《Isekai Harem Trope(WIP)》Chapter 15.5: An small explanation on monsters and Dungeons[Simon]

I never kept a pet before. Going from that to essentially owning a cat in the shape of a human was a big jump. Maybe that was why I spoiled this 'monster' so much. The way I came about this monster was also very novel. See, due to my unique constitution, I needed to orgasm a minimum number of times a day in different people. The problem was my seed was a bit special that made it very valuable and spreading it around might make the target very unsavory people. To combat this Elmyra the elf suggested(with a lot of anger and irritation at the situation) I use the succubae pens to meet the quota. People were hired to keep them fed and with her authority, I could have a discrete way of meeting my unusual needs. What she did not expect was that I could gain a unique class but based on my track record she should have realized something like this. Anyway, now I was saddled with a pet and a new pet class.
Turns out it takes years for people to gain a new class. Whatever, cheat I got from the transmigration at least gave me some benefits. A big reason I wanted to delve was that I had a larger than normal capacity for succubae pets, a variant that often occurs in monsters that is not properly understood, my personal opinion was that this was porn/hentai world but my angel disagreed whenever I made that distinction. Anyway, getting tame succubae was expensive so I needed to get the wild. Succubae research was one of the few distractions I enjoyed, which was a big reason for the push.
The party registration process was also a very fun time. There was a registration right in the academy. Finally, the harem feature of this world came to play to enter a dungeon you needed to become a harem, and this made it official that Brianna and Audrey were a part of my harem. Even my stat screen had a spot where it showed the current harem members which were cool.
Another fun thing was entering the dungeon itself. The outer body of a dungeon was a massive hexagonal dipyramid crystal in this shiny metal harness just floating with slow rotations. People entered a magic circle that surrounded and simply vanished, at the same time people came out of the circle in the same magical manner. I once asked what were dungeons to Elmyra exactly only to get stuck in a very long lecture. Now, I will not bore you with the 3-hour-long version but get ready for a lengthy explanation.
The gist of the matter is they were playgrounds made by the gods to provide us resources in exchange for us entertaining their eternal lives, something I want to contest but challenging the church feels like a bad idea so I shall refrain. Each crystal was an indestructible portal to a type of pocket realm full of riches but wrought with danger. Monsters were constantly generated and you must stay there for 24 hours minimum before being able to return. The whole place was divided into floors and each floor is a giant ecosystem unto itself. It ranges from a forest to a sea to the inside of some stone monolith to anything else you can imagine. Each floor is completely independent of each and the path to the next floor is always at the center whenever you enter or ascend a floor you will always start at the edge of a floor that can be dozens of leagues in radius. If that does not scare you every hour you will get jumped by monsters along with at least one succubae or incubi or a combination of both. These are called encounters and are the main bulk of what you do in dungeon delves, every encounter you win you are given a reward based on the power of the monster and the type of ecosystem that floor imitates. The usual game mechanics of deeper floors having better loot but harder encounters apply and environmental effects such as drought or rain or some other more magical effect become more common the more you climb the floors. The environment is always static and the floor number is decided once a dungeon appears in this world, like most dungeon crawlers there is one boss at the end of the dungeon and one mini-boss per floor when you attempt to ascend. The number of floors decides the overall difficulty class of a dungeon with any dungeon that has over a hundred floors considered to be a great dungeon.

Now, here is the kicker that makes the dungeons rather insidious. You see the only way to leave the dungeon was to touch the crystal at the center of a floor that you can either use to leave or descend lower. Now, did you know that both incubi and succubae can as well? How you may ask? You see any incubi born in the womb of a woman or if succubae can ingest enough seed or if any are tamed by class can leave the dungeon as well. What makes the first two so scary is that when coming out they can come out from any of the crystals all around the world and can breed with humans to expand further, chunks of the overworld have been lost to these monsters and every adventure often takes a small dagger and are encouraged to kill themselves if they ever lose an encounter and not die in the battle. The even more terrifying thing was all boss types were incubi or succubae and they too could leave, well not the incubi but children of that incubi sure can. The succubae bosses, however, were easy to spot if they left because the dungeon does not usually make a replica to replace a boss if it left the dungeon and not simply died.
Another thing that made overworld succubae and incubi scary were that they could increase their threat level. Succubae evolved if they took enough sperm and for incubi, it was more generational. If they could use a high-level womb the future progeny would be a lot stronger with a higher threat and if that high threat incubi found one or even used the same one the progeny would be even stronger till the strength of the progeny was doubled in the womb used.
It was not doom and gloom when it came to these monsters because tamed ones(they can be tamed to an extent even if you do not have a class) can be very beneficial to society. Unlike our real world, the overworld of this realm is extremely sparse in natural resources. People say it is because humanity ever set foot in this realm there was a war between gods that left this world rather desolate, again my sensibilities were often rubbed wrong by these explanations by I did not have a better one. There are many monsters, like the well-known holstaurs that somehow give us multitudes more milk than the seed they live on, that are the reason society can continue to exist. Most rewards from encounters were also natural resources that most organizations will take off the adventurer's hands in exchange for coins.
Now let us talk a bit about succubae and incubi as a resource for society. The usefulness is divided into three main variants: resource generators like holstaurs and elementals; free labor like cat girls or dog girls; finally combatants like a golem or minotaur. There is often overlap but you get the gist. They are a cornerstone of society and even the church allows their presence.

