《Project Felia》Volume 2 Chapter 24 - Mixed Emotions

When we got back to Odins home, Elisa was awake, the mother was glad to see us and especially Odin safe.
“What the hell were you guys thinking? The rare monster could have killed you!”
She didn’t really seem as upset as she made it look like.
“Glad to see you back on your feet, Elisa” I smiled.
She blushed.
“T-thank you guys for helping me out” her face got even more red as she turned her face a bit and looked at the ground.
We were all happy to see her back to her old self.
“Don’t think I will pay you back or anything!” she had her arms in cross.
Helen came running out of the house and gave him a hug as she was glad he was back.
“Look, look, I got these new leggings!” Odin seemed really proved and Helen was star stuck by them.
“So what are we going to do now? Keep on moving?” Cortez wondered.
I remembered what the healer told me, that Elisa might not be mentally healed yet.
“Let’s relax for today, I will find my sister and bringer her back to safety, that is my mission and to do that we have to go to the Thunder Plains”
They don’t know about me visiting Celia at the camp.
“Hell, I am with you, I want some adventure, the past few days have been more exiting than my whole previous life, I will help you find her” Cortez give me thumbs up.
“I can’t settle down myself, I want to have more adrenaline kicks, they always make my day worth living, you could say I am addicted. Yes, I will join you guys on your quest or adventure whatever you want to call it.” I couldn’t stop smiling, knowing I have such good friends having my back.

“Everyone dinner on me!” I still got some mesetas from the tournament and some loot to sell from the guys I killed earlier.
Everyone seemed glad.

We headed over to a restaurant I noticed while I was walking at night, hopefully the restaurant is not filled with to dangers people.
As we got inside it was totally different then from the outside looks of it, the restaurant was really nice and clean with almost no people here.
The food was really expensive, probably the reason it’s almost empty.
We all laughed and ate great food.
“Let’s have a toast for Sky for winning the arena!”
Cortez was standing then he took a little break in his speech…
“And those of us who tried, kampai!” We took a drink (not alcohol, because Helen is there)
“Tell me about the dragon! What was he like?” Helen was really eager to know. Cortez started to visually show her the dragon’s movements as he stood back up to explain.
“First the dragon was like *Imitating ice breath + noise*, then a man started running and screaming, it was really funny, but then all of the sudden *starts flapping his arms* he created a wind storm and we had to hide behind two huge shields! I nearly lost my bow in that storm!
“Then!? And then?” Helen couldn’t hold her eyes of him!
We all really enjoyed watching Cortez explain the boss in a friendly and funny matter.
“You should have seen Odin he was so brave! He jumped into the air to save one of our teammates, you have a really brave brother, Helen!”
Helen looked over at Odin as he had his proud face, but it is true, he really earned that praise.
“Then we have the all serious Sky over here, *Whispers to Helen, but everyone could still hear him* He slipped on the ice and landed on his bum, I will never forget that one haha.”

Both Helen and her mother were laughing, it has probably been a while since they have had some really joyful moments, at least after what Odin told me.
After a while the energy level dropped down a bit and it was just casual talk and storytelling.
“Sky, can I talk to you for a second”
Elisa stood up and started walking over to the exit.
“Y-yeah sure” I stood up and followed her.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We went outside the restaurant, with no people in site and it was less foggy than usual with the moonlight on us.
“I just wanted to thank you for everything…” Elisa was shy.
“You don’t have to thank me, I just did what was right, and you would have done the same for me, right?”
She hid a bit of her face in the scarf.
Elisa sneakily took a hold of my hand, it really shocked me, and we were both blushing.
“I could hear you sitting next to me last night, keeping me company, it feels really great knowing that someone cares.about you..."
Elisa came closer and leaned on my shoulder.
I didn’t know what to say, but the silence wasn’t awkward, I have to admit it felt really nice.
“Sky?”
*Gulp*
“What?” I tried my best to keep my cool.
She look up at my eyes, her face was really beautiful.
Ohh no, I am not prepared for this, what am I going to do, I can’t look away that would be mean, should I kiss her or is she going to kiss me? What am I supposed to do?
I touched her hair as Our eyes got closer.....
“You guys coming back inside or what?” Cortez!!!
We both acted like nothing, Cortez didn’t notice anything either.
We got back inside and I paid the bill, thereafter Elisa, Cortez and I headed to a motel to rest up, we promised to tell Odin and his family goodbye before we leave tomorrow.
As I lied down on my bed I couldn’t stop thinking about Elisa, how can I look her in the eye tomorrow without feeling a bit awkward, I didn’t know she felt like this for me, what do I think of her? She is beautiful, funny, helpful and ……Argh what am I supposed to do?????

Witch Hunt. A Warhammer Fiction
The adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt continue!Adebar von Bolstedt, fugitive noble scion of the Empire, stuck in the Great Forest of Talabecland, is gravely wounded by the bestial denizens of the dark wintery woods, only surviving due to the timely arrival of aid and relief in the form of the masters of this land. What begins as a pleasant stay with the wild noblemen of Talabecland soon becomes a matter of faith and tradition as old as the Empire itself, when he finds himself trying to root out a coven of witches from a society that prides itself on rural living and knowledge of the mysteries of the wild. This quest will either see von Bolstedt's shaken faith in his own god reforged into an intolerant blade, or shattered like ice. Word from the AuthorGreetings! Witch Hunt plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This is the second part of the adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt, as such I recommend reading part one, titled "The Hand of Sigmar" first. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
