Chapter Seven: Holy Guardian

Nine years have passed...

In a courtyard a young man could be seen practicing a sort of sword technique, in these few years his face have become sharper, his once angelic face have changed, his oval-shaped face became a bit sharper, his skin almost translucent, a devilish beauty! Goddesses were in love with him!

Touching the giant rock lightly with the sword, it shattered! Moving his sword swiftly cutting the air so fast that sonic booms could be heard!

Then he suddenly throw his sword upwards, the sword instantly began to fly to a far away place.

An army of hundred thousands of soldiers was marching towards Crystal Hope empire! They were approaching rapidly! Some were riding on horses and some on flying beast!

"Today will be the downfall of that trash!" a man was leading in front of the army, charging forwards! The army roared, the flying beasts roared!

The leader was commanding the army when he saw something in the sky flying towards them! "Rise your shields!" he ordered! But it was all in vain.

A sword was flying towards the army, its speed almost reaching the speed of light! The sword stopped at the center of the army and began to plummet down.

Boom!

The sword touched the ground but nothing happened, seeing that the sword was only a joke, the soldiers began to laugh, at the same time someone in his courtyard flicked his fingers.

The commander trembled in fear! He knew what that sword was capable of doing! "Retreat! Don't go near that sword! Retreat! Retreat!" he shouted in fear! "Commander that sword is just a jo..." before the soldier could finish speaking, the sword broke in little pieces, the little pieces began to fly to the sky, each piece started to grow to a massive sword! Each sword flew towards the army, slaying countless soldiers!

After these swords finished slaying the army, they broke apart, forming a single sword, flying back to Crystal Hope empire.

"Father-in-law, the army have been slayed" an old man was reading a letter, his eyes were wide open, a stunned expression was in his old face.

"Little Ye you're really our savior!" the old man felt really happy! This powerful being was his son-in-law! And he also had another identity! The Holy Guardian of Crystal Hope empire!

"Yingying have you reached the Core Formation Stage?" Ye Fei was talking to his little sister Ye Hui Ying. "No, I'm stuck at this stage, big brother Fei, you are just fifteen year old and I'm fourteen, but the difference between you and me is really huge!" she pouted and hit his chest.

Ye Hui Ying was in the Energy Purification Stage, in the empire she's considered a genius! Ye Hui Ying was fourteen years old, she was so beautiful that many young master of other families have come to ask for her hand. She, of course, always rejected them, if she was going to marry someone he should be at least eighty percent as mighty, handsome and charismatic as her big brother!

'Tonight is the banquet and the first time big brother will show his face to the public!' she had gone to countless parties in the palace, but Ye Fei didn't go to a single banquet!

The family didn't scold Ye Fei because they knew that he didn't like to be crowded places, so they didn't force him, eventually they stopped mentioning about going to places outside the manor.

What they didn't know is that almost every night Ye Fei got out from the manor to fight, in forests, temples, sacred places, and cursed places! Although he did go to the market with his appearance changed to buy souvenirs to his little sister.

For fifteen years nobody have seen his face, excluding the Ye family and some maids.

"Big brother Fei, did you know that the Endless Oasis empire is going to invade us?" she didn't want others to invade her motherland, she was powerless and her grandfather hasn't been doing well, she felt useless!

Ye Fei had already slain that army but only his Father-in-law knew, he patted her head and smiled at his silly sister. His smile calmed Ye Hui Ying. "With big brother here nobody is going to invade us, maybe there's already news about someone defeating that army" he chuckled.

"Really?" an excited expression was in her delicate face, she always believed in her big brother.

In a room somewhere in the royal palace

"So fast?! The exploration unit just arrived today to inform about that, and he already slain the army?!" a person said trembling.

"That army is just an ant in front of Ye Fei! "a handsome man responded.

"Isn't my son-in-law awesome?! Hahaha! Release the information in the capital, remember always hide his identity!" said the person seated on the throne.

In the capital there was a huge uproar, the powerful army of the Endless Oasis was defeated in the same day that the exploration unit saw them! This piece of news left a lot of people stunned!

"The army of the Endless Oasis empire that were discovered today, have already been defeated by the Holy Guardian, soldiers don't need to be deployed anymore" displayed in the board.

"He had fought five major wars already! And not a single soldier was send, just him alone!" a bald person said loudly.

"Yeah! Just who is he? He's the hero of empire, but the emperor doesn't say who he is!" a person added.

"Can the Holy Guardian be the patriarch of the Ye family?" someone suggested. "How can it be him? Why would he want to hide his identity! Furthermore he's already old and he just appear during major wars! Strangely he didn't go to the five major wars... " at the side another person said.

"I'm want to know!" another person said.