In terms of power, monsters go from F to SSS tier. F tiers a noncombatant can take on, and SSS is an apocalyptic event with the power to level cities in minutes. The latter tend to be the final boss of great dungeons and only succubae have been recorded to be as such. In known history, only one SSS ever came to the overworld after ingesting who knows how many elite adventurers that went down that rabbit hole. There is a whole era named after that one called the age of the dragon, and I will leave it up to your imagination as to what that succubae were. In the end, the end of an era is also known as the bringer of change but is more commonly referred to as the hero who brought about the end of that madness and brought the current era. I think it is called the era of expansion but I never focused on history lessons because no matter what world, they are mind-numbingly boring.
Now to enter a dungeon a minimum pair of at least one man and woman to enter a dungeon. More women can be added to the pair and entering a dungeon for the first time forms a magical bond called a harem, the amount people that can be attached to that bond is decided by the man's charisma and the dungeon only teleports a group to the same location if they are in the same harem, you will not be allowed in if you are not part of one. Only the male can teleport into the dungeon but anyone can teleport out, however, when this shift happens every single member regardless of where they are in the world will be teleported in or out. This made harems a very serious affair. This bond can be broken but it was a massive hassle and people tend to stick to the harems they formed because of familiarity. The loot quantity and encounter size scale with harem size but not boss difficulty so max harem size is encouraged and heavily pushed. Also, there is magical scaling that exists scales the power of the harem depending on the man in the center. It only downscales the stats of the women if they have too many levels over the man which brought credence to the argument that it was some sort of challenge brought about by the gods.
The reason I wanted to enter the dungeon more than anything else was that I was a Pokémon fan and I knew there are a lot of differences but the kid inside whooped in the joy of going inside dungeons and getting pets, though, unlike Pokémon, the pet bond was very permanent and unlike most tamers who often killed their pets when they hit their pet limit for new ones, my modern world sensibilities would not allow that to happen. There was also the small matter of my ability to resurrect any pet(yes my cosmic angel was somehow considered by the world as a pet). SO my option for increasing the threat level of my pets so simply to stuff them with my seed, though the class and level of the person whose seed they consume influence the evolution. I wondered if my cat would become a celestial cat, but that was for future me to think about. Now I just needed to worry about the delve inside this academy's private dungeon which made me more excited than I should have with all the dangers it came with.

Primacy Online
Life on Earth was nearly eradicated in World War III, but using alien technology, the Patriarch of the Church of the Resurrection built a new society from the ashes. He created what he called the Constructed Reality MMORPG, Primacy Online, a world so real that the players could not distinguish it from reality. After outlawing wars between the city-states on Earth, he declared that all wars would be fought inside the world of Primacy Online. Thirteen hundred years later, the release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Players from Earth's city-states will be locked in cryogenic capsules and play Primacy Online in War Mode. Their achievements in the game will determine the victory rankings of their city-states, but if they die in the game, they will die for real. Patrick Armagh found flaws in the game mechanics of Primacy Online and exploited them to rise to the peak of the game. But when the Church declared he was cheating, he was perma-banned from the game. Now, the Church has declared that Patrick and all the other perma-banned cheaters will be included in a special Church group for World War IX, where they can earn redemption for their sin of cheating. However, Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the generally acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online, has a deal for Patrick. With her help and his method of cheating, he has the chance to become a virtual god within Primacy Online, but by taking up her offer, he will become an enemy of the Church. Like a significant percentage of Primacy Online players, Patrick suffers from an ultimately fatal, degenerative nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live. With death staring him in the face and nothing to live for, he accepts Morgan Danan's offer, and once again, enters Primacy Online as Crom Cruach, a disgraced legend. Will Crom Cruach, once again, become a legend, or will he be destroyed by the Church? What secrets has the Church hidden inside the game?
