying the right side of its stomach alongside with its right arm.

"Tch, annoying." Said Nashi when he saw the hobgoblin still continuing its charging without even stopping for a second.

But too bothered by the number of goblins that surrounded him, what Nashi did was throwing another goblin bomb, blasted a big chunk of meat away from hobgoblin left thigh and another one, widening the wound on its stomach up until its chest. And as the liquid of life poured down from his gapped stomach, the hobgoblin fell dead into its knees. Alongside with this was a notification telling him that Thug reached level 3.

The next part was exterminating as many goblins as they began to run with their tail between their legs. After several minutes, seeing that all of the goblins already escaped, feeling nothing worth would come out even if he chasing them. Nashi wiped the blood away from his face, casually sat in the pile of goblin corpses and began to open his Class.

Thug 3/12 Feature Frightening Lvl 1 Level 1 Intimidation Lvl 1. Level 2 Increase Class Status Level 3 (Choose one) Slow Lvl 1 or Haste Lvl 1.

"Slow or Haste eh." Thinking that the effect was kinda the same one in the RPG. While collecting the other items and giving it some thought... between decreasing someone speed or increasing it, he chose the former. Considering if the big baddy was too much for them to handle, rather than raising Ume or Yuzu movement speed, it was better for him to slow down the threat.

Alongside with the new spell, another revelation about status came into his mind. Considering that the only status the got affected 3 as its variable was Soul, his best guess was Break increasing debuff effectiveness and duration. And it was safe to assume that Boost increasing buff effectiveness and duration? Though it seemed like Boost also increased the ability range.

Though, with his maximum Mana in Thug 3, the best he could do was cast it once before he must wait for another hour. "But four second cast time huh..." Nashi muttered as he rubbed his chin. Then right after he muttered that Ume came showing off the level 2 from her Trainee. Alongside with her Spellcasting raised to rank II, Archery rank IV and Bow Mastery rank III

Trainee 2/4 Feature None Level 1 Spellcasting I Level 2 (Choose one) +20 progression to Slash Weapon Mastery I or +20 progression to Archery or learn Bludgeon Weapon Mastery I or learn Piercing Weapon Mastery I or +20 progression to Spellcasting.

Taking another progression in Spellcasting, a notifications came to her.

Spellcasting is now Rank III. +5 Damage when casting a spell.

After the allocation was done, being helped by the cop they spread and collected the items for quite an amount of time. in the end, they got: 37 cubes, 16 coins, 2 health orb, 1 mana orb, 1 technique orb, 1 spellbook and craft recipe and the last one 1 upgrade card.

"...Huh? Are you sure you two have checked every spot?" Said Nashi as he looked to annoyed Ume and the cop.

"Well~ Considering the others were running away with that many drops, I guess that's all we get." Said Ume as she began to tell what happened and directed her gaze to the group of college students seemingly tried to run away as they began to take their things out of their car but decided not to do that once they saw they were in winning side, then the duo businessman and the loner foreigner.

"Okay..." Said Nashi. Not like he could blame them for trying to run away. Still, he realized he did steal from the biker back when they ran from the city but considering the circumstances if he let them this time, they would 100% did the same thing.

There was a saying that children should treat their elder. Clenching his mace, he walked to those group of people and with a smile on his face. "Oi~"

"What?" Answered the handsome college student, while he tried to cover something in his car with a blanket.

But what arrived right at his face was Nashi's mace, blood spurted from his mouth and few amounts of his tooths flew into the air, without saying any words, he only took the last bomb from his satchel and in a cold tone, he said while stomping the handsome or not too handsome college student face. "I believe you guys are taking too many things."

Already clenching his weapon, one of his friends wanted to reply Nashi but got stopped by the blue-haired women in their group. "...Sorry, we'll give it back... but we already used some of the coins." She said as she opened the blanket and showing a massive amount of cubes with a skill scroll.

(...used some my ass, there's no coin or orb left behind.)

As he put the bomb back into his satchel, he took the cubes away with him and gave another kick to the handsome man stomach.

What followed was the foreigner silently giving the items back to him. Another 16 cubes, 5 coins. For the businessman duo, they gave him all 28 cubes they took without any coin or orb. Though like a pinata when Nashi silently smashed their chair with a single hit, he got the rest of their unused 4 coins.

In the end, after collecting everything from the others, he gave the grandpa etc 1 health orb and 7 coins. And considering the cop pretty much chose to help them rather than running while collecting the items, the rest of the items got split away with him, and while sorting the items that was the first time they knew the name of someone from this group, in this case, the cop name was Mori Samba.

As they didn't care much about how Samba distributing his status, Nashi raised his defence, perception, presence, break and casting speed each by 1, alongside with mana orb.

While Ume raised her precision by 2, 1 for speed, and 1 amplified along with the Spellbook and the technique orb.

As for Yuzu, it was 1 defence, 1 reaction, 1 resistance, 1 willpower, the health orb and the Craft recipe.

While Mori took 2 power, 1 speed, 2 perception and the Skill scroll.

In the end, the two college guys, minus the handsome one and the businessman duo was the one that needed to throw the goblin's bodies away from their camp. With the other two college girls and the foreigner as the one that took the watch duty.
