Chapter four: The Banquet(1)

"You damned old man! Why did you need to teach the same thing all night! I already know all about that manual!" hearing that, the old man said, "Without my guidance you will be unable to ascend in thirty years!" said the old man confidently. He reevaluated the talent of Ye Fei so he shortened the amount of years he needed, who would have told him, that Ye Fei didn't need fifty-two years to ascend! He slapped his own face!

"Even without your guidance, I can ascend in less than ten years!" complained Ye Fei.

Ye Fei talent was heaven-defying, fifteen years old and he's already in the Full Soul Stage!

"Keep dreaming! If you can ascend in ten years, I would be willing to become your subordinate!" the old man said with a confident tone in his voice.

"Sweetheart! You need to prepare before going to the banquet! Your grandpa bought clothes for you!" a sweet voice reached Ye Fei ears.

"Got it mom!" this is the first banquet that Ye Fei will attend, he didn't like this kind of events, but he would be able to see his "wife", Ye Fei walked to the main hall.

"Little Fei, Grandpa bought a set of clothes for you!" an old voice could be heard. The patriarch bought a lot of clothes for Ye Fei, he didn't want his beloved grandson to go to the banquet looking like a beggar!

When Ye Fei opened the door, he saw a group of people carrying clothes in their arms.

"Grandpa, you call this a set of clothes? This is a mountain of clothes!" said Ye Fei happily. "Hahaha! Little Fei, how can you go to the banquet with those poor clothes?" Ye Fei wore an expensive purple robe with gold stripes in the sides, is that poor?!

"Grandpa, the clothes I'm wearing are..." before he could finish what he wanted to say, the patriarch interrupted him, "Little Fei try this!" Ye Fei sighed and started to wear all sorts of clothes, by the end of that, he was feeling tired!

"You look quite good little Fei, alright you will wear that!" satisfied with the clothes, the patriarch went to his room to choose his clothes.

"Sigh... I guess, I should reunite with mom and dad" while walking, Ye Fei sensed a lot of stares from the maids. "The young master is so handsome! Look at his face! So flawless!" a maid said to her friend.

"He's charming looks and that devilish face melts my heart! I want to marry him too!" a maid joined the conversation.

"First princess Sha is so lucky! Is she worthy enough of our young master?!" a maid suggested.

Ye Fei didn't keep hearing the maids praising him, after reaching the main hall, he saw his parents talking about something.

"Husband, I think little Fei should use a veil! What if he enchants all the girls in the banquet?! I don't want seventy-two daughter-in-law's!" a melodious voice sounded in the main hall. "But I want my brothers to praise my son!" Ye Wu protested.

"Then he can use a veil and then take it off when needed" said Ming Ruoxi.

"Sigh... He can use the veil then" he really wanted to see those brothers in the banquet with stunned faces, it would have been funny.

Ming Ruoxi saw her son, she grabbed the veil at her side and told him.

"Little Fei, use this veil!" said Ming Ruoxi, ordering her son.

Ye Fei knew about his mother stubborn attitude, he sighed and wore the veil, but his eyes could be seen through the veil, those eyes were enchanting!

"I think we should go to the banquet now" said Ye Wu.

In the banquet

A lot of people were talking about various stuff.

"I heard you would be married to the Ye family young master?" a girl with a red dress said to the girl by her side. "I don't want to marry him! He's so ugly!" Princess Sha responded.

"There's a rumor about the young master, that he lost his left eye, and that he had scales in his skin!" the girl in red dress started to talk about nonsense.

"I really don't want to marry the Ye family young master..." she didn't want to marry an ugly person, just as she said that Ye Fei was passing by and heard what she said.

'So she doesn't want to become my wife? Mn...' thought Ye Fei.

"The emperor has arrived!" an eunuch said loudly.

The emperor walked until he reached the throne and sat down, "Everyone thanks for attending tonight's banquet!" he drank a cup of wine, everyone did the same thing.

"Tonight I also want to talk about my daughter engagement, Princess Sha come here" said the emperor with a gentle voice.

"Little Ye come here too!" after hearing his father-in-law calling for him, Ye Fei walked towards the throne.

Princess Sha was scanning the entire place for the so-called Ye family young master. A man with a veil came through the crowd and reached the throne.

'Is he so ugly, that he doesn't want to show his face?!' thought princess Sha, a disgusted expression appeared in her face. When Ye Fei caught her expression, he chuckled.

"Little Ye, why do you have a veil?" asked the emperor.

"My mom said that I should hide my face, because I'm too beautiful" Ye Fei responded, 'You think you're beautiful? Aren't you overestimating yourself?' everyone thought.

An more disgusted expression appeared in princess Sha face. 'Just keep spouting nonsense!' she cursed him in her mind. Obviously Ye Fei caught that.

"It doesn't matter just take it off" the emperor already knew about Ye Fei face, because Ye Wu told him.

"Sigh... Okay..." Ye Fei started to take off his veil, a beautiful smile could be seen, his lips were bright red, white as snow skin, his oval-shaped face, sharper where needed to be, and more importantly his charming eyes. Only a word could describe him "Perfect".

Everyone gasped, such a perfect face!

Princess Sha was stunned, everyone was stunned!

'Is he real?' thought Princess Sha.

"He's so beautiful!" a noble girl screamed! Everyone thought the same, especially the noble girls, it was love at first sight!

"By now everyone knows, that Princess Sha and the Ye family young master will be engaged, right?"

"Yes!" the crowd responded, although some noble girls were disappointed. The other girls thought 'he can have more wives, I can catch him!'.

"Princess Sha do you like Little Ye?" said the emperor while laughing. Previously his daughter didn't want to marry him, but now her heart has been captured by little Fei!

"Yes! I really like him!" she not disgusted now, she was totally in love with him!

"Little Fei, do you like her?" asked the emperor to Ye Fei.

'Say yes, say yes!' in her mind Princess Sha was thinking on how she would pass her time with Ye Fei! But the answer that Ye Fei said was going to surprise her!

"I don't like!" said Ye Fei with a firm voice.

"Why?" with a frown said the emperor. His daughter was really cute! How can he not like her? Is he blind?!

"Because she said that she doesn't want to marry me!" responded Ye Fei.
