《The Fate of The Summoned (being ReWritten)》Prologue: Advent of a Champion (Part One)

Three Years Ago (Aethion Time)
Deep in the Palace of the Kingdom of Light, in an ornate chamber there stood many people. The most eye-catching of them would probably the priests. They were clad in gaudy white robes, with gold trim; many of them were elderly in appearance. Next were the Knights, the armor-clad soldiers present in many past kingdoms on Earth, though these were somewhat different, they glowed with a strange aura not present on Earth, Magic. The least eye-catching but still rather noticeable in their own right were the Royalty. They were garbed in clothes that befit them and their stature as Royalty.
There were four of them in the room, The King, the Crown Prince, and the two Princesses. The king was called Richard, The crown prince was known as Julius, though he had a Title that many referred to him with, The Beloved. It was given by the Goddess of Light after he near single handedly defended a large port town from an opposing army. The two princesses were twins called Kara and Tara; they were both vastly beloved by the kingdom, though in different ways. Despite the fact that they two of them were near identical, and possessed many similarities there are just as many differences.
The younger of the two Princesses, Kara, was eloquent in nature and was known to be noble and selfless. She was how many people of Earth would imagine a medieval Princess. She was loved by most of the Nobles and many of the normal citizens of the Kingdom. She was a skilled diplomat and speaker, and was the public face of the Kingdom. She and her sister were the same height and had the same face as well as the same voice, though that is pretty much where their similarities ended.
Her voice was more soothing and enchanting, and her blue eyes always had a cheerful and yet calming look in them. Her hair was an unnatural pink, unnatural on Earth at least, a common color among many in this world. It was styled in curling tresses that gently framed her face, while the longer curls cascaded down her back. She was tall, probably around 5’4” using an Earth measurement in comparison, though she held herself in a more graceful way than her elder sister. Though she was not trained in the ways of war, like her sister, she was incredibly skilled with certain magics.

While her younger sister was more like how the perfect princess should be, the eldest Princess, Tara was almost like a man in many aspects, she was extremely skilled in strategy and the ways of war. She was short tempered and was practically legendary for the victory celebrations she would throw after successful conquests. Her eyes were a ghostly ice blue as opposed to the slightly darker and gentler sky blue eyes of her sister. Unlike her sisters pink her, her hair was a dark red, nearly crimson in color. It was much wilder and unruly in appearance than Kara’s elegant and organized tresses.
While her sister was wearing an elegant and fitting dress, Tara was wearing something akin to armor, with a massive crimson great sword strapped on her back. She was arguably the strongest naturally born human in the Kingdom of Light. Originally she was near indistinguishable from Kara, but in the same invasion that granted her brother a Blessing, she got something similar. She was granted two titles, The Crimson and Warforged, and gained a unique class, Crimson Princess. Before that invasion, she was a tomboyish princess, but a princess nonetheless, afterwards though, she was a warrior, feared by many, while her brother was lauded, she was shunned by all but those she fought with.
The room everyone was in was mostly stone lined, though the floor was mostly dirt. In the center of the room there was a large mat of sorts laid down; on it an equally large magic circle made of runes was engraved. The runes were of all shapes and sizes, they were also of different colors, though certain areas held certain colors. The outer ring of the circle contained darker, almost black runes; towards the center of the Magic circle the runes became lighter.
Many of the occupants of the room had eyes on the circle, as the runes had all changed color shortly before, but most of the others were conversing among themselves. Suddenly the conversations in the room came to a halt as a flash of golden light overtook the room. Most of the occupants of the room were blinded, though a few merely squinted and waited for the light to fade. They were the only ones who could see the figure starting to show in the center of the light. They could not see much due to the blinding light obscuring the figure, but they could see a large figure taking shape.

As the large figure fully formed and stood, it became apparent just how massive it was. The figure easily dwarfed or matched even the largest armored knight present. As the light fully faded, the other occupants of the room were able to get a better look at him, for the being before them was unquestionably male. He had short honey blonde hair that reached the nape of his neck, covering one of his eyes was a long jagged scar. The man was wearing a pair of faded blue sweats, while his upper body was covered by an equally faded black tank top. One could easily see that is body held great physical power.
The muscles under his skin could be seen shifting and moving as he stood to his full height; it was almost as if his skin could barely contain his power. The faded shirt was stretched taut across his muscles; it was as everyone marveled at that sight, that he opened his eyes, which had been closed until that moment. His lids rose lazily, revealing golden orbs, a strange eye color among humans, but common amongst certain predators. Though he was intimidating enough due to his size and appearance it was only when he opened his eyes, that it was further enhanced as an aura emerged.
The instant the aura emerged; a noticeable reaction could be seen among most of the people present. One of the weaker willed soldiers present, a mere Palace Guard, collapsed straight away, and soon after a puddle and a certain acrid scent started spreading from them. Most of the other Guards, and Knights reacted differently to this Aura. The few Guards that didn’t faint were rigid, as while they were soldiers, they were not used to true danger. Most of the Knights had become alert as soon as the Aura started to spread throughout the room. A few of them had put a hand on their weapon of choice, or something similar while the majority drew their weapons and prepared to fight.
A few of them were even going to charge straight at him out of fear, among other things, the only things that stopped them were the fact that this was a Chosen, that said chosen was looking somewhat confused, and that their Princess and General, Kara had not reacted noticeably. Both of the Princesses had strange looks both in their eyes and on their faces, that were nearly identical, there were some who could probably recognize that look, but very few people were paying attention to those two currently.
They all paused as He spoke in a deep rumbling voice akin to an Earthquake, though it held an unexpectedly pleasant smoothness to it. “Well that is certainly new and unexpected.” He had been looking at the unfortunate Guard that had wet themselves when he spoke, though his last words were towards a strange screen that had popped up in front of him. It was strange as part of a message was displayed, then another message was super imposed over that one, the second message was apologetic.
