《Terror Infinity- Absolute》Eternal Labyrinth School Finale Finale

Emily and Abigail slid to the floor, their lungs squeezed itself, desperate for air. Loud breathing echoed throughout the room and exhaustion ran rampant throughout their body. The cores that Abigail had in her book came out and the Serpent and the Centipede, both damaged with bruises and cuts across their body went and gobbled them up before sleeping.
“Good wor……..k out there…….” Emily panted and took out a flask of water from a dimensional bag. After taking a long drink she tossed it over to Abigail who slowly grabbed for it. Abigail felt like coughing blood. She didn’t take the time to respond and just simply drained the flask of all its content before shutting her eyes. “You know without you; we wouldn’t have lived as long” Emily added. Abigail looked toward Emily who had sorrow in her eyes.
“Did something happen previously?” Abigail asked and Emily just shook her head. “Nothing worth noting but similar situation”.
“If you want to talk about it then you can tell me” Abigail offered and Emily shook her head. “It’s something that happened a long time ago. Besides, this bobo” Emily points a thumb toward Jack, “might be conscious enough to hear it so I’d rather wait for a better time or place to talk about this”
Abigail takes a long hard look at Jack, the hair atop his head hung down covering most of his face, a cloud of vapor could be seen coming out of his lips as he slept. Abigail felt her heart move at the sight and tried to scoot closer to observe him. Abigail looked up to see Emily looking away, her face hidden from view.
“If you didn’t want him to hear then what about through written messages? I’m sure we can talk that way”
“And leave written messages behind? No thanks.”
“We can burn it”
“No traces leave no secrets ready to be found”
“What about….”
“Get some rest, we have to finish this trial as soon or else the three others trapped in their trials will die”
Abigail closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Emily just watched her before getting up. “Heh, this trial is starting to get to me, I’ll go on ahead to scout” Emily sighed. Emily got up from where she was sitting and walked over to Abigail and kissed her before walking through the room with her rifle at the ready, an awl loaded and an awl in hand. It wasn’t long before her figure disappeared into the darkness.

Jack awoke from his slumber and stretched out with a yawn. “How long was I out?” Jack asked himself. Trying to move he felt something obstructing his arm and he turned to look to see Abigail sleeping soundly. Her cute snores echoed into Jack’s ears and without waking her Jack moved himself and let her lay on a jacket. Jack looked around to see that neither Emily nor Spencer was around so he got up and tried to find them. Not too much time passed before Abigail woke up to find herself alone.

“Jack?” Abigail called out and no one responded to her call.
“Emily?” and no response was returned.
Abigail rushed forward through the room to find herself at a glass door with Jack peering outside, multiple objects laying on a table.
Abigail went through the door and on the table she saw wings. Multiple pairs of wings made of wax, feathers and other materials.
Jack turned around to see Abigail and he asked her “Where is Emily and Spencer?” Abigail felt her stomach lurch when he mentioned Emily. “You mean you haven’t seen her?” Abigail asked.
“Nope, but there is a pair of wings missing” Jack pointed out and it was true, on the table was 10 wings, however there was a slot for an 11th and 12th wing.
Abigail suddenly looks at the missing wings and everything started to come together. Abigail rushed to the side and peered over the edge into the vast sky and in the distance a black speck seems to be struggling. “Jack quick, put on some wings” Abigail exclaimed and she grabbed two wings and slid them onto her arms before flying outward to the black speck.
Abigail flew closer and closer to the speck and she saw her. Emily was struggling against the wind as feathers started to melt away. “Emily” Abigail bellowed from the bottom of her lungs and Emily looked up with despair in her eyes.
Emily saw both Abigail and Jack coming toward her and she stopped struggling and attempted to fly toward them when suddenly the wings finally gave from her arms and she plummeted to the sea below. “Emily NO” Abigail cried and she dove in an attempt to catch her.
Emily looked upwards at the duo descending toward her when she threw something toward them. Abigail caught the object and dove toward the sea but a sudden force had abruptly stopped her and forced her to go up. “Abigail no, the sea will dampen the feathers making you fall”
Abigail’s eyes burned red at the sight of Emily falling and desperately wanted to dive down to save her but the moment she thought about fighting back Emily had fallen into the water with a colossal splash. Abigail willed her book into her hand and out came a silver serpent. “Save her for me” Abigail asked and the beast nodded his head and dove into the dark depths below. The scroll in her hands crumpled as Abigail crushed it in her grip.
“Let’s go” Jack said and he flew toward the land in the distance, far in the distance.
Landing on the ground of the land the ground and area around them shimmered and disappeared. A chair that was before them facing various screens that had surrounded the desk. “Welcome Class 7 to the “Principal’s Office” the person said. The voice seemed to originate from the chair but since it was facing away from them both Jack and Abigail couldn’t see who was talking.

“Congratulations on passing the various trials to get here, I know you have sacrificed much to stand before me but I shall reward you for being able to arrive at this point.” The voice said. “You can stay and work to further the plans I’ve laid into this school or do you want to go back to your homes safe and sound and wait retribution day, I’ll let you take the choice.”
Jack looked at Abigail who seemed ready to blow and he stepped forward. “Please let us stay, we want to know everything about your plan” Jack said quickly, Abigail turned to look at him in a state of shock but Jack just motioned for her to be silent.
“Ha-ha. Excellent then one final test should do it” The voice said and the screens started to flicker. “One of these host a trial. Each trial has either already been accomplished or are still ongoing. You are to decide which trial to end or which to reactivate on a much larger scale. Be sure to choose wisely or else.” The screens came alive once more, Jonah was busy smashing zombies inside the banquet hall with Manny occasionally swinging a chair to aid him. Danny was busy avoiding iron golems and other robotic automatons. Mariah was in a world of darkness with spirits drifting back and forth, some came to invade her mind and soul while others kept voicing thousands of pleas. An empty classroom, the broken body of an Arachne. A forest with werewolves lurking about, a locker-room, and the workshop with Joshua trapped in a mountain of tables that threaten to crush him.
Jack looked at each of the screens and then he looked at Abigail. Ending a trial could be a good thing for his teammates, but Jack feared that it might also end their lives. Restarting a trial might mean they’d have to do a trial over again, but on a much large scale.
“Restart the lockers” Jack said and the voice laughs. “Is that your final answer?”
“Yes” Jack said firmly and the voice said simply: “Good, then you should be fine watching the world fall to the beings of the other-side?” The monitors went black and the final screen showed the locker-room glowing. Two-headed monstrosities started to come out.
“I thank you for your help in arriving here, with your approval I can now claim the world as my own. This facility was created to test people, the young generation and hoping to find a special: person or people. To find the person who can lead this operation well long after I’m gone” the voice spoke ecstatically.
Jack memorized the piece of information and then looked at his watch as it glowed.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
