For the past few days, i spend time with Ayaka as i was mesmerize by her beauty. The people couldn’t warm up to me as if i wasn’t suppose to be here. My father would sometimes look at me with hate as if he hated me. I don’t know why he hates me but maybe it had something to do with my amnesia.
“I got first in my test again Onii-chan.”
“Wow! your really smart Ayaka.”
“Hehe.”
I patted herhead as she would always told me about her school. She seem to have fun going there. I envy a little about her since i didn’t have school yet it seems. But…
“Did you know when will i be coming back?”
“…”
As i said that, Ayaka became quiet as if she didn’t know. Maybe i didn’t tell her about my scedule yet it seems. Maybe i should talk about that with father…

As i return to my room, my pants began to vibrate as i pull something from my pocket. It seems to be a message to someone.
“Kagura…?”
A name that came out of my phone as memories started fo popped up. My head started to hurt as more memories started to come out of my head. It was vague but it seems that this person was important to me. As i tried to exit my room…
“Onii-chan…?”
“Aya-argh!”

Memories started to rush out of my mind as i remember something scary. It was Ayaka…

Ayaka killed our mother…
And i was abandoned by father…
“Onii-”
“Stay Away!”
“!”
She notice that my memories are coming back as i retreated back to my room. So everything, it was all a lie.
Why…
Why didn’t i realised this sooner? My instict, my cold sweat, the scared feeling, it was to warn me to stay away from her and this house. I shouldn’t even belong here.
“Onii-chan…”

Today was a great day. I died. It wasn't a great day because I died. No, it was a great day and I died. One has nothing to do with the other. Enough nonsense. Let's continue with the topic we're all curious about. Why was it a great day? I achieved my dream to transform my real life into an MMORPG. Grinding skills, leveling up, collecting coins, going on an adventure, and making progress on my main quest. The dream of every gamer. And no, I'm not mad. Let me give you some context before we continue. I'll keep it short, for we have more urgent matters to discuss. Art by: Roland Deaconu

The Storytellers
Myra Kahani lives in a world of gods and prayers. People around her constantly reach out to the gods for advice and suggestions at critical times in their life. But Myra has a problem. No matter what she does, she can't talk to the gods. When Myra meets Roam, an old, enigmatic Storyteller, she finally gets some answers. She learns of the origins of the Universe, the divide between mankind and their deities, and the important role that Storytellers play in her world. But the truth for Myra is just the beginning of her story. The Storytellers is a story that I began to develop from a series of shorter stories that I wrote for a mythology and folklore class. As such, they have a strong basis in the myths and folklore of various cultures and religions. Join me as I try my best to integrate these stories into my own and develop the world of the Storytellers and Myra herself. This is my first attempt at any sort of longer-form fiction so helpful advice is greatly appreciated!

The Pharaoh's Dancer
"Do you know what to do, Amunet?" A voice as sweet as silk whispered into the young girl's ear. Amunet didn't look over her shoulder, but shifted uncomfortably on her bare feet before nodding her head. A soft hand touched her back and urged her forward. All eyes turned towards the girl dressed in transparent linen with her dark hair tumbling down her back and her violet eyes lined by kohl. Every movement caused the jewels on her wrists and ankles to dangle and shimmer in the light. She raised her head and found the Pharaoh's transfixed stare. His jade eyes narrowed in on hers and the room became still and silent. Amunet bowed and, at the pluck of a harp string, began to dance.---cover by @AddietayDoes contain reference to some mature themes that may not be suited for a younger audience.
