《Isekai Harem Trope(WIP)》Chapter 7: Good vibes[Simon]

The training itself was exhausting and truthfully I sucked very bad. But I had them entranced, imagine a beautiful woman doing anything and making it the most interesting you have ever seen but now have the sex-reversed and you have my situation. Each strike or thrust they did was extremely precise and masterfully done, mine in comparison were clumsy if you were being generous. But they were eating it like sugary sweets to a sweet tooth. It helped my soul to see them trip over themselves trying to vie for my attention. My earlier outburst was all but forgotten and under the affection of two attractive women, I felt control return.
They kept pawing at me at every moment, which was both flattering and annoying. Whenever I made an error or asked to be shown a move with a bit more explanation, something they sucked at I realized, they would instead guide me by holding my hands and showing the movements while rubbing themselves on me as much as possible. I did not mind at first, as it was very good for my ego but soon training took a back seat to flirting. I let it go on because it achieved the actual objective; to bring them to my side.
It went on till a rumble came from my stomach making me realize I had not eaten since the early morning and we had been out and about for while, indoors with no actual clock so no way of knowing what time it was. When we came out of the dojo the sun was close to setting. They soon took me around to their favorite stalls to share a meal. By this point, they were sufficiently buttered up so when I asked.
"Am I still being arrested?" putting as much sad cute animal vibes I could muster into that statement.

"No, we don't think you are the culprit," answered Audrey for clearly personal reasons.
"Yeah..." chimed in Brianna remembering that it meant our time together was up and from the frown on her face, she did not like that notion.
"Then tomorrow I am supposed to get a team after my evaluation to apply for an adventuring license from my academy. Well, it was supposed to be today but I got distracted, when I do can I add you two to my harem?" I asked meekly, internally I knew this was a done deal.
"What you will?!" exclaimed both at once.
"I mean, yes if you will let me. I know that you are guard captains and I heard women get weaker if they join a weak man..." I said, there was a downscaling mechanic in the game to not power level weaker units in the game by assigning high-level female units but I did not how it translated to the game so hopefully, this will clarify, ideally the function does not exist at all but those hopes were dashed immediately when Audrey said.
"No worries. Even if we lose a bit of our stats, we are expert fighters and have a wide array of skills besides so choosing us as your first harem members will be a very good decision." going back to trying to sell herself.
"How about you? Don't you think you could be better than us with your charisma," asked Brianna only to be hit in the head by Audrey looking at her like she was the most hated enemy that ever existed.
"But I like being with you two..." I said with a deliberate dispirited tone to my voice.
"Really?! Then of course you can..." said both in unison getting lost in their thoughts by the end.

"Umm... Then can you both drop me off? I am scared of being on the streets by myself." I said coming to the biggest reason as to why I wanted them on my team, they acted like deterrents to all who had less than good intentions.
"Oh! Sure! Of course!" said Audrey with Brianna nodding her assent as well.
The journey home felt a lot more relaxing and I took in the world with much more depth. I did not know if it was the novelty but I quite enjoyed the lack of any crowd or bright lights brought about by the advent of modern technology, I knew I would be missing the convenience soon enough but at that moment the fantastical nature gave me a sense of adventure most people lost in my old world. Dark memories started to resurface only to be pushed down when I was a bright streak flash across the sky.
I stared up in wonder, in the game it was just a random night event that boosted your mood but here in real life, the romanticism of it all pushed everything else to a forgotten corner. I was only brought out of my reverie when two hands gently pushed me forward. Two soft smiling faces looking down at me with extreme levels of affection on their faces.
Soon I was brought to my house and as they were about to say their goodbyes I asked.
"Would you like to come in and meet my parents?"
"No! No! We are not ready. We have to prepare our hearts." said Audrey, looking flustered all of a sudden.
"Why? Is it not better to meet them now before we join?" asked Brianna only to be bonked again by Audrey who grabbed her, rapidly giving her goodbyes before dragging her off. Not before claiming they would wait near my house tomorrow to give me proper moral support.
That was weird, I expected more reluctance, not a sudden shift to leave. There was more to it but right now I had to steel my heart, I sadly could not lie due to my new constitution and my parents would surely ask about my evaluation. I will skip over the details but they were more understanding than expected like suspiciously so. They bought things that would normally cheer me up when I am sad when I entered the house. Suffice to say I was very worried about my evaluation at this point. What could be so nefarious is that they did not even ask about my whereabouts and only consoled my inability to go through with it today? There was no such thing in the game and if I could see my mood I was sure my anxiety would be rising. Though I was soon distracted by the juvenile gifts my parents bought. I forgot that my mentality was still that of a teenager and gifts were an easy way to distract me.
I went to bed completely oblivious to the trial that would be my evaluation day.

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com.
