Second chapter released today, 1 final chapter for season 2 before I stop updating and focus on other stories I have been meaning to write. I will eventually pick up a season 3 for this but not for a while

Chapter 25: Gabe, Lucy, and Mikey

Volume 2 Chapter 12

After Zoa's white dome fell and Paul and Shiro ran in screaming "Anastasia! Gabriel!"

Paul- "Shiro stay close and keep your eyes open we don't know what happened here but Gabriel and Anastasia may be alive and found survivors." He warned Shiro to be aware and stay cautious

Shiro - "Yeah, but oh god all these people, how could Angels do this? This isn't right at all..." He said looking around at all the carnage

After 3 minutes of searching their surroundings they found an Angel kneeling upon a hill, wearing pants but no shirt his back turned looking down at something.

Paul - "Shit we just had to run into an Angel now, Shiro stay low and dont let him see you. Were gonna attempt to sneak past him, we need to find Anastasia and Gabriel." Paul said as he peaked around the corner and saw something unpleasant "Shit Anastasia is with the Angel, Shiro new plan. You have to go act as a decoy so I can get her to safety or if you think you can carry her I will act as the decoy." Paul said as he looked dead into Shiro's eyes.

Shiro - "I will act as the decoy, she has a better chance if you carry her away. I will be fine!" He whispered with focus and commitment.

Paul - "Alright on your mark, whenever you are ready." He said giving Shiro his own pace to move

Shiro ran out of the alley into the lot where the Angel was sitting over Anastasia, he yelled "Hey over here you stupid Angel!" He said before turning around and running back threw the alley... and looked over his shoulder once... and then again as he kept running... He looked again and then stopped and turned around completely but no one was there nor was there a sign of someone attempting to follow him.

Shiro slowly crept up to the wall which he started at and peaked around the corner only to see the Angel still kneeling over Anastasia, he showed himself again and said "Hey stupid Angel I am a hero!" before running down the alley again and looking over his shoulder once more and still nothing... once again Shiro turned around and walked into full view of the Angel and said "Listen Mr. Angel-san can you just follow behind me and not kill me so I ca-" Before he could finish talking the angel pointed a finger at him and this scared the shit out of Shiro who thought and attack was coming.

Shiro quickly summoned a dense blade in between himself and the Angel hoping to block the attack, however no attack came. Shiro looked at the Angel again and the angel had given the one second signal by raising his index finger alone. The normal hey im busy can you wait a second sign, Shiro confused by this just stood there waiting. Paul who had gotten tired of the waiting ran out and shouted

Paul - "Shiro attack him now! Singularity!" He shouted as he created a black hole to the side of the angel

??? "Woah, relax Paul it's me." The mystery Angel said as he turned towards Paul but not before turning the black hole into empty space

Paul "W-what, Gabriel? Is that really you? How do you have wings? what happened to Anastasia?" He asked a ton of questions

Me "Yeah it's me, I have wings because I am an Angel, Anastasia was badly wounded so I am healing her and I am also scanning the area for potential threats." I answered all of his questions without shifting my focus from Anastasia, He then asked us a question "I thought I told you to stay with Brooke so why are you here?" his tone was heavy and commanding.

Shiro "You are an Angel... You are an enemy then right?" He said as his sword floated around him

Me "I wouldn't be saving Anastasia's life if I were your enemy, and how can you even think that, Shiro that's cold." I said laughing

Paul " Who are you? What happened here? Why... why is she in such a poor condition but you are fine?"

Me "If you have ever picked up a bible and saw the name GABRIEL in there then you know who I am, I let Anastasia fight the Angels so she could gain experience and combat awareness, she still has much to learn and her fight isn't over yet as I still need her, in all honesty I still need all of you heroes, however during the fight she was exhausted and nearly died so I intervened." I said without showing very much emotion

Paul "What do you mean you are the Gabriel from the bible... the bibles like 2000 years old? I can't believe any of this!" He asked in awe

Me "Okay, the teeth of the Vitas Moria had its teeth broken from the outside going into its mouth not the other way around which means I broke the teeth going in its mouth not coming out, The Rhinoceros beast was impaled with icicles however the icicles weren't big enough to cause the holes to be as big as they were, and lastly one of the angels earlier stated that it was weird that I had the same skills as them, however they have the same skills as me not the other way around. I have been alive for 3146 years, not as exciting as it sounds, humans are really dumb... fighting and dying over nothing, greedy little bastards who take and take until there's nothing left and then they go somewhere else and take some more. Anyways Anastasia isn't in any more danger so I'm going to head back to Brooke and Ares... see you guys around." I said before disappearing into the sky

As I searched for the camp site while I was flying I noticed a skirmish going on when a flying fireball flew up and then crashed into the ground causing a crater to form and then I saw the crystal start emitting a lot of lasers that cleanly burned through everything it touched, I saw a girl jump out of the crater and grab two others and drag them into the crater, I recognized the two dragged into the crater as Ares and Brooke, Damn I need to do something, Brooke is in danger I said to myself.

"Soul Shield" I said to myself as I moved my hand before me and the first laser that came in contact with it was absorbed, and then every laser after it. The shield was so wide it completely blocked my wings from being touched.

As soon as the light show stopped, I saw the girl who dragged Brooke and Ares into the hole and I was aware that she pulled them into the hole to save them and so I was going to thank her when the time came but when she came out of the hole she stumbled and then jogged and then ran and threw her sword which fell short of her target and that's where I heard what I wanted, "So somewhere in the dead man's land I will find Lucy... it's been far too long, don't worry you will be free soon." I whispered to myself

The man was obviously planning something so I pointed my hand forward and fired a simple soul spear and just like that it did what it was designed to, kill the soul of the individual it hits.

After I killed the Angel I descended in an instant and stood no more than 5 meters from the now dead Angel and the girl who saved Brooke and Ares, I glanced over my wing and saw Ares in the hole looking towards us, "Hello, my name is Gabriel may I ask what your name is?" I said to the woman who looked up at me with disgust but also worry and fear, "Why don't you just kill me knowing my name means nothing, to you Angels." She said with hopeless eyes. "I am asking your name because I wanted to thank you for saving those important to me in that crater over there." I said while I pointed to the crater, Ares who saw me point towards her lowered her head, I believe she was curious to what was going on outside the crater.

"Thank me? Your friends?" She looked over at the crater before looking back at this strange Angel, she must've assumed I was acting as no Angel would befriend a human here.

"Well yes, so I would like to know the name of the person who saved those important to me and I would also like to compensate you so I will grant upon you one wish no matter what it may be." I said with a look in my eyes that was filled with nothing but seriousness

"M-my name is Sora Yamoto, and if you are serious I want you to save my partner Galahad." She said with a little hope in her eyes now

"Sora? You have a stuttering problem when you are nervous just like your brother Shiro, hmm Galahad... I am survived he is still alive he is in critical condition for sure." I said as I stood over 'Galahad' I saw his eyes blown out, his ears bleeding profusely, his arms twitching.

Sora "You know my brother? Is he okay?" She asked worried

Ares saw Sora talking to me naturally now and decided to come out of the hole and get closer as she got closer she recognized me and shouted "Gabriel? Why do you have Angel wings?" Flustered and confused however she never backed away

Me "Shiro is fine, he is becoming more of a man every day. Ares, I have Angel wings because I am an Angel. I am sorry I never told you but I was hoping no one would ever know but I guess the cats out of the bag now. I would've moved sooner but I didn't want Damocles' tracking my location but I assume he knows where I am now that I used my real abilities." I talked to Sora and Ares at the same time

I reached out and put my hand on his chest, he immediately grabbed my hand as if trying to identify me by my arm.

I used my gifts as an angel to quickly absorb the life around me and transfer it to him, keeping him in a stable condition, specially healing his ears first, his left ear would be first as I didn't give priority to a specific ear I just picked one and so left it was, it took an hour before his left ear was back in effect.

"Hey there Galahad my names Gabriel, I will be restoring your body functions within the next few hours so just relax and I will have you back fully operational soon enough. Sora is here as well and I think she was really worried."

"Sora is here, is she okay?" He said sounding worried

"Yeah shes fine, you guys can talk and act as if I am not here and I will focus on healing you." I said as I had already begun working on his right ear.

Ares "Who is this Damocles' person? and What did you mean by he can find you now?" Ares said looking at me curiously

Me "Damocles' is the one and true god of this universe, he created everything and so forth, I am merely a creation of his, and now that I have used my powers he can track me. I need to free Lucy quickly and leave before Michael gets here..." I said explaining myself

Sora "Lucy as in Lucifer? She said she couldn't be released as it would let all the other gods and devils in the void free as well, she had freed all of us heroes from the crystals seal which slowly drained us of our life forces and if we stayed connected to it, it would've killed us in 2 years time. She gave us freedom from that stupid king and created a home for us there are a total of 89 of us and she gave us the name Cerberus in the sense that we will guard the gate of hell." She said trying to convince me

I began healing his eyes as they began to restore and I needed complete focus as I needed to connect everything to how it was before, I did this with his left eye, as it just seemed right.

Me "I will be getting her out of the void, nobody will stop me. I don't care how many gods and devils are on the other side of that door the only one escaping from the void will be Lucy!" I looked in Sora's eyes and my eyes flickered and then changed to pure yellow and the outer rims of my pupils became black

As I finished fixing Galahad's left eye the first thing he saw were my wings and eyes and he freaked out and reached for his weapon and stabbed me in the stomach, I looked down at the blade and laugh as I then touched the blade and disintegrated it, and then my wound just closed within 2 seconds. Sora seeing this looked at me with fear in her eyes.

"Settle down I'm not done healing you." I said as I continued to feed him the surroundings life and started repairing his right eye now. We sat around for another 2 hours fixing his right eye and as soon as we finished he got up and distanced himself from me.

"See, humans don't even know how to show gratitude however I did this as a favor for saving Ares and Brooke so I don't really care how he acts. I will say this now though, I will be heading to the dead mans land and I don't care if you are former heroes, anyone attempting to stop me from releasing Lucy will meet certain doom." I said getting up from my kneeling position and walked over to the crater, jumped in and jumped out with Brooke.

Me "Regeneration... It hasn't been that long has it? Well it's just like riding a bike I guess so here we go."

After spending an incredible amount of time sitting by Brooke's side restoring the skin and bone of her leg slowly, 12 hours later I had finished in regenerating her whole leg... I got bored halfway through and just filled her body with my mana and unlocked and boosted her natural regeneration and let her body do its own healing. If the body failed to recover normally I gave it a little nudge in the right direction until her leg had looked brand new. Well that was anti climatic, well now that that's done with I will be going to the no mans land and searching for the hidden cave.

Sora "Please don't do this, the world will become extremely chaotic if even one god gets free, you are risking so much just for the sake of one person." She says still trying to convince me otherwise

Me "I will free Lucy, I will free her in whichever way reveals to be the fastest method because she doesn't deserve to spend even a single second longer in the void, she never did anything wrong and I refuse to sit back and let her remain imprisoned because of me, do you know how many years it took me to track down where her seal was? Do you know how big the universe is that I had to check for over 2400 years, and after all that time the only reason I was able to find her location was because she started using her powers to summon Heroes from Earth here? Earth the hotspot of the universe, no one wouldn't notice such a thing happening... except for Damocles' who doesn't even bother checking on his old creations so obsessed with his new creations, trying to once again surpass his own creations by making them better when all he really needed to do was be content with all he created." I was out of breath but I continued to look at Sora, "I won't back down, I am leaving now." The last words I said

Ares "Wait! I want to go with you. I owe you my life not the others, let me come with you. Please, I won't slow you down, I promise!" She said almost begging me to take her with me, the corners of her eyes tearing up

Me "I will not argue if you wish to come along I will not say no, however I plan on walking through hell to get to Lucy and I will not stop there, if you come with me I will grant you power so you won't slow me down. This power will change you... Do you accept?" I said offering Ares my hand

Ares "Yes!" She didn't hesitate at all

Me "Strip" I said calmly

Ares "Pardon?" She replied raising an eyebrow

Me "I will be performing a ritual I had studied for millennia's, in order for this to work you need to be topless." I explained

Ares Immediately took off everything, and I mean everything revealing an incredibly toned body with a chocolate skin tone and I couldn't help but stare... I know im ancient but theres never a bad time to admire something amazing.

Anyways I immediately cut my hand open and with my blood I drew a diagram on her chest and then I did the same symbol on her back, I had to cut my hand more than once as my wound kept regenerating, I also added a little marking to her forehead and pulled six bones out from my wings... painful... so painful, I used these bones to insert a set diagonally on the back of her shoulder blades, another set 3 inches below the shoulder blades, and the last set around her lower back going straight left and right. After the last bones were inserted, I cut my hand for the final time raised my hand and pierced her back. I gripped her heart with my hand and let my blood soak her heart and transferred my energy directly into her and I could tell it was working based on the diagrams shining and the bones fusing with her body, she was being turned into a half human half angel... A seraphim

After the ritual was over she had looked the same except she had 6 wings that made her look way more incredibly sexy...

Ares "Shirt are going to be hard to wear now..." She said looking at her wings

Gabriel "Well I am pretty sure you can control their size but seeing as how I had kept mine sealed for so long I don't think I will be able to do anything about mine for now. Anyways off to no mans land." I said before taking off into the air and looking down at Ares who jumped up and flapped her wings once and smashed into the ground... I remember when I first tried to fly... Not good times...

After several hours of attempting she finally got it and after we arrived at no mans land I scanned the area over and over again for hours searching for individuals hiding deep below the surface trying to find this cave and after five hours I found the entrance.

As Ares and I landed and walked towards the cave we got right in front of it before we heard clapping from behind we both turned around to see a man with huge wings with dark brown hair and a appearance as if he was the embodiment of perfection, well shit Michael...

Michael "It has been far too long Gabriel, I thought you would have found a girl and settled down and here you are with a girl, however here you are running to a different girl, I knew you would come by here eventually since all of the people disappearing from Earth I immediately knew it could only be Lucy. I'm sorry Gabriel but she's staying exactly where she is." He said as a giant battle axe materialized out of thin air

Me "She is innocent of the crimes that she was convicted of I told Damocles' this but he cared not for my confession, he said he would keep her locked away to punish me for what I had done. But I knew the real reason, FEAR, he began to fear Lucifer as she was becoming stronger and smarter at an alarming rate and I refuse to let her spend another day in captivity as long as she is innocent!" I said before materializing my soul spear.

Michael "It doesn't matter why, Damocles' wants her to stay so she will!" He tilted his battleaxe sideways and prepared to swing it, lowering his stance and getting ready to jump at me

Me "Give it up Mikey, you could never beat me at anything, time and time again I bested you and even now I will win, you must've been ecstatic when I left, knowing you could finally be Damocles favorite for once!"

Michael "Not this time, Damocles bestowed upon me power in which you could never acquire. This time I will win, and you can watch as I take everything from you."
